Wake Forest at Vanderbilt odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Wake Forest at Vanderbilt odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Wake Forest Demon Deacons (1-0) and Vanderbilt Commodores (2-0) meet Saturday at FirstBank Stadium in Nashville. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET (SEC Network). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook‘s lines around the Wake Forest at Vanderbilt odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

The Demon Deacons registered a 44-10 win over VMI of the FCS last week in the Triad, and that was with backup QB Mitch Griffis. The good news for the Deacons is that star QB Sam Hartman has been medically cleared to play after surgery in August to remove a blood clot.

The Commodores started off strong, recording a 63-10 win at Hawaii before coming home to drop Elon of the FCS last weekend. Vandy coughed up 31 points, 152 rushing yards and 343 passing yards to the Phoenix, so that splashed a little cold water on the 43-31 winning performance.

Wake Forest is No. 21 in the AFCA Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

Wake Forest at Vanderbilt picks and predictions

Prediction

Wake Forest 45, Vanderbilt 20

Money line

Wake Forest (-475) will cost you nearly 5 times your potential return, and that’s way too much risk for such little reward. The return of Hartman is nice, and Vanderbilt (+360) should offer little resistance, but the ‘Dores are still playing on their home field.

PASS.

Against the spread

WAKE FOREST -12.5 (-112) is a strong play laying the points, even if Hartman is eased into action. The Demon Deacons won the Atlantic Division with Hartman under center, and they’re just an offensive machine when he is healthy.

Vanderbilt +12.5 (-108) has been a feel-good story through the first 2 games, as coach Clark Lea has this program headed in the right direction. The Commodores have already equaled its win total from a season ago. Still, it isn’t quite on the same level as a Top 25 team such as Wake, and this will be a hard lesson on how far it still has to go.

Over/Under

UNDER 65.5 (-105) is worth playing lightly, although it’s always a dangerous proposition in Wake games.

The Over is 7-3 in the last 10 games for the Deacons on the road. However, the Under is 4-1 in the last 5 non-conference tilts, and 5-0 in the previous 5 outings in the month of September.

Vandy allowed Elon to run amok last week so there are concerns about the defense, especially against an elite QB. The Over is also 4-0-1 in its last 5 vs. ACC teams, and 5-2 in the last 7 at home, so tread lightly.

Vanderbilt at Hawaii odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Vanderbilt Commodores at Hawaii Rainbow Warriors odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Vanderbilt Commodores kick off the season Saturday against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex in Honolulu. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET (CBSSN). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook‘s lines around the Vanderbilt vs. Hawaii odds, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.

The Commodores weren’t very good last season, piling up 10 losses, including the season opener at home to FCS East Tennessee State. But coach Clark Lea knows defense, and the offense has some adequate pieces to at least be competitive in the non-conference portion of the schedule.

The Rainbow Warriors were hit by mass losses and off-field turmoil in the final days of the Todd Graham era. He is now gone, replaced by former popular QB Timmy Chang, and hope springs eternal in the islands once again. But it’s difficult to rise from the ashes back to prominence in short order.

This will be the 1st-ever meeting on the gridiron between these two schools.

Vanderbilt at Hawaii picks and predictions

Prediction

Hawaii 28, Vanderbilt 26

Money line

HAWAII (+250) lost QB Chevan Corderio to conference rival San Jose State via the transfer portal, and it has to replace its top 2 receivers, too. The offense might take some time to jell. However, the Rainbow Warriors represent a strong value on their home field.

Vanderbilt (-320) was favored twice last season, going 1-1 SU. It hasn’t been favored on the road since Oct. 27, 2018, a win at Arkansas, but the Commodores were much better back then.

Against the spread

HAWAII +7.5 (-108) catching 7 and the hook is very attractive. Vanderbilt -7.5 (-112) has failed to cover its last 4 games as a favorite against FBS opponents. And Hawaii is 6-1 ATS in its last 7 games in the month of August, so there’s that.

