USWNT vs. Argentina odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s USWNT vs. Argentina odds and lines, with expert women’s soccer picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The USWNT battles Argentina from Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville, Ky. Kickoff is set for Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET (TNT / truTV). Below, we preview FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the USWNT vs. Argentina odds, and make our expert Summer Olympic picks and predictions.

The USWNT will be playing the third match of a trio of October friendlies Wednesday, beating Iceland as a heavy favorite in the first 2 matches. Having won the gold medal in the Olympics last summer, the USWNT have regained global dominance, and they have shown that in their recent friendly as well. They beat Iceland 3-1 on Thursday and then again 3-1 on Saturday. Six players scored a goal in the 2 games showing this USWNT is among the most lethal top-to-bottom rosters they’ve had in a while.

Argentina didn’t make the Olympics and they have struggled to compete at a high level. They drew Uruguay 1-1 in their most recent match on July 13, and prior to that lost 2-0 to Uruguay on July 10. Argentina did play in the Gold Cup earlier this year and made it to the quarterfinal, where they lost 5-1 to Brazil, the team the USWNT beat for the Olympics Gold Medal game in Paris.

USWNT vs. Argentina picks and predictions

Prediction

USWNT 3, Argentina 0

Moneyline (ML)

PASS.

There’s no value backing the USWNT here, especially as they are playing like one of the best teams in the world. The USWNT have been rattling off wins this season and have a 16-1-3 record on the year.

Argentina isn’t the caliber of team to put another blemish on this otherwise virtually spotless season. Avoid this as the USWNT are just too expensive to take.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 4.5 (-108).

Argentina doesn’t play at a fast pace and doesn’t score goals frequently. This is going to be a game similar to their Gold Cup group stage and less like their recent friendlies, which they have had offensive success. Argentina was held scoreless in 2 of 3 games in the group stage, and against quality sides like Mexico, USWNT and Brazil, they scored just 1 goal combined.

Argentina has gone Under this total in 4 straight games. The USWNT has gone Under in 3 of their last 5, and while they have tallied at least 3 goals in 2 straight games, the Argentina offense likely won’t get on the board unlike Iceland was able to.

Considering Argentina’s offense weakness and the USWNT inability to top this total alone, back UNDER 3.5 (-120).

USWNT vs. Iceland odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s USWNT vs. Iceland odds and lines, with soccer expert picks, predcitions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The USWNT welcomes Iceland to Q2 Stadium in Austin Thursday. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (Peacock). Let’s analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s soccer odds around the USWNT vs. Iceland odds, and make our best soccer bets, picks and predictions.

The USWNT is back in action for the first time since taking down Brazil 1-0 in the gold medal match at the Paris Olympics Aug. 10. It was a F Mallory Swanson 2nd-half goal that propelled the USWNT back into championship territory.

Thursday’s game will be the 16th all-time meeting between the USA and Iceland and the first since 2022 in which the U.S. won 5-0. The USWNT leads the overall series with 13 wins, 0 losses, and 2 draws.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4132″ ]

USWNT vs. Iceland picks and predictions

Prediction

USWNT 3, Iceland 0

Moneyline (ML)

PASS.

There is no value on the Gold Cup-winning USWNT (-950), the best team in the world, to take down Iceland. The USWNT has not lost to Iceland in its 15-game history and has home-field advantage playing in Austin. Expect a high-energy crowd that will propel the home team to an easy victory.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 3.5 (-130).

While the USWNT is a dominant force, with any player ready to make the necessary play, its defense is one of its strongest aspects. It will keep Iceland off the board, which will put the total in question. Four goals is too high of a number to put on the shoulders of the U.S. to be confident betting the Over.

Women’s soccer gold medal match: Brazil vs. USWNT odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Brazil vs. USWNT odds and lines, with expert Olympics women’s soccer picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The USWNT and Brazil face off in the gold medal match Saturday at Parc des Princes in Paris. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. ET (NBC / Telemundo / Peacock). Below, we preview FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the USWNT vs. Brazil odds, and make our expert Summer Olympic picks and predictions.

