NFL Player Prop Bets Picks: 3 best value bets of Week 16

Analyzing the Week 16 matchups and offering up expert picks and predictions on the top player prop bets.

With several playoff-implicating matchups in Week 16, NFL fans should be glued to their seats for nine hours of football Sunday. Below, we look at the NFL Week 16 player prop bets odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

Fans were already treated to three games before a 12-game Sunday slate and a Monday matchup.

The Titans took down the 49ers Thursday with the Packers defeating the Browns and the Colts edging the Cardinals Saturday. Now, it’s time to take our attention to what’s yet to come – Sunday’s matchups.

That said, let’s dive into three of the top player props for Week 16.

Week 16 prop bets picks

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 10:15 a.m. ET.

Patriots QB Mac Jones UNDER 215.5 passing yards (-110)

The Bills need to win this game. They’re coming for revenge as well after the Patriots defeated them in a rain-impacted matchup earlier in the season.

Combine both the needs and what their attitude should be like coming into this one, the chip on the shoulder should help their already top-tier defense. The Bills pass defense gives up the fewest yards per game in the NFL at just over 175.

Jones has only topped this total twice in the past six weeks. He has only topped 30 attempts 4 times since Week 5. He just hasn’t been used quite as often as the Pats offense has shifted towards running the ball more.

Against a stout Bills pass defense, Jones may struggle in Week 16.

Bengals RB Joe Mixon UNDER 72.5 rushing yards (-114)

The Bengals know how to beat the Ravens, having destroyed them earlier in the season.

Cincinnati beat them because of Ja’Marr Chase’s 201 receiving yards. Without Marlon Humphrey this time around, they should again target a weak Ravens secondary.

Mixon, who was banged up and left last week’s game late, already not 100% entering that matchup, may get limited touches. Also, the Ravens have a top-three run defense.

Combine the two, and Mixon may be used infrequently against one of the best rush defenses in the NFL.

Jaguars RB James Robinson OVER 78.5 rushing yards (-114)

The Jacksonville Jaguars are under new leadership. This will be their second game without Urban Meyer.

In their first game without Meyer, Robinson ran the ball 18 times for 75 yards. The workload may be back in his favor as that tied his single-game high this season.

Robinson is averaging 4.7 yards per carry. Under Meyer, the Jags were living or dying, typically dying, by Trevor Lawrence.

Taking on the Jets, the league’s third-worst run defense, Robinson should be able to help carry the Jags, a team likely trying to show they were more than just the Urban fiasco. I expect a big day out of him Sunday.

NFL Player Prop Bets Picks: 3 best value bets of Week 15

Analyzing the Week 15 matchups and offering up expert picks and predictions on the top player prop bets.

With several playoff-implicating matchups in Week 15, NFL fans should be glued to their seats for nine hours of football Sunday. Below, we look at the NFL Week 15 player prop bets odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

Fans will be treated to games like Green Bay Packers at Baltimore Ravens and Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams. COVID-19 has started to impact the schedule, yet all three of our best bets are on the Sunday slate.

With 17 games in the season across 18 weeks, there will be just under a month of regular-season football remaining after this week.

Let’s dive into three of the top player props for Week 15.

Week 15 prop bets picks

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 9:45 a.m. ET.

Giants RB Saquon Barkley OVER 52.5 rushing yards (-118)

The New York Giants are going to be dependent on running back Saquon Barkley. Barkley has been given double-digit carries the last two weeks and has turned those into over 52 rushing yards.

Dallas is allowing the 14th-fewest opponents rushing yards. However, that’s still over 110 yards per game, and Barkley is going to be the main back for New York.

He should get a high workload, and with a 4.6 yards per carry average for his career, Barkley should get enough touches to top 52 yards on the ground.

PLAY: Try our new, free daily Pick’em Challenge and win. Play now!

49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo OVER 246.5 passing yards (-120)

Jimmy Garoppolo has the Atlanta Falcons, one of the worst secondaries in the NFL on queue.

Coming off a brilliant overtime victory in Cincinnati, Jimmy G will get some warm weather to play in. With that in mind, he has topped this amount in two straight games and in four of his last seven.

Playing against a substandard secondary and with a healthy George Kittle and Deebo Samuel, Garoppolo should be able to have his way. I expect his Over to cash in this one.

Bills QB Josh Allen OVER 30.5 rushing yards (-114)

Josh Allen is going to have to be a runner for his Bills to win this one.