Over/Under

The OVER 53.5 (-115) is worth playing lightly, although you likely can expect a slow start from both of these teams before the offense picks up the pace in the second half.

We could be in line for a wild finish in the final game of Week 0. But this isn’t the June Jones run-and-shoot offense and the halcyon days of Hawaii football. Colt Brennan isn’t walking through that door. Timmy Chang isn’t walk…well, he is, but as head coach.

NIT Tournament: Vanderbilt at Xavier odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Vanderbilt at Xavier odds and lines, with college basketball expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The No. 4 seed Vanderbilt Commodores (19-16) head to Cintas Center in Cincinnati to take on the No. 2 seed Xavier Musketeers (20-13) in the third round of the NIT Tournament. Tip-off is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Vanderbilt vs. Xaver odds and lines, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.

The Musketeers are coming off a 72-56 win over the Florida Gators where they covered as 2.5-point favorites. Xavier shot just 20% from deep yet made 16 of 22 free throws.

Xavier is just 2-7 against the spread (ATS) over its last nine games. It is 15-18 ATS on the year and snuck into the top 25 for a few-week stretch. It has won three of its last four games straight up (SU).

Vanderbilt saw its NCAA Tournament hopes destroyed in a 77-71 loss to Kentucky in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals. The Commodores beat top-seeded Dayton 70-68 in overtime but did not cover as 3.5-point favorites last time out.

Vandy is 13-2 ATS over its last 15 games and is 22-13 ATS on the season. It is led by G Scottie Pippen Jr., who is averaging 20.2 points per game.

Vanderbilt at Xavier odds, spread and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:50 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: Vanderbilt +145 (bet $100 to win $145) | Xavier -180 (bet $180 to win $100)
  • Against the spread (ATS): Vanderbilt +3.5 (-108) | Xavier -3.5 (-112)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 142.5 (O: -107 | U: -115)

[tipico]

Vanderbilt at Xavier odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Xavier 76, Vanderbilt 70

Money line

PASS.

I like Xavier here, especially at home, but not at the -180 price tag.

Against the spread

BET on XAVIER -3.5 (-112).

The Musketeers were awful in conference play, but with teams like Villanova and Providence in the Sweet 16, there’s some argument to be made the Big East is the best conference in the nation.

Xavier struggled heavily against the Big East, but it was 10-3 ATS against non-conference opponents.

The Musketeers have many athletes that can guard Pippen Jr. along with having several different key scorers with five players averaging over 10 points per game.

The Musketeers also allow just 15.2 free throw attempts per game. Vandy lives at the line, averaging 21.6 per game, the 14th-most in the nation. That’s another key to consider, especially with Xavier having home-court advantage.

Lastly, Xavier is led in scoring by 7-foot C Jack Nunge who shoots 54.2% from the field. Vandy allowed SEC opponents to shoot 53.2% from two-point range. Nunge should abuse it in the paint and help the Musketeers cover.

Over/Under

LEAN to the OVER 142.5 (-107).

Vandy lives at the line which has helped it score without wasting time.

That’s one reason it is 20-15 O/U this season. Xavier is 15-17-1 O/U. The Musketeers went over 145 points in both games against Saint John’s, a team that also features a single dominant guard.

While it plays at a quicker pace than Vandy, the Commodores are 13-3 O/U over their last 16. Xavier is 6-4 O/U in its last 10.

Considering the trends, I like the Over here.

NIT Tournament: Dayton vs. Vanderbilt odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Dayton vs. Vanderbilt odds and lines, with college basketball expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The No. 1 seed Dayton Flyers (24-10) visit the No. 4 seed Vanderbilt Commodores (18-16) at Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville, Tenn. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Dayton vs. Vanderbilt odds and lines, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.