The USWNT crushed the group stage, beating Zambia 3-0, Germany 4-1 and Australia 2-1. In the knockout rounds, the U.S. needed extra time in both wins, defeating Japan 1-0 in a quarterfinal and Germany 1-0 in a semifinal match. F Trinity Rodman scored the winner vs. Japan in the 105th minute, while F Sophia Smith netted the winning goal vs. Germany in the 95th minute. The USWNT has had over 55% of possession in both of its knockout stage matches.

The Brazilians struggled immensely in the group stage. They defeated Nigeria 1-0 to kick off their Olympics action but then lost 2-1 to Japan and 2-0 to Spain. Brazil turned it around in the knockout stage, though, taking down France 1-0 in a quarterfinal and beating Spain in a rematch 4-2 in a semifinal. Despite having 9 fewer shots and 3 fewer shots on frame, Brazil still advanced by Spain, the top-ranked team in the world per FIFA World Rankings.

The USWNT is No. 5; Brazil is No. 9.

Brazil vs. USWNT picks and predictions

Prediction

USWNT 2, Brazil 1

Moneyline (ML)

TAKE USWNT (-110).

The USWNT have looked dominant and have faced stiff competition over the last few games. While Brazil made it through both Spain and France, its group stage proved it isn’t consistent, and against a technically sound team like the USWNT, Brazil should struggle to keep that hot play alive.

In its last 2 matches, the USWNT had 3 more shots on frame than Germany and 2 more than Japan. Given Spain was dominant statistically against Brazil in the semifinals, the Brazilians may struggle against the USWNT, which has consistently had the bulk of the possession against opponents.

Considering these trends, TAKE USWNT (-110).

Over/Under (O/U)

BET OVER 2.5 (+131).

Brazil plays at a fast, up-and-down pace. There were 6 total goals in its semifinal win vs. Spain. Plus, the 2 teams combined for 45 total shots. The USWNT has played to the style of its opponent, totaling 3 shots on frame against Japan and then 10 against Germany.

The Americans have the ability to stretch the field and have the talent to put shots on frame. Including a few friendlies, Brazil has gone Over this total in 4 of its last 7 games. With its style of play in mind, BET OVER 2.5 (+131).

Summer Olympics: Japan vs. USWNT odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s Japan vs. USWNT odds and lines, with expert Olympics soccer picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The USWNT battles Japan Saturday at Parc des Princes in Paris. Kickoff is set for 9 a.m. ET (Telemundo / Peacock). Below, we preview FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Japan vs. USWNT odds, and make our expert Summer Olympic picks and predictions.

The USWNT didn’t have typical sky-high expectations after a disappointing 2023 World Cup. However, the American woman have dominated 2024 so far, winning the SheBelieves Cup and the Concacaf Gold Cup. They won the Gold Cup with a 1-0 victory over Brazil March 10. The USWNT kicked off the Olympics with a 3-0 win over Zambia followed by a 4-1 victory against Germany. It concluded the group stage with a 2-1 win vs. Australia before heading into this quarterfinal match against Japan.

Japan has impressed in the group stage as well. It opened with a 2-1 loss to Spain but bounced back with 2 victories, taking down Brazil 2-1 and Nigeria 3-1. Having just 24.9% possession in its opening match against Spain was a disappointment, but in its 2nd game against another powerhouse, it had more than double the shots of Brazil.

The USWNT leads the all-time series vs. Japan 31-1-8 (win, loss, draw), including victories in 3 straight since 2020 — all in SheBelieves Cup action. Japan’s lone victory came in the 2012 Algarve Cup thanks to F Megumi Takase’s header in the 84th minute off a corner kick.

  • Over/Under: 2.5 (O: -164 | U: +123)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Japan vs. USWNT picks and predictions

Prediction

USWNT 2, Japan 0

Moneyline (ML)

TAKE USWNT (-165).

