Broncos Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware performs on ‘The Masked Singer’

It’s DeMarcus Ware!

Demarcus Ware has a belt in two classes.

As a football player, he dominated the trenches en route to a Hall of Fame career.  Apparently, he can dominate the microphone, too.

Ware recently appeared on the hit TV show “The Masked Singer” and performed as “Koala.” Ware performed the 1980’s song “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears.

Everyone was surprised when Ware revealed he was behind the mask.

“It was awesome,” Ware said. “All my life I’ve always wore a mask, but I sacked quarterbacks doing that. And now I put on the koala mask and no one knew who I was, and so the personality of me actually came out. I got to have fun.”

Ware previously sang the national anthem before the NFL’s Hall of Fame Game in 2023. Check out the reveal below of Ware unmasking himself:

Who was unmasked on the season 11 premiere of The Masked Singer?

This comedian and actor surprised everybody.

The new season of The Masked Singer premiered on Fox on Wednesday night, with five of the performers taking the stage. Hits by Olivia Rodrigo, Ne-Yo, Tina Turner, Madonna and Phillip Phillips were tackled by the disguised singers, with three more waiting in the wings to perform next week.

A singer known as “The Book” went last on Wednesday night, singing Ne-Yo’s “So Sick.” After the performance, the mystery star was telling host Nick Cannon and the judges — Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke and newcomer Rita Ora — how excited they were to be on the show when they stunned everyone.

The Book whipped off the costume unexpectedly, revealing the one and only Kevin Hart.

Tom Brady cheekily dismissed the ‘Masked Singer’ conspiracy theory in the most Tom Brady way possible

The dream is unfortunately dead.

The Tom Brady on The Masked Singer dream is, unfortunately for us all, now dead.

One of the biggest stories coming out of NFL training camps over the last week revolved around Brady and his unusual absence from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers camp. The theory, which floated around Reddit and Twitter, postulated that Brady was missing time at camp due to filming the popular anonymous singing competition show, The Masked Singer.

Sadly for NFL fans, Brady debunked the hilariously outlandish — but still very intriguing — theory in a recent tweet on Monday. Quote tweeting an advertisement for his upcoming apparel brand, Brady dismissed the Masked Singer rumors with the most on brand, tongue-in-cheek response ever.

And that’s that then! Surely, even though Brady has since denied the rumors, fans will now calm down a bit, right?

Tom Brady denies he was on ‘The Masked Singer’

Tom Brady took to social media to deny a rumor that he stepped away from training camp to appear on “The Masked Singer.”

Having returned to training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady took to social media to address a rumor regarding his absence from the team.

For those hoping one of the rumors was true, we regret to disappoint you. Brady denied that he was on the FOX series “The Masked Singer.”

But his denial might just raise more questions…

And, honestly, isn’t this exactly what someone who was on “The Masked Singer” do? Deny the rumors until the episode airs?

NFL fans can’t get enough of the Tom Brady filming ‘Masked Singer’ conspiracy theory

The theory everyone’s buzzing about.

Is Tom Brady missing a chunk of Tampa Bay Buccaneers camp because … he’s off filming The Masked Singer?

This is a theory being floated by a few people on the interwebs, both on Reddit and on Twitter (see below), and for so many NFL fans, it makes too much sense.

Brady signed on to broadcast with FOX after his career is over, and the guess-who’s-singing competition show airs on the same network. His pal Gronk sang on the show. Someone found a shooting schedule that lines up with this week.

IT MAKES TOO MUCH SENSE.

This is where I warn that it’s just a theory, one that could be very wrong and something else is going on with Brady.

But there are a lot of people buying in:

We’re obsessed about this theory about why Tom Brady is missing from Buccaneers camp

This is an intriguing theory as to why Brady is missing from Bucs camp right now.

This is the online version of our daily newsletter, The Morning WinSubscribe to get irreverent and incisive sports stories, delivered to your mailbox every morning. Charles Curtis is filling in for Andy Nesbitt.

Where in the world is Tom Brady?

He’s not in Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp. All we know is that he’s attending “a personal matter” and it was something the GOAT and the franchise discussed before camp.

On Thursday, head coach Todd Bowles addressed the absence, saying there was “no definitive date” for him in terms of a return, but he wasn’t concerned.

Sure, you could see it as alarming. Or … something else is afoot.

If it’s not something health- or family-related — and we really, really hope it’s not, and this isn’t something way more serious — and it was previously scheduled?

There are theories floating around Twitter and NFL Reddit, and I can’t stop thinking about this: What if Tom Brady is off filming The Masked Singer?

Think about it, as these theories say: Brady signed to be on-air with FOX Sports when his playing days are over. The mystery singing show airs on … FOX.

The Redditor in question found out there’s a taping of the show on August 20. And then there’s the fact that his buddy Rob Gronkowski has been on, as has Terry Bradshaw (also works for FOX!) … HMMMMM!

Look, if everyone’s wrong about this, it could be more concerning. Let’s hope his absence isn’t over something serious.

Jordan Mailata certainly has plenty of career options post NFL and the former Australian Rugby star could pivot towards a music career after dazzling fans on Fox recently.

The reactions from fans and media on social media were about as expected.

Joe Buck leaves FOX on a strange note

How did Joe Buck pop up on FOX on Wednesday?

Through the magic of television, on the day of Joe Buck’s exit from FOX to ESPN’s “Monday Night Football,” the Emmy Award-winning sportscaster made a final appearance — for now — on his old network.

Timing is everything. Cue “The Masked Singer.”

The Ram was the singer, which could have been a clue it had something to do with football.

Per Eonline.com:

After being eliminated following a duel with Firefly, legendary sports play-by-play announcer Joe Buck was unveiled as the man underneath the Ram’s horns on the March 16 episode of The Masked Singer. Buck is the second contestant to be sent home this season, after Duff Goldman was the first celebrity to get the hook last week.

Ram sang John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” during his one-on-one battle with Firefly, but in the end the judges preferred her version of Ariana Grande’s “God Is a Woman,” and sent Buck packing.

The panel and audience were enthralled but judge Eric Stonestreet was not fooled by his friend.

He’s a far better broadcaster than crooner, don’t you think?
