The Bears have released their inactives ahead of their Week 7 game against the Rams, and it’s good news on the defensive front for Chicago.

The Chicago Bears have released their inactives ahead of their Week 7 game against the Los Angeles Rams, and it’s good news on the defensive front for the Bears.

After nursing a sore back for the last few days, outside linebacker Khalil Mack was questionable heading into Monday night’s game. But, rest assured, Mack was certainly not going to miss this primetime game, and he’s officially active for Chicago.

The Bears will also have cornerback Buster Skrine, who has been dealing with an ankle injury this week, available to them. But the Bears do have Duke Shelley listed as active, which means he’ll be available should there be any setbacks with Skrine.

Safety and special teams ace Sherrick McManis was already ruled out with a hamstring injury that he re-aggravated last week.

Other inactives for the Bears include left guard Arlington Hambright, running back Artavis Pierce, receiver Riley Ridley and outside linebacker Trevis Gipson.

Bears injury report: Khalil Mack, Buster Skrine among those questionable vs. Rams

The Bears are a tad banged up heading into Week 7 against the Rams, where five players are questionable for Monday night.

The Chicago Bears released their final injury report ahead of Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, which features final injury designations.

The Bears are a tad banged up heading into Week 7, and outside linebacker Khalil Mack and cornerback Buster Skrine are among five players that are questionable for Monday night.

Safety Deon Bush, offensive line Rashaad Coward and offensive lineman Jason Spriggs are also questionable. Safety and special teams ace Sherrick McManis has been ruled out.

Mack did not practice on Friday due to a sore back, which head coach Matt Nagy brushed off as nothing other than precautionary measures. He was a limited participant on Saturday, and it would have to be pretty extreme for Mack not to suit up against the Rams.

Skrine was limited on Saturday after missing practice this week with an ankle injury, which is encouraging about his status for Monday.

With Coward questionable for Monday, we could see Alex Bars at left guard against the Rams, where a big challenge in Rams All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald awaits.

The Chicago Bears made some roster moves on the practice squad ahead of Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

The Bears activated offensive lineman Badara Traore from the COVID-19/reserve list and back on the practice squad. Chicago has also re-signed safety Marqui Christian to the practice squad and released linebacker Sharif Finch to make room.

As Brad Biggs noted, the addition of Christian to the practice squad comes on the heels of safety Sherrick McManis being sidelined with a hamstring injury. Look for Christian to possibly be promoted to the active roster on Monday.

Christian joined the Bears in mid-August following a four-year stint with the Los Angeles Rams, where he served as depth at safety. During his time with the Rams, Christian contributed mainly on special teams, but he also saw time on defense, where he totaled 36 tackles.

Christian joined the Bears in mid-August and was reinstated in Week 3 following a two-game suspension to start the year. He was on Chicago’s practice squad before signing with the New York Jets.

Now, Christian is back for his third stint with the Bears, and his timing couldn’t be better.

Bears injury report: Rashaad Coward limited, Akiem Hicks DNP on Thursday

The Bears released their first injury report ahead of Monday night’s game against the Rams, and they still remain relatively healthy.

The Chicago Bears released their first injury report ahead of Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams, and the Bears still remain relatively healthy heading into Week 7, although there were quite a few names listed.

The big names on the injury report that did not practice are cornerback Buster Skrine, who has an ankle injury, and defensive back Sherrick McManis, who re-aggravated his hamstring last Sunday against the Carolina Panthers

One of the surprises on the practice report was defensive tackle Akiem Hicks, who did not practice Thursday due to an illness.

Offensive lineman Rashaad Coward was limited on Thursday with a finger injury. Coward got the start at left guard for the Bears last Sunday against the Panthers, where he had a rough go of it.

Safety Deon Bush, who’s missed the last couple of games due to a hamstring injury, practiced for the first time in a few weeks, although he was limited. Safety DeAndre Houston-Carson has gotten more opportunities in Bush’s absence, where he’s come up with back-to-back game-winning plays against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Panthers.

Linebacker Danny Trevathan, tight end Jimmy Graham and receiver Ted Ginn Jr. all did not practice with a veteran resting day.

Bears final injury report: Deon Bush ruled out, Brent Urban questionable vs. Panthers

There are some injury designations to keep an eye on as the Bears prepare for their Week 6 game against the Panthers.

The Chicago Bears have released their final injury report ahead of Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers, and there’s some designations to keep an eye on heading into Week 6.

The Bears have ruled out Safety Deon Bush for Sunday, as he continues to battle a hamstring injury. He missed last week’s contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well.

Chicago has also listed for four players as questionable against the Panthers, including some players at some key positions. Defensive end Brent Urban, who has been a key contributor on the defensive line, is questionable following limited participation in practice throughout the week.