Despite the USWNT having not competed well in the World Cup, this is a new roster and it is both fast and technically sound. The team’s experience comes in its midfield as 2 players — Rose Lavelle and Lindsey Horan — have triple-digit caps. The USWNT beat Australia and Germany in the group stage. Both are in the top 12 of the FIFA world rankings — Australia is 12th, Germany is 4th and the US is 5th.

While Japan sits 7th, it couldn’t keep up with Spain, the top-ranked nation, in its 1-goal defeat. With the USWNT playing like it might be back to its global dominance, this game could mirror the Japan-Spain battle. Japan had 10 fewer shots and 13 fewer fouls in that match. Expect a similar performance for Japan.

USWNT (-165) is the way to go.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (+123).

If one expects this game to mirror Japan’s most competitive group stage battle, it might not result in a ton of opportunities. Japan ended with just 4 shots while Spain had 7 shots on frame.

The USWNT has allowed just 9 shots on frame through its last 2 matches and should see an enhanced intensity given the knockout stage nature. The USWNT allowed just 1 goal in 4 World Cup matches last season and just 1 through its group stage in the Olympics. It has a strong backline with one of the most experienced goalkeepers in Alyssa Naeher.

Given the value here, TAKE UNDER 2.5 (+123).

Summer Olympics: Australia vs. USWNT odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Australia vs. USWNT odds and lines, with expert Olympics soccer picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The USWNT (2-0-0) battles Australia (1-0-1) Wednesday at Orange Vélodrome in Marseille. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET (USA Network / Telemundo / Peacock). Below, we preview FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Australia vs. USWNT odds, and make our expert Summer Olympic picks and predictions.

The USWNT has had a dominant 2024, winning the SheBelieves Cup and the Concacaf Gold Cup. It won the Gold Cup with a 1-0 victory over Brazil March 10. It hasn’t had strong showings in international play, having lost early in the 2023 Women’s World Cup. However, it has a revamped roster that is finding its groove, beating Zambia 3-0 Thursday and then Germany 4-1 Sunday.

Australia, which was drawn in the USWNT group in the Olympics which took place in 2021, lost to Germany 3-0 Thursday before beating Zambia 6-5 Sunday. It drew the USWNT 1-1 in its last battle on Nov. 30, 2021. Australia has played 4 friendlies since March, beating Mexico 2-0 and China 2-0 while also drawing China 1-1 and losing to Canada 2-1. It sits 12th in the FIFA Women’s Rankings; the USWNT is No. 5.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Australia vs. USWNT picks and predictions

Prediction

USWNT 4, Australia 1

Moneyline (ML)

TAKE USWNT (-190).

Many would argue this is too expensive to take the USWNT and they may be right. The -190 juice is a steep price to pay, but the USWNT dominated a team (Germany) that dominated Australia. There’s no reason to think this team won’t be able to have a similar performance against Australia.

While it is still a young roster, both MFs Rose Lavelle and Lindsey Horan have triple-digit caps and should own the midfield, retaining possession and finding their forwards. That’s what happened as the USWNT ended with 56.4% possession against Germany, and it’s likely to happen again.

USWNT (-190) is the way to go.

Check out Pro Soccer Wire: For the American soccer fan, USA TODAY Sports Media Group’s website provides a fresh look at the beautiful game.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET OVER 3.5 (+130).

For the sake of value, this is the best play in the match.

The USWNT is coming off a game in which it put 4 on Germany and ended with 13 shots, just a few days after scoring 3 against Zambia. It has a quick and talented frontline, and against a team that gave up 5 goals to Zambia, it should be able to break through early and often.

Australia has tallied 6 goals in 2 Olympic games and scored in its last 6 games leading up to the global event. Five different women have scored in the Olympics for Australia, so it has numerous talented players.

Given the consistently on both attacks, TAKE OVER 3.5 (+130).

Summer Olympics: USWNT vs. Germany odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s USWNT vs. Germany odds and lines, with expert Olympics soccer picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The USWNT (1-0-0) battles Germany (1-0-0) Sunday at Stade de Marseille in Marseille. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. ET (USA Network / Telemundo / Peacock). Below, we preview FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the USWNT vs. Germany odds, and make our expert Summer Olympic picks and predictions.

