Twitter reacts: 5-star LB commits to Georgia Bulldogs

Five-star linebacker Smael Mondon has committed to the University of Georgia football program.

Five-star linebacker Smael Mondon Jr. is the latest in-state player to commit to the University of Georgia football program. The speedy Paulding County High School linebacker plays football in Dallas, Georgia. He also runs track, which helps him cover large areas of the field and have excellent range in coverage.

Mondon Jr. picked the Georgia Bulldogs over Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, and Florida. He made UGA fans nervous for a minute at his commitment, when he briefly picked up an LSU hat.

Now, Kirby Smart has secured the top three in-state prospects in the class of 2021, each of which is a five-star.