The Panthers have the best pass defense in the NFL, holding opponents to just 177 passing yards per game. Carolina ranks 19th in opponents rushing yards per game.

A preseason MVP favorite, Allen has struggled recently, but his ground game has made the Bills offense capable. Allen has topped 30 rushing yards in all but four games this season. He’s coming off a game in which he had 109 rushing yards.

His ability to move the ball with his legs should undoubtedly be part of their game plan. I’d bet on it.

NFL Player Prop Bets Picks: 3 best value bets of Week 14

Analyzing the Week 14 matchups and offering up expert picks and predictions on the top player prop bets.

With several playoff-implicating matchups in Week 14, NFL fans should be glued to their seats for nine hours of football Sunday. Below, we look at the NFL Week 14 player prop bets odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

Fans will be treated to games like Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens along with a massive matchup as the Buffalo Bills travel to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With 17 games in the season across 18 weeks, there will only be a month of regular-season football remaining after this week.

Let’s dive into three of the top player props for Week 14.

Week 14 prop bets picks

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 10 a.m. ET.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara OVER 33.5 receiving yards (-114)

The Saints are going to have to start producing offense. This is a must-win game for the 5-7 team if they want any chance at making the playoffs, which is technically still possible.

Kamara hasn’t been healthy for much of the season, but he’s a full go for Sunday. He’s topped 33 receiving yards three times in his last four games. Also, the Jets have one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

New York ranks 29th in both opponents receiving and rushing yards per game, so this one could get ugly. With limited weapons, it should be Kamara who sees a ton of usage.

PLAY: Try our new, free daily Pick’em Challenge and win. Play now!

Buccaneers QB Tom Brady UNDER 307.5 passing yards (-114)

The Buffalo Bills are still looking like they’re a top playoff contender; however, after a loss to the New England Patriots in Week 14 this feels like a major game in which they’ll come out primed to defeat the Bucs. The Bills have the No. 1 passing defense in the NFL.

Tom Brady will be short a key weapon with Bucs WR Antonio Brown still sidelined. He’s taking on a team that’s allowing just 165 yards per game to opposing quarterbacks and almost doubling that number will not be easy.

Although fading Brady isn’t typically advised, this is a good position to do just that. Also, Brady has missed this amount in three of his last four games.

Browns QB Baker Mayfield OVER 220.5 passing yards (-114)

The Baltimore Ravens can do a lot of things but defending the pass is not one of them — the Ravens give up the second-most yards per game to opposing quarterbacks. They allow over 270 passing yards per game, and without CB Marlon Humphrey they could be in trouble.

This is also a get-right game for Mayfield who has topped 220 passing yards six times this season. He threw for 247 yards in Week 12 against Baltimore which was the last time Cleveland took the field.

I’d bet Baker gets right here.

NFL Player Prop Bets Picks: 3 best value bets of Week 13

Analyzing the Week 13 matchups and offering up expert picks and predictions on the top player prop bets.

With several key, playoff-implicating matchups this week, NFL fans should be glued to their seats for 9 hours of football on Sunday. Below, we look at the NFL Week 13 player prop bets odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

After a Thursday Night Football game that featured America’s team, the Dallas Cowboys, on the road against the New Orleans Saints, fans should be primed for a game with actual flow. The Cowboys ran away with the 27-17 win.

That said, fans will be treated to Bengals-Chargers, Ravens-Steelers and Bills-Patriots in Week 13. The latter two are respectively going to be Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football.

For those wanting a little more spicy in their day, let’s dive into 3 player props with great value.

Week 13 prop bets picks

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Saturday at 10 a.m. ET.

Vikings RB Alexander Mattison UNDER 82.5 rushing yards (-103)

After beating the winless Lions by two earlier in the season, the two sides will now face off in Michigan. At Ford Field, Detroit will look to slow down a Dalvin Cook-less Vikings.

Mattison has been the main backup for the Vikings.

The 23-year-old has topped 100 yards in each of his starts this season; however, this should be different. Mattison might have had a few breakout games, but he’s only averaging 3.6 yards per carry.

Despite Detroit having a weak rush defense, I expect them to stay competitive, and that means slowing the run. Mattison has played well, but getting 26 carries, like he did in his before two starts, doesn’t seem likely.

PLAY: Try our new, free daily Pick’em Challenge and win. Play now!

