The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs (6-0, 3-0 SEC) and Vanderbilt Commodores (2-5, 0-3) meet Saturday at FirstBank Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. ET (CBS). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Georgia vs. Vanderbilt odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

The Bulldogs moved their conference record to 3-0 with a dominant 51-13 victory over the No. 23 Kentucky Wildcats last Saturday. They easily covered the 14.5-point spread at home and cashed the Over (46.5). The cover ended an 0-3 against the spread (ATS) run and improved Georgia to 2-4 ATS on the year.

Vanderbilt lost its 5th straight game last Saturday against the Florida Gators 38-14. It currently sits in last place in the SEC East heading into this weekend’s game against No. 1 Georgia. The Commodores are losing by an average of nearly 20 points per game in conference play and have failed to cover the spread in any game this season.

Georgia is No. 1 in the US LBM Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

Georgia at Vanderbilt picks and predictions

Prediction

Georgia 54, Vanderbilt 17

Moneyline

BetMGM is not even offering a moneyline bet on this game because the Bulldogs are such a heavy favorite. Just avoid and look to the spread and total.

AVOID.

Against the spread

BET GEORGIA -32.5 (-115).

It really does not matter how high this spread is, Georgia will dominate Vanderbilt in this one. In their last two meetings, Georgia has won by a combined 117-0. Vanderbilt has scored a grand total of 6 points against the Bulldogs in their last 12 quarters against each other.

The Bulldogs manhandled a much better Kentucky team last weekend. This Commodore team lost to Kentucky by 17 earlier this season. Georgia looks like it is finally hitting its stride offensively after starting a bit slow, and we know how dominant its defense can be every week.

You also have to consider that Vanderbilt has yet to cover any game this season, even against the lesser opponents it has faced.

Over/Under

BET OVER 55.5 (-110).

Vanderbilt is allowing 40 points per game to its opponents in conference play and Georgia is by far the best team it has faced thus far. According to TeamRankings.com, the Commodores are allowing 445.0 yards per game (115th-fewest in the country). The Bulldogs rank 8th in that category, allowing just 271.8 per game.

Georgia has scored at least 45 points in 4 of its 6 games this season.

Analyzing Saturday’s Georgia Bulldogs at Vanderbilt Commodores odds and lines, with college football expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs (3-0, 1-0 SEC) and Vanderbilt Commodores (1-2, 0-0) meet Saturday at Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. Kickoff is scheduled for noon ET. Below, we look at the Georgia at Vanderbilt odds and lines, and make our expert college football picks, predictions and bets.

Rankings courtesy of the AFCA Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

The Bulldogs grinded out a 10-3 win over Clemson in a neutral-site affair in their opener Sept. 4. They have since re-discovered the offense against UAB and South Carolina, averaging 48.0 points per game (PPG) in back-to-back routs, both Over results.

The Commodores picked up their first win Sept. 11 in a 24-21 victory at Colorado State, but they returned home and were flattened by Stanford 41-23 seven days later. Vandy is 0-2 straight up and 0-2 against the spread in two home games.

Georgia at Vanderbilt odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Georgia 52, Vanderbilt 10

Money line

It shouldn’t even need to be said, but you cannot play Georgia (-100000) as there is just no value on a crazy line like this.

AVOID and look to the spread instead.

Against the spread

GEORGIA -34.5 (-117) has found its offense in games against inferior foes UAB and South Carolina. Vanderbilt is much worse. It has absolutely no way of challenging the UGA defense and scoring. It would be a huge upset if Vandy were able to cover the spread, quite frankly. This is one of the worst teams in a Power 5 conference.

Over/Under

OVER 51.5 (-110) is the play. Georgia should be able to take care of business on its own. Vanderbilt isn’t likely to offer much in the way of offense anyway. The Over is 2-0 in the past two games for UGA, as it is averaging 48.0 PPG during the stretch, while allowing just 10.0 PPG. Expect more of the same here, and it could be even more lopsided.