The Flyers come this game following a 74-55 opening-round victory over Toledo, covering as 1.5-point underdogs. The Flyers were 7-5 straight up (SU) on the road this season and are 8-3 against the spread (ATS) over their last 11 outings.

Dayton is led in scoring by F DaRon Holmes II, who averaged 11.9 points per game in the regular season. It has wins over Miami (FL), Kansas, and Virginia Tech this season; however, it lost to Richmond in the Atlantic 10 Tournament.

Vanderbilt is led by G Scottie Pippen Jr., who averaged 20.5 points per game in the regular season. It is coming off an 82-71 victory over Belmont in the first round of the NIT Tournament.

The Commodores beat Arkansas earlier in the year but lost to Kentucky 77-71 in the SEC Tournament after beating Georgia and Alabama, ending their NCAA Tournament dreams.

They are 22-12 ATS this season yet just 10-8 SU at home.

  • Against the spread (ATS): Dayton +2.5 (-107) | Vanderbilt -2.5 (-115)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 134.5 (O: -115 | U: -107)

[tipico]

Dayton vs. Vanderbilt odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Dayton 70, Vanderbilt 67

Money line

PASS.

Dayton has been uniquely incredible at keeping games close, so while I like them to win, I’ll still take the spread instead of the plus-money odds here. Four of its 10 total losses have come by 1 or 2 points.

The 2.5-point spread seems like the best bet in this game.

Against the spread

BET DAYTON +2.5 (-107).

Dayton is 7-5 ATS on the road this season. Its resume speaks volumes to what its ceiling is. The Flyers have downed multiple teams in the NCAA Tournament, including No. 1-seed Kansas.

Its success comes from defensive play that ranks 53rd in the nation in opponents shooting (41.0).

The Flyers’ two top-scoring options stand over 6-foot-8 which undoubtedly helps against a Vandy team that has just one player standing over 6-foot-7 that averages over 20 minutes per game.

A huge key to this game will be free-throw shooting. Dayton ranks atop the A-10 in opponents’ free-throw attempts per game at just 11.5. Vandy ranks second in a competitive SEC in free-throw attempts per game.

Dayton’s ability to defend and not foul will be huge and a key reason why they should be able to keep this game close.

Over/Under

LEAN to the OVER 134.5 (-115).

Vandy has hit three straight Overs and should be able to get some home-court whistles.

Pippen Jr. is among the best scorers in the conference. The Commodores have scored 80 or more points in three of their last four outings and are 8-4 O/U as home favorites.

Dayton is 17-17 O/U this season and 3-1 O/U in its last four games.

SEC Tournament: Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Friday’s Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky odds and lines, with college basketball expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Kentucky Wildcats meet the Vanderbilt Commodores in the third round of the SEC Tournament Friday at Amalie Arena. Tip is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky odds and lines, and make our expert college basketball picks, predictions and bets.

No. 11 Vanderbilt was among the four teams that had to play in the first round, easily knocking off Georgia 86-51. The Commodores were then gifted No. 6 Alabama and won 82-76. They covered both games, as 9-point favorites and 5-point underdogs respectively.

On the season, Vandy is 20-12 against the spread (ATS). It is 3-0 straight up in neutral-site matches. Vandy is 1-1 ATS against UK this season, covering in a 77-70 loss in Lexington as 14.5-point underdogs. It failed to cover at home as 7.5-point underdogs, losing 78-66.

Vandy is led by Scottie Pippen Jr. who is averaging 20.5 points per game. He’ll have see Kentucky C Oscar Tshiebwe yet again. Tshiebwe is averaging 17.3 points and 15.3 rebounds per game.

The West Virginia transfer is a contender for Player of the Year and is a key reason the Cats are 25-6. No. 5 Kentucky, rankings courtesy of the Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports, is just 14-16-1 ATS on the season though and is just 7-6 straight up away from home.

Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky odds, spread and lines

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 12:30 p.m. ET.