49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo OVER 229.5 passing yards (-114)

The Seattle Seahawks’ secondary has been absolutely atrocious this season. It’s crazy to think Seattle has been this bad, but the Jamal Adams-led secondary has been far from what they once were.

Seattle is giving up over 274 passing yards per game.

With Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk having been heating up lately, Jimmy G should be able to abuse the Seahawks secondary. Garoppolo has topped this number five times this season.

He should do it again Sunday.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor OVER 107.5 rushing yards (-114)

Jonathan Taylor has been on an absolutely dominant stretch lately, and he’s doing it without that many carries either. His workload has drastically increased though, and he’s clearly the lead back in Indy.

The Colts will be facing the Texans this week, a team they throttled earlier in the season. In the Colts’ 31-3 victory, Taylor ran for 145 yards on 14 carries. He averaged over 10 yards per carry.

Houston has the second-worst opponent’s rushing yards per game. They allow, on average, over 130. They’ve just been horrendous at stopping the run, and I bet that poor play continues into Week 13.

Bet on another huge week from the league’s rushing leader.

NFL Player Prop Bets Picks: 3 best value bets of Week 12

Analyzing the Week 12 matchups and offering up expert picks and predictions on the top player prop bets.

After a few Thanksgiving thrillers along with a big weekend of college football, fans should be primed and ready for another exciting Sunday in the NFL. Below, we look at the NFL Week 12 player prop bets odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

Fans were treated to three Thanksgiving Thursday games. They first saw the Chicago Bears edge the Detroit Lions 16-14 at Ford Field. The Lions covered and the Under hit in that game.

The second game was an overtime thriller between the Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders won 36-33 and covered as 7-point underdogs as the Over hit. The third game was a dominating showing from the Buffalo Bills over the helpless New Orleans Saints. The Bills easily covered in a 31-6 victory and the Under hit.

Let’s dive into a few props that one must consider for the full Week 12 Sunday slate.

Week 12 prop bets picks

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 10 a.m. ET.

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger OVER 254.5 passing yards (-114)

Bengals rank 24th in the NFL with 255 yards allowed per game through the air. They’re still down their second-best cornerback in Trae Waynes, so things won’t be made easier for the home side.

The Bengals had Roethlisberger’s number when they traveled to Heinz Field in a 24-10 victory for Cincinnati in Week 3. However, the Bengals haven’t completed a regular-season sweep of Pittsburgh since 2009.

Big Ben has hit this number in two of his past three games. The Steelers’ offense is starting to click, and the Bengals should be more fearful of RB Najee Harris than they were in the previous meeting, which should help the Over.

PLAY: Try our new, free daily Pick’em Challenge and win. Play now!

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa UNDER 225.5 passing yards (-115)

The Miami Dolphins are taking on the Carolina Panthers this week. The Panthers allow the fewest passing yards per game to opponents (174.2).

With Stephon Gilmore as one of their top cornerbacks and a lethal safety duo, the Panthers have thrived defensively this season. Tua hasn’t been great since returning, and he continues to be without star WR DeVante Parker.

Tua has topped the number in two of his five starts this season, but combine the Panthers’ stout defense, his recent return and lack of dynamic weapons, and the Under is the better play.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams OVER 53.5 rushing yards (-114)

This is probably my favorite prop of the three.

The Chargers run defense is absolutely pitiful, allowing 145.1 rushing yards per game, easily the most in the NFL. With Javonte Williams the future of the Broncos backfield, they need to start getting him more involved.

He’s averaging 5.0 yards per carry and he’s hit this number three times and has received double-digit carries just five times. This should be a good time for Williams, who is one of the league leaders in broken tackles, to showcase his talent.

NFL Player Prop Bets Picks: 3 best value bets of Week 11

Analyzing the Week 11 matchups and offering up expert picks and predictions on the top player prop bets.

After the New England Patriots absolutely thrashed the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football, fans will be looking forward to a fun slate of games Sunday. Below, we look at the NFL Week 11 player prop bets odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

A few games on the docket for Sunday at 1 p.m. ET include Baltimore Ravens at Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills.

The Dallas Cowboys play the Kansas City Chiefs in the evening window with the Los Angeles Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers as the Sunday Night action. Monday, fans will be “treated” to the New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Let’s dive into a few player prop bets to consider putting on your slip.

Week 11 prop bets picks

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 10:15 a.m. ET.

