Branden Jackson returns to Seahawks facility after injury scare

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Branden Jackson was able to return to the team facility after the injury scare during the scrimmage on Saturday.

The Seattle Seahawks got a little bit of good news over the last few days with the return of defensive end Branden Jackson. Jackson was carted off the field and taken away in an ambulance on Saturday after losing consciousness following a collision with tackle Cedric Ogbuehi.

Coach Pete Carroll was able to provide an update on Jackson’s situation during his Zoom press conference with reporters.

“He’s back in the building and with us today, was at meetings today,” Carroll said. “We’ve got to check him out and make sure that we understand that nothing was really injured – he’s just recovering from such a big smack, you know that he got nailed with so we’ll see what that means.”

Carroll did say that Jackson will be further evaluated to make sure there is no structural damage and will likely sit out practice for at least the next couple of days.