  • Money line: Vanderbilt +440 (bet $100 to win $440) | Kentucky -650 (bet $650 to win $100)
  • Against the spread (ATS): Vanderbilt +10.5 (-107) | Kentucky -10.5 (-115)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 142.5 (O: -115 | U: -107)

[tipico]

Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Kentucky 78, Vanderbilt 69

Money line

PASS.

Betting a -650 in March is asking to be disappointed.

Similarly, Kentucky won by 12 and 7 in the teams’ meetings in the regular season and should come out on top, making the +440 a tad too risky for my taste.

Against the spread

LEAN to VANDERBILT +10.5 (-107).

As tournaments go deeper, it’s easier to see which teams have it in them to continue, and Vandy just might. While Vandy hasn’t beaten Kentucky, it has been a covering machine as of late.

Since February 2, which Vandy covered a 14.5-point spread in Kentucky, the Commodores have gone 11-1 ATS. Pippen Jr. has helped captain an offense that’s been just good enough to keep games close. In that span, they’re 6-6 straight up.

Vandy is 12-7-1 ATS against conference opponents while Kentucky is just 8-10. The Wildcats also rank 133rd in the nation in free-throw percentage, which could help keep this game close late.

For those reasons, I like Vandy to keep their hot play alive, but I still wouldn’t put it on them to come out on top and advance.

Over/Under

BET the OVER 142.5 (-115).

Kentucky is one of the highest-scoring teams in the nation, averaging 80.1 points per game. The Wildcats rank 12th in field goal shooting as well at 48.9%.

Their strength is in their rebounding behind Tshiebwe. Considering Vandy has one player that consistently seeing minutes over 6-foot-7, I expect the Cats size to be huge and help them rack up offensive boards.

Vandy is 10-3 O/U in its last 13 games and 20-12 O/U on the season. Pippen Jr. should help them continue scoring easily, having averaged 84 points per game in the first two rounds of the SEC Tournament.

Vanderbilt at Ole Miss odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s Vanderbilt Commodores at Ole Miss Rebels odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Vanderbilt Commodores (2-8, 0-6 SEC) visit the No. 10 Ole Miss Rebels (8-2, 4-2) Saturday at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Vanderbilt vs. Ole Miss odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.

The Commodores have dropped five in a row, and bowl eligibility waved good-bye long ago. But Vandy isn’t quitting, and it has covered three of the past four outings while the Under has hit in three of the previous four.

The Rebels topped Texas A&M last weekend, 29-19, and it has now won five of the past six while going 4-1 ATS in the previous five contests. The Under is a perfect 5-for-5 dating back to its last Over result Oct. 9.

Vanderbilt at Ole Miss odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Ole Miss 51, Vanderbilt 12

Money line

Ole Miss (-10000) will cost you $100 for every $1 won. That’s ridiculous.

AVOID, and look to the line.

Against the spread

OLE MISS -35.5 (-108) should be able to roll up huge totals against Vandy +35.5 (-112) in this lopsided matchup. The Rebels have covered four of the previous five games overall.

While the Commodores have played hard in recent weeks, they’re going to struggle containing the high-octane offense of the Rebels.

Over/Under

The UNDER 65.5 (-110) is the play here. This isn’t going to be a defensive slog, but it isn’t going Over, either. Vandy has a terrible offense, and it’s not going to be able to muster much against Ole Miss in a difficult place to play.

The Rebels have actually stepped up the defense lately, allowing a respectable 20.3 points per game across the past four. The Under is 5-0 in the previous five for Ole Miss, and 4-1 in the past five for Vandy. Look for more of the same.

Kentucky at Vanderbilt odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s Kentucky Wildcats at Vanderbilt Commodores odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Kentucky Wildcats (6-3, 4-3 SEC) travel south to Vanderbilt Stadium for a tilt with the Vanderbilt Commodores (2-7, 0-5) Saturday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Kentucky vs. Vanderbilt odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets

Once with CFP aspirations, Kentucky has lost three straight games starting with the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs. The Wildcats followed that up with a 14-point defeat at Mississippi State and a 3-point loss to Tennessee.

