We had a less than spectacular night last night despite the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers winning us money over the Georgia State Panthers, the Virginia Tech Hokies let us down in a big way against the West Virginia Mountaineers. I suppose we should take that loss as a lesson that Metalica + Lane Stadium = not very intimidating. With another day, we have another slate, so let’s dive into what Friday has to offer.

We did not have the best week last week as we ended Saturday at 2-2. The Oregon Ducks slaughtered the BYU Cougars and my assumption that Notre Dame would bounce back was wrong as they are still in the driver seat of the struggle bus after barely winning against the California Bears.

The Oklahoma Sooners held their end of the bargain though as they destroyed the Nebraska Huskers and N.C. State Wolfpack had a nice outing against Texas Tech. Let’s see what damage we can make on Thursday.

We are doing okay with a nice record of 15-10 after finishing last week at 3-3. The Iowa Hawkeyes were once again terrible on offense and the Texas A&M Aggies underachieved out of the gate once more. But thank goodness the Penn State Nittany Lions were out for blood and the USC Trojans can’t be stopped. We bet on two games on Friday, but as of writing, they are not complete. Let’s hope for Florida State, and Air Force and let’s dive into Saturday.

Toledo Rockets vs. Ohio State Buckeyes: odds going up!

Toledo Rockets vs. Ohio State Buckeyes: @Tipico odds going up! #GoBucks

On September 17, the Ohio State Buckeyes (2-0) will kick off their third game of the season against the Toledo Rockets (2-0) at 7:00 p.m. ET in Columbus, Ohio. Ohio State has dominated the MAC going 35-1 against the conference’s current members. The only loss the Buckeyes have ever suffered against the MAC was to Akron in 1894, 12-6.

Our friends at Tipico, our official odds provider opened with Ohio State as a 31.5-point favorite, but it appears money is coming in on the Buckeyes as the spread has risen to -32.5 points. There is still no total on the game, but the spread growing larger is not surprising considering Ohio State is expected to have both Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Julian Fleming return to the line-up.

This is a contest that I took a lot longer of a peek at, considering Ohio State, after seeing the offense roll last week, but this is still a fairly large number for a Buckeye team who has not yet beaten the spread this season. This will be one that I stay away from.

We are currently killing the game with a nice record of 13-8 after finishing last night at 1-1. UCF let us down, but Boise State helped us bounce back to end the night. This Saturday slate of football is absolutely beautiful and features four games that I love. Last week betting on the favorites was a wise move and I am carrying that over today.

Rutgers vs. Wagner: Prediction, point spread, odds, best bet

Rutgers takes on Wagner in home opener Saturday. Check out the lines provided by Tipico, see how you should place your bets

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights play the Wagner Seahawks on Saturday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet at Tipico Sportsbook.

The game starts at 4:00 p.m. E.T. and can be seen on the Big Ten Network.

Rutgers started the season 1-0 after barely scraping by against Boston College for a 22-21 road victory. They knew the ACC squad would be a challenge, but some early sloppy play led to a two score deficit. Rutgers’ offensive line and defense would step up huge in the second half and allow the Scarlet Knights to march back on the back of running backs Kyle Monangai and Al-Shadee Salaam.

Wagner started their season with a loss. The FCS program is currently on a 21 game losing streak and things are not looking up for the Seahawks. Rutgers has a strong history against non-FBS opponents, and don’t expect that to change on Saturday. Look for Rutgers to get out to an early lead, continue to pile on, and get some valuable playing time for their younger players en route to a blowout victory in their home opener. Fans attending the game should plan to get there early and stay late as there are festivities surrounding the contest. Saturday’s game is being billed as the “Back to the Birthplace Game” with a pre-game parade and post-game fireworks.

We are currently killing the game with a nice record of 12-7 after finishing last week at 10-5. We finished the week off strong with an easy bet on the Clemson Tigers. This Friday slate is a little odd, but perhaps our string of luck will continue into Week 2 of the 2022 college football season. We have two match-ups with one featuring a pretty large spread.

After an exciting 3-1 Friday night, we went a whopping 4-0 on Saturday and even placed some cash on the midnight game, which was a win, but we came back down to Earth yesterday as LSU lost outright as a 3.5-point favorite. We are currently sitting at 11-7!

I am in a good mood, but I am not exactly stoked about how large this line is at 23.5, but the Clemson Tigers are 23.5 favorites over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. I am placing money on Clemson. They had a horrible 2021 season but will be looking for revenge in 2022 and it starts today.

We are definitely not getting any closing line value as the line opened at 22 points, but I am willing to risk the difference as it is not moving through any key numbers. Give me the Tigers!
