PHOTOS: Texas A&M Football welcomes 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes over the Easter weekend

While many of us partook in the Easter festivities, Texas A&M Football celebrated the holiday weekend by welcoming a number of recruits from the 2024 and 2025 classes to College Station.

While many of us were reveling in the Easter festivities this weekend, Texas A&M Football celebrated the holiday by welcoming a number of recruits from the 2024 and 2025 classes to College Station over the past few days. Spring football may be drawing to a close and the regular season is still months away, but there’s never a wrong time to invest in the future.

The Maroon and White welcomed a number of recruits on both sides of the ball, which were highlighted by a handful of 4-star talents in the secondary and on the offensive line. The potential future Aggies had a great experience meeting with the coaching staff, observing spring practice, and getting a tour of the facilities.

Check out some of the photos below, and best of luck to all the players as they continue the recruiting process. Hopefully, the College Station experience was one to remember!

2024 4-Star Athlete Terry Bussey has received a prediction to land with Texas A&M

2024 4-star athlete Terry Bussey has received a big prediction from On3 recruiting to land with none other than Texas A&M

We have our first big-time recruiting prediction for the 2024 recruiting class, folks! In the last couple of weeks, rumors have been swirling around 5-star athlete Terry Bussey’s status with the Aggies after his unofficial visit to College Station on Jan. 21st, as On3’s Marshall Levenson has officially submitted his prediction that Terry Bussey will indeed land with Texas A&M.

Out of Timpson High School in Timpson, Texas, Terry Bussey is an all-around stud on the gridiron, while practically playing every postion on the field outside of kicker. Bussey’s high school stats during his 2022 junior season are otherworldly, throwing for 2,177 yards and 26 touchdowns with a 64% completion percentage as the starting quarterback while rushing for 2,596 yards and 46 touchdowns with a 14-yard per rush average. As a two-way player, Bussey recorded over 115 tackles and 5 interceptions with 4 returned for touchdowns as a defensive back, perhaps his best postion fit at the next level.

According to On3, Bussey is ranked as the 2nd Athlete in the 2024 class and ranked 5th in Texas. Bussey’s speed, athleticism, and versatility sets him apart from nearly every other athlete in the class, while 5-10, 180 lbs frame perfectly slots him into either a wide receiver or defensive back role at the FBS level. Just like Ainias Smith’s “do-it-all” ability in his last three seasons with the program, Bussey could very well have a very similar career if he two choose the maroon and white.