Penn State transfer QB Will Levis and the Wildcats will look to get back on track in what should be an easy win.

Vanderbilt has won just two games this season, most recently five weeks ago when they picked up a 30-28 victory against Connecticut. The Commodores were throttled 45-6 by Mississippi State two weeks ago and enter this one as heavy underdogs.

Kentucky at Vanderbilt odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Kentucky 38, Vanderbilt 10

Money line

PASS on the money line. Vanderbilt doesn’t have a good win this season, and Kentucky doesn’t provide enough value.

Kentucky started 6-0 with wins over Florida and LSU, but there’s no reason to think they won’t come out on top despite its recent struggles. However, the value isn’t there on either side of this line.

Against the spread

BET to KENTUCKY -21.5 (-105) as Vanderbilt just hasn’t shown consistency against quality SEC opponents. The Commodores were destroyed by Mississippi State just two weeks ago and lost 62-0 to Georgia earlier in the season.

Kentucky is one of just three teams that have ended within three scores of Georgia. The Wildcats have a dynamic run game that averages over 180 yards per game and should be able to run all over the Commodores.

Combine the success of Kentucky this season and the weaknesses Vanderbilt has shown, and you should get a game that’s not within three scores.

Over/Under

“LEAN” to the UNDER 52.5 (-108) as Kentucky’s offense just hasn’t been as consistent as I’d like to see. The Wildcats haven’t topped 20 points per game in four of their last six.

Levis and WR Wan’Dale Robinson are a productive duo and should score, but at what level is the question. Vanderbilt is also inconsistent — at 14.9 points per game, it’s the only team in the SEC averaging under 20 points per game.

With Kentucky having to carry the load of the scoring for this Over to hit, this is a bet against their offense going parabolic.

Vanderbilt at Florida odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s Vanderbilt at Florida odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Vanderbilt Commodores (2-3, 0-1 SEC) head south to take on the No. 18 Florida Gators (3-2, 1-2) Saturday. Kickoff from Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville is set for noon ET. Below, we look at the Vanderbilt vs. Florida odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.

Rankings according to the AFCA Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

The Gators suffered their second loss in three weeks with a 20-13 road loss at the Kentucky Wildcats last week. They had played well in a 31-29 loss against the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide in Week 3 in their previous defeat. Florida has been dominant offensively with 29 or more points scored in four of its five games.

The Commodores’ traditionally weak program has taken down UConn and Colorado State for their two victories, but they suffered a 62-0 loss to the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs in Week 4 in their only other game against a ranked opponent.

Vanderbilt at Florida odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Florida 45, Vanderbilt 14

Money line

PASS on the money line.

This one should be obvious, but upsets do happen, and betting 1000x your money for one unit of return is too risky to ever be worth it. Look toward the spread and total for better values.

Against the spread

“LEAN” to VANDERBILT +38.5 (-105).

The Gators have yet to outscore a team by even 25 points, despite games against Florida Atlanta, South Florida and Tennessee – all games where they came in as heavy favorites. The Gators have yet to top 42 points this season.

Vandy has been surprisingly mediocre this season with two wins after losing all its games last year.

Handing Colorado State a loss was impressive for this program. While they were crushed by Georgia, the Bulldogs are a level above everyone not named Alabama.

They haven’t lost by more than 20 outside the Georgia game. The Commodores won’t be able to hang with the Gators, but I do like them to lose by fewer than 39.

Over/Under

BET on the UNDER 60.5 (-112) as the best value. Both teams have gone Over this total just twice this season. While I expect Vandy to cover, it likely won’t get more than 20 points.

The Gators gave up 31 to Alabama but haven’t given up more than 20 to any other opponent. Florida will have to do the heavy lifting for this total to go Over, and given that it’s scored under 40 points in three straight matches, it will likely take the pedal off the gas late.