The USWNT has had a dominant 2024, having won the SheBelieves Cup and the Concacaf Gold Cup. The USWNT won the former tournament with a 1-0 victory over Brazil March 10. It then won the SheBelieves Cup in a 2-2 (5-4 penalty kicks) victory vs. Canada April 9. It beat Zambia 3-0 in its opening group stage match of these Olympics Thursday and will cap off its first 3 games in the Olympics by taking on Australia Wednesday.

Germany had a decisive win as well, taking down Australia 3-0 Thursday in its opener. It has played well so far in 2024, winning 5 of its last 6 games, all Euro qualification matches. The Germans went 1-1-1 in the 2023 Women’s World Cup, missing the knockout stage cut. F Alexandra Popp, who is 33 years old, is Germany’s most dynamic player, having netted 67 goals in 140 caps, both the most on the roster.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

USWNT vs. Germany picks and predictions

Prediction

USWNT 1, Germany  1

Moneyline (ML)

BET DRAW (+240).

Simply put, the USWNT hasn’t been as dominant in international soccer over the last few years despite success so far this year. While it has arguably the most talented roster, it is inexperienced, not having a single defender with 100 or more caps.

The USWNT drew 2 of 3 group stage matches in the 2023 World Cup and also drew its knockout stage match in that event. In Germany, Team USA will be facing the No. 4-ranked team in the world, per the FIFA rankings — the USWNT sits 5th.

Germany is an experienced side with many of its players competing in the Bundesliga. While it has had success as of late and beat up on Australia, it did go just 1-0-1 in its 2 matches earlier in the month, beating Austria 4-0 and losing to Iceland 3-0. Germany will have more experience and less talent. It should be able to keep pace with a young USWNT.

Take DRAW (+230).

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 2.5 (-121).

Both teams have strong defenses, allowing 0 goals in each team’s opening match.

The USWNT allowed just 1 goal through 4 matches in the 2023 Women’s World Cup, scoring just 1 per game as well. Germany has allowed 0 or 1 goal in 5 of its last 6 matches.

The USWNT has had a clean sheet in 5 straight matches and has scored just 4 goals in its last 3. With those trends in mind, UBACK UNDER 2.5 (-121).

USWNT vs. Costa Rica odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s USWNT vs. Costa Rica odds and lines, with expert soccer picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The USWNT welcomes Costa Rica to Audi Field in Washington, D.C., Tuesday. Kickoff in the international friendly is set for 7:30 p.m. ET (TNT/truTV). Below, we preview FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the USWNT vs. Costa Rica odds, and make our best expert soccer picks and predictions.

The USWNT will continue its slew of international summer friendlies. It is coming off a 1-0 win over Mexico Saturday. F Sophia Smith scored the lone goal of the game in the 64th minute. The USWNT has had a solid year, already having won the SheBelieves Cup and the Concacaf Gold Cup. The USWNT won the former tournament with a 1-0 victory over Brazil March 10. It then won the SheBelieves Cup in a 2-2 (5-4 penalty kicks) win over Canada April 9. The USWNT has won 9 straight games.

Costa Rica hasn’t had nearly as much success on the season. It did make it to the knockout round in the SheBelieves Cup, beating El Salvador 2-0 while losing to Canada and Paraguay in the group stage. It then lost to Canada again in the quarterfinal. Costa Rica has lost 2 straight, dropping both games against Argentina 2-0 on May 31 and June 3. It has been held scoreless in 4 of its last 6 games. Costa Rica sits 44th in the FIFA Women’s World Ranking; the USWNT sits 5th.

USWNT vs. Costa Rica picks and predictions

Prediction

USWNT 4, Costa Rica  0

Moneyline (ML)

PASS.

The USWNT (-2200) is a strong home favorite, and with how Costa Rica has played of late, the odds are certainly justified. The USWNT hasn’t flinched at all in these friendlies this season, and it should be able to come out and win with ease.