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor UNDER 76.5 rushing yards (-114)

The Colts will be matched up with the Bills in a premier 1 p.m. ET match. While Taylor has hit this number in four of his last five games, he’s only managed it five times in ten games this season.

He’s been given the workload recently but hasn’t been up against a defense as effective as the Bills. He’s exploded on New York Jets, Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Hitting the 100-yard mark is always impressive but it’s not quite as eye-popping against those sides. Buffalo ranks third in rushing yards allowed per game (83.9).

I’m betting the Bills focus on limiting the star back and force QB Carson Wentz to beat them. If they don’t do that defensively, they don’t deserve to come out with a win.

PLAY: Try our new, free daily Pick’em Challenge and win. Play now!

Steelers RB Najee Harris OVER 81.5 rushing yards (-114)

The Steelers’ first-round draft pick has turned into an absolute workhorse. Getting many extra yards due to his size, Harris has been dominant.

He’ll also be going against the worst run defense by a large margin. The Chargers are giving up over 155.1 yards per game, nearly 20 more ypg than the 31st ranked Houston Texans.

Harris is going to be getting all the reps he can handle. The Steelers are unlikely to abandon the run even if they find themselves down two or more touchdowns.

Harris has hit over 20 attempts in his last five games and has topped 80 yards in four of the five. He’s been terrific and is only improving. I expect a big game from him Sunday night.

Bears QB Justin Fields OVER 17.5 pass completions (-106)

The Chicago Bears will be at home Sunday to take on the Ravens whose secondary hasn’t been as good as many expected this season.

Baltimore allows their opponents to complete the 17th-most passes per game (22.8). I’d bet Fields can take another step in his development against a flimsy secondary.

Fields has hit 18 completions in two of his last three games, and while he struggled against Pittsburgh’s eighth-ranked opponent pass completion rate he still reached 17. The Bears drives should be extended more often with RB David Montgomery back which should help Fields get more chances to throw the ball.

I’d bank he continues to progress and can keep pace with a dynamic Baltimore offense.

NFL Player Prop Bets Picks: 3 best value bets of Week 4

Analyzing the Week 4 matchups and offering up expert picks and predictions on the top player prop bets.

While there will be many premier Week 4 battles, all eyes will be on Sunday Night Football as Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady returns to Gillette Stadium to face the New England Patriots. Below, we look at the NFL Week 4 player prop bets odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

There have been a few surprise teams through three-plus weeks, like the Cincinnati Bengals, who defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday Night Football.

The Las Vegas Raiders have also surprised many. Each team’s quarterback is playing at an extremely high level. Let’s dive into three players we think may turn it on (or off) in Week 4.

Week 4 prop bets picks

Odds provided by Tipico Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Bills QB Josh Allen OVER 280.5 passing yards (-114)

Allen is finding his rhythm, and that’s good for just about every NFL fan except those cheering for his opponent. Allen struggled through the first two games, with just 3 touchdowns and 1 interception.

As for yards, he threw for 270 against the Pittsburgh Steelers and then 179 in a blowout win over the Miami Dolphins. This past week, he went for 358 yards against the Washington Football Team.

Allen threw for over 280 yards in 10 of 16 games last season, and he’s playing a Houston Texans team that gave up 304 yards to Carolina Panthers QB Sam Darnold last week. Combine it all, and Allen’s Over is looking like a good bet.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes OVER 2.5 passing touchdowns (-123)

Off to a 1-2 start with losses to the Los Angeles Chargers and Baltimore Ravens, Mahomes should be able to find his footing against a susceptible Philadelphia Eagles defense.

The Dallas Cowboys destroyed Philadelphia 41-21 last week. With Mahomes having 3 touchdowns in each of his first three games, he should be able to account for at least 3 against the Eagles.

It should also be noted Kansas City has just 2 rushing touchdowns through the first three weeks.

Titans RB Derrick Henry UNDER 120.5 rushing yards (-114)

WRs Julio Jones and A.J. Brown are out for the Titans Sunday.

While that still doesn’t make the Jets favorites, it should allow New York to stack the box. The Jets’ one goal should be to make anyone other than Henry beat them.

Henry had 58, 182 and 113 rushing yards in the Titans’ first three games. The Jets are giving up around 110.7 yards per game on the ground which is among the middle of the pack in the league.

With the Jets focusing on Henry and him alone, they should be able to hold him under 120 yards. That’s a steep yards target, even for one of the best backs in the league.
