The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top schools for class of 2023 defensive end recruit Kaven Call. Call is ranked as a four-star recruit and is from Apopka, Florida.

The 6-foot-2,  240-pound defensive end plays both football and basketball for Apopka High School. He visited the University of Georgia for the Oct. 2 Arkansas game.

The Dawgs and UCF are the top contenders to land a commitment from Call. Kaven Call has visited UCF a few times.

Rutgers, West Virginia, Indiana, FSU, Arkansas, Auburn and Tennessee are among the numerous college football programs to offer a scholarship to the Apopka star. UGA offered Call a scholarship in May 2021.

Call is rated the No. 24 edge rusher in the class of 2023. He’s the No. 303 prospect overall. Call is powerful for his size and has a spin move in his pass rush arsenal. He’d project as a 3-4 outside linebacker or a 4-3 defensive end at the college level.

The four-star defensive end prospect announced his top schools via his Twitter account:

Call ranks UGA, UCF, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Rutgers, and Mississippi State in his top six schools. We’ll continue to provide updates throughout his recruitment.

Georgia currently has the top-ranked class of 2023 in the country.