Unfortunately, for those looking for a juicy payout, fading the USWNT is not recommended. It has dominated its competition this season and will likely continue that trend Tuesday. All odds on the monyeline are a pass here with the USWNT ML far, far too expensive to take.

Check out Pro Soccer Wire: For the American soccer fan, USA TODAY Sports Media Group’s website provides a fresh look at the beautiful game.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET OVER 3.5 (-140).

The USWNT put 17 shots on Mexico, and that resulted in just 1 goal. In its last 2 games prior to the Mexico battle, the USWNT scored a combined 7 goals. Oddly enough, in both those games, the USWNT had under 17 shots. It should be able to get double-figure shots and make more of them count on a weaker Costa Rica side.

Costa Rica, which hasn’t played since June 3, has allowed a goal in 6 straight games and gave up 3 to Canada in the 3rd matchday. The USWNT has a far more potent attacking lineup and should be able to break through early and often. Costa Rica allowed 2 goals in each of its last 2 friendlies to Argentina, which sits 33rd in the world.

The USWNT should be a different beast, and it should be able to put it on the away side. Back OVER 3.5 (-140).

USWNT vs. Mexico odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Saturday’s USWNT vs. Mexico odds and lines, with expert soccer picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The USWNT welcomes Mexico to Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J., Saturday. Kickoff in the international friendly is set for 3:30 p.m. ET (Telemundo/TNT/Max). Below, we preview FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the USWNT vs. Mexico odds, and make our best expert soccer picks and predictions.

The USWNT has had a solid year, already having won the SheBelieves Cup and the Concacaf Gold Cup. It has won 9 of its last 10 games with its loss coming against Mexico on the 2nd matchday of the Concacaf Gold Cup group stage. The USWNT eventually won that tournament with a 1-0 victory over Brazil March 10. It then won the SheBelieves Cup in a 2-2 (5-4 penalty kicks) win over Canada April 9.

Mexico has also played 9 games in 2024. It started out the year on fire, posting a 3-1-0 (1 draw) record through its 1st 4 games. In its last 6, it has 4 losses and a draw. In the Concacaf Gold Cup, it lost 3-0 to Brazil with 2 of those goals coming after a 29th-minute red card. Mexico’s victory over the USWNT earlier in the year was just the 2nd time in history it has taken down the No. 5 team in the world. Mexico ranks 29th in the FIFA Women’s World Ranking.

USWNT vs. Mexico picks and predictions

Prediction

USWNT 2, Mexico  0

Moneyline (ML)

PASS.

The USWNT is a strong home favorite, and with how Mexico has played of late, the odds are certainly justified. The USWNT has been dominant, and it has already secured a knockout stage position when it suffered that loss to Mexico.

As for Mexico, it has struggled immensely since its hot start to the season, and there’s no reason to think it’ll bounce back on the road. Avoid taking the home side at -1000, though, and pass on both the draw and upset.

Check out Pro Soccer Wire: For the American soccer fan, USA TODAY Sports Media Group’s website provides a fresh look at the beautiful game.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET ALTERNATE UNDER 2.5 (+152).

Mexico’s offense has been absent over the last several months, but its defense has been very sturdy. It has scored just 1 goal in its last 5 games and allowed 2 or fewer in 2 of its last 4. Mexico has gone under this total in 4 straight games and in 6 of 9 in 2024.

The USWNT has scored 2 or fewer goals in 4 of its last 6 games. It should be able to hold Mexico scoreless, having 2 straight clean sheets in games against South Korea. Expect a dominant defensive performance.

Considering those trends, expect fewer goals, and back UNDER 2.5 (+152).

USWNT vs. South Korea odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s USWNT vs. South Korea odds and lines, with expert soccer picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The USWNT welcomes South Korea to Allianz Field in Saint Paul Tuesday. Kickoff in the international friendly is set for 8 p.m. ET (TNT/truTV/Max). Below, we preview FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the USWNT vs. South Korea odds, and make our best expert MLS picks and predictions.