Connecticut at Vanderbilt odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s Connecticut at Vanderbilt odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Connecticut Huskies (0-5, Independent) and Vanderbilt Commodores (1-3, 0-1 SEC) meet Saturday at Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Connecticut vs. Vanderbilt odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.

The Huskies came oh-so-close last week, falling 24-22 at home to Wyoming. They easily covered the 31.5-point number, however, and are 2-0 ATS across the past two after starting out 0-3 ATS. UConn is average 21.5 PPG in the past two, after being shut out in each of the first two against FBS foes.

Speaking of shutouts, Vandy was blanked at home last weekend by No. 2 Georgia, 62-0. It’s now 0-3 SU/ATS in three home games, and it has allowed 103 points across the past two outings against Stanford and UGA.

Rankings according to the AFCA Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

Connecticut at Vanderbilt odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Vanderbilt 26, Connecticut 22

Money line

Vanderbilt (-700) lost to an FCS team, East Tennessee State, in Clark Lea’s coaching debut. Not only did it lose at home to the Bucs, it was dusted by 20 points. While I expect Vandy to scratch this one out, it shouldn’t be this heavily favored against anybody.

AVOID, and look to the spread instead.

Against the spread

CONNECTICUT +14.5 (-110) is a tremendous value catching two touchdowns, as it has covered the past two, and nearly won outright last weekend as 31.5-point ‘dogs.

Vanderbilt -14.5 (-110) has no business being a double-digit favorite against anyone. The last time didn’t turn out so hot, as it was a 21-point favorite vs. ETSU. In fact, the Commodores are 1-3 ATS in the past four as a double-digit favorite going back to Sept. 29, 2018, and they’re 1-2 SU in the past three such instances.

Over/Under

UNDER 51.5 (-110) is the play in this one as we have two bad football teams on display in Nashville.

The Under is 4-1 in the past five tries for the Huskies against SEC schools, while cashing the Under in 12 of the past 17 games played in the month of October.

The Under is a perfect 4-0 in the past four when Vandy is installed as a favorite, and 5-1 in the past six non-SEC battles.

Georgia at Vanderbilt odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Saturday’s Georgia Bulldogs at Vanderbilt Commodores odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs (3-0, 1-0 SEC) and Vanderbilt Commodores (1-2, 0-0) meet Saturday at Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET. Below, we look at the Georgia at Vanderbilt odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.

Rankings courtesy of the AFCA Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

The Bulldogs grinded out a 10-3 win over Clemson in a neutral-site affair in their opener Sept. 4. They have since re-discovered the offense against UAB and South Carolina, averaging 48.0 points per game (PPG) in back-to-back routs, both Over results.

The Commodores picked up their first win Sept. 11 in a 24-21 victory at Colorado State, but they returned home and were flattened by Stanford 41-23 seven days later. Vandy is 0-2 straight up and 0-2 against the spread in two home games.

Georgia at Vanderbilt odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Georgia 52, Vanderbilt 10

Money line

It shouldn’t even need to be said, but you cannot play Georgia (-100000) as there is just no value on a crazy line like this.

AVOID and look to the spread instead.

Against the spread

GEORGIA -34.5 (-117) has found its offense in games against inferior foes UAB and South Carolina. Vanderbilt is much worse. It has absolutely no way of challenging the UGA defense and scoring. It would be a huge upset if Vandy were able to cover the spread, quite frankly. This is one of the worst teams in a Power 5 conference.

Stream college football games on ESPN+ by signing up here.

Over/Under

OVER 51.5 (-110) is the play. Georgia should be able to take care of business on its own. Vanderbilt isn’t likely to offer much in the way of offense anyway. The Over is 2-0 in the past two games for UGA, as it is averaging 48.0 PPG during the stretch, while allowing just 10.0 PPG. Expect more of the same here, and it could be even more lopsided.