The Bears also activated defensive tackle John Jenkins off injured reserve, where he served the previous three weeks with a thumb injury. Jenkins has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

Offensive lineman Alex Bars, who filled in at left guard for an injured James Daniels last Thursday, has also been designated as questionable with a shoulder injury. He was a full participant in Thursday and Friday’s practices.

Matt Nagy says he hasn’t decided who will start at left guard for the Bears on Sunday. But it’ll come down to Bars and Rashaad Coward.

Special teams ace and defensive back Sherrick McManis has also been listed as questionable against the Panthers. He’s recovering from a hamstring injury that’s held him out of the last two games.

Bears injury report: Brent Urban limited, Deon Bush DNP on Thursday

The Chicago Bears released their Thursday injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 6 game against the Carolina Panthers.

The Chicago Bears released their Thursday injury report ahead of Sunday’s Week 6 game against the Carolina Panthers, and there was some encouraging news for special teams.

Special teams ace and defensive back Sherrick McManis practiced in full for the first time in three weeks following a hamstring injury suffered against the Atlanta Falcons.

But safety Deon Bush remains sidelined by a similar hamstring injury, which has kept him out of last week’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He didn’t practice on Thursday, and his status for Sunday’s game remains up in the air.

Defensive end Brent Urban was once again limited on Thursday as he deals with a knee injury. Urban has been an important contributor for this Bears defense over the last few weeks, and they’ll certainly need him against an impressive Panthers offense.

The Bears likely won’t have to face running back Christian McCaffrey, who still hasn’t been activated from injured reserve with a high ankle injury. That means they’ll face former Bears running back Mike Davis heading into Sunday.

Bears injury report: Sherrick McManis, Brent Urban limited, Deon Bush DNP on Wednesday

The Bears released their first injury report ahead of Sunday’s game vs. the Panthers, and not much has changed except one limited addition.

Safety Deon Bush did not practice Wednesday as he deals with a hamstring injury of his own.

Defensive tackle Akiem Hicks, linebacker Danny Trevathan, tight end Jimmy Graham and receiver Ted Ginn Jr. also did not practice Wednesday on a resting veteran day.

Week 5 inactives: Darnell Mooney active, Sherrick McManis out vs. Bucs

The Chicago Bears have released their inactives ahead of their Thursday Night Football showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Chicago Bears have released their inactives ahead of their Thursday Night Football showdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The good news is the Bears will be with star rookie receiver Darnell Mooney, who was noted as questionable for the game with a shoulder injury. Mooney, who practiced all week, is officially active against the Bucs.

The bad news? The Bears will be without special teams ace Sherrick McManis, who was listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury suffered a couple of weeks ago in Week 3.

Other inactives for the Bears include safety Deon Bush (hamstring), as well as offensive lineman Arlington Hambright, Nose tackle Daniel McCullers, receiver Riley Ridley and outside linebacker Trevis Gipson.

The big news for the Bucs is that receiver Mike Evans, who didn’t practice this week with an ankle injury, is officially active for this game. Running back Leonard Fournette, who was doubtful for this game, is also active.

The Chicago Bears released their final injury report ahead of their Thursday Night Football contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Safety Deon Bush, who suffered a hamstring injury last Sunday, has been ruled out for Thursday’s game. Meanwhile, safety and special teams ace Sherrick McManis has been ruled doubtful against the Bucs. That leaves the Bears down two reserve safeties for this game.

One of the shocking names on the injury report is rookie receiver Darnell Mooney, who has been declared questionable for Thursday’s game with a shoulder injury. Mooney was listed as a full participant in Wednesday’s walkthrough practice.

For the first time this season, outside linebacker Khalil Mack was a full participant in practice. He had been limited in every practice so far this season and ruled questionable in the first four games. This is the first week where he’s full-go, and on a short week, no less.

The Bears and Bucs kick things off at 7:20 p.m. CT on FOX, NFL Network and Amazon Prime.

Bears injury report: Deon Bush, Sherrick McManis DNP, Khalil Mack limited Tuesday

The Bears released their Tuesday injury report ahead of Thursday’s primetime game against the Buccaneers, and it was more of the same.

The Chicago Bears released their second injury report for the week ahead of Thursday’s primetime contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and there was nothing surprising on the Bears front.

Following a walkthrough on Monday, where injury designations were estimates, Tuesday reflected more of the same. Safeties Deon Bush and Sherrick McManis did not practice with hamstring injuries.

McManis suffered a hamstring injury in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons while Bush suffered a similar injury last Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, which leaves their two reserve safeties’ statuses for Thursday up-in-the-air.

For the fifth straight week, outside linebacker Khalil Mack remains limited in practice with a knee injury. It’ll likely be the same on Wednesday with his game designation likely questionable for Thursday, although there’s a 99.9% chance he’ll be good to go against Tampa Bay.

The Bears will hold one more practice on Wednesday, along with game designations, ahead of Thursday’s primetime contest against the Bucs.