The USWNT is starting its latest round of friendlies. It beat South Korea 4-0 Saturday at DSG Park in Commerce City, Colo. Prior to that, it hadn’t taken the field since winning the SheBelieves Cup over Canada April 9. The USWNT has won its last 6 games but did lose 2-0 against Mexico Feb. 26. It has won 8 of 9 games in 2024 and sits 4th in the FIFA Women’s World Ranking.

South Korea sits 20th. It hasn’t had quite as busy of a 2024, having played 5 games and winning 3 of them. Its lone other loss was a 5-1 defeat against Portugal Feb. 27. Although South Korea lost 4-0 to the USWNT, it didn’t give up its 1st goal until 34 minutes in and did allow just 15 shots in total. It has wins over the Philippines and the Czech Republic so far this year.

USWNT vs. South Korea picks and predictions

Prediction

USWNT 3, South Korea 0

Moneyline (ML)

PASS.

Unfortunately, there’s no value here however one paints it. South Korea lost 4-0 and didn’t even really catch sight of goal Saturday, and the USWNT should again showcase that type of dominance Tuesday.

Couple that with the fact that South Korea was dominated by Portugal, which sits at No. 21 in the FIFA Women’s World Ranking, and there’s no real reason to assume anything other than a USWNT win will be the outcome of the match.

Avoid taking the home side at -1800 though.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 3.5 (-122).

The USWNT did manage 4 goals Saturday, but it did that on just 9 shots on frame and just 15 shots in total.

The high-level scoring just isn’t there like it used to be, and fans were given a real look at the lack of potency in the SheBelieves Cup. In the 8 games prior to Saturday that the USWNT played this year, it scored 3 or fewer in 6 of them.

South Korea didn’t seem too interested in scoring Saturday and has tallied just 4 shots on frame against Portugal, its only other quality opponent this year.

Considering those trends, expect fewer goals, and back UNDER 3.5 (-122).

USWNT vs. Colombia odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s USWNT vs. Colombia odds and lines, with soccer expert picks, predcitions and best bets.

The USWNT welcomes Colombia to Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego Sunday. Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. ET (TNT). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the USWNT vs. Colombia odds, and make our  best soccer bets, picks and predictions.

The USWNT had a disappointing 2023 Women’s World Cup. It barely made it through the group stage, but it lost to Sweden in the Round of 16 in penalty kicks. It was a discouraging finish for the top-ranked country. The USWNT played 2 friendlies against South Africa in September, winning 5-0, and then drew Colombia 0-0 Thursday in Sandy, Utah.

Colombia was among the most surprising teams in the Women’s World Cup. It beat South Korea 2-0 and Germany 2-1 in the group stage. It went on to win its Round of 16 game against Jamaica and ultimately lost 2-1 to England in the quarter-final. It held the USWNT to just 2 shots on target Thursday, displaying that dynamic defense. It ranks 22nd in FIFA Women’s Rankings (USWNT sits 3rd).

USWNT vs. Colombia picks and predictions

Prediction

USWNT 2, Colombia 1

Moneyline (ML)

PASS.

The USWNT has elite talent, but the coaching has seemed to struggling pairing these players together to make a quality on-field product.

At -550, there’s no value taking the USWNT to win outright after a draw Thursday against the same opponent. Given that talent, I would avoid any Colombia-backing play as well.

Carry on to the total for the value in this match.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET UNDER 3.5 (-190).

Colombia’s defense is no joke. It allowed multiple goals to just England in the Women’s World Cup and gave up 2 goals in its prior 4 matches in that event. On Thursday, it allowed just 2 shots on goal and 9 shots in total to the USWNT. There’s no reason not to expect a similar performance here.

The USWNT has a top-tier defense and hasn’t allowed a goal in any of its 3 friendlies following the high-profile event. Even at the World Cup, it allowed just 1 goal in 4 matches. Offensively, the USWNT has scored 5 goals in 3 friendlies over the last 2 months. Getting numerous goals will be a tough order.

Back UNDER 3.5 (-190) here.
