[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Detroit Red Wings (7-9-1) take on the San Jose Sharks (5-10-4) Monday. Puck drop from SAP Center is set for 10:30 p.m. ET (TNT). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NHL odds around the Red Wings vs. Sharks odds and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

Season series: First meeting; tied 1-1 in 2023-24

The Wings enter the Shark Tank losers of 3 of 4. Their last setback was Saturday in a 4-1 loss as -175 underdogs at the LA Kings with the Under (5.5) hitting. C Dylan Larkin scored his 10th goal of the season, but it was a bit too late, trimming the deficit to 3-1 with 1:27 to go. He has 5 goals in 7 November games.

The Sharks lost their third straight Saturday in a 4-3 shootout defeat at the Pittsburgh Penguins. San Jose was a +158 underdog and the Over (6.5) came through. San Jose battled back from a 3-0 deficit in the second period to steal a point by tying it and getting to overtime. LW Tyler Toffoli scored his 7th and 8th goals of the season in the loss. The Sharks return home after going 1-1-2 on a 4-game road trip.

Red Wings at Sharks projected goalies

Cam Talbot (5-3-1, 2.42 GAA, .927 SV%, 1 SO) vs. Mackenzie Blackwood (3-5-0, 3.76 GAA, .863 SV%)

Talbot stopped 37 of 40 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Kings Saturday. He is 3-2-0 with a 1.81 GAA and .941 SV% in 5 November starts. He hasn’t faced San Jose for a couple of years, and he was chased after allowing 4 goals on 7 shots in 25 minutes.

Blackwood came on in relief in the Saturday game against the Pens, and he stopped 25 of 26 shots. He is 1-2-1 with a 1.90 GAA and .947 SV% in 4 games this month. He faced Detroit once last season and was chased after 33 minutes, allowing 4 goals on 20 shots.

Red Wings at Sharks picks and predictions

Prediction

Sharks 3, Red Wings 2

Moneyline

The Sharks have won 2 of the last 5 meetings, and 3 of those went into OT. San Jose is young, and it’s an exciting squad that can light the lamp. This is much closer to a pick ’em for me, and I’ll take the value with SHARKS (+125).

Puck line/Against the spread

BET TYLER TOFFOLI OVER 2.5 SHOTS ON GOAL (-125). He’s coming off a 2-goal game, and he’ll be feeling good. He has 4+ shots in 2 of the last 3 games. It’s a fair value for me.

Over/Under

Detroit is 7-10-0 O/U, and San Jose is 7-10-2. I like the way both goaltenders are performing this month. Neither offense is really clicking.

BET UNDER 6 (-110), but go easily here.

San Jose Sharks at New Jersey Devils odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s San Jose Sharks at New Jersey Devils odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The San Jose Sharks (4-9-2) take on the New Jersey Devils (10-5-2) Sunday. Puck drop from the Prudential Center is set for 7 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NHL odds around the Sharks vs. Devils odds and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

Season series: First meeting; split last season 1-1

The Sharks swim into Jersey after a 3-2 homestand. Their latest was a 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild Thursday. No. 1 overall pick C Macklin Celebrini had his second and third goals of the season in the affair.

The Devils won their third straight with a 4-3 OT winner at the New York Islanders Saturday. C Jack Hughes scored his sixth and seventh goals, including the game-winner. Hughes has 21 points in 17 games, and provided he stays healthy, could finally be having that monstrous Hart Trophy kind of season.

  • Puck line (PL)/Against the spread (ATS): Sharks +1.5 (+115) | Devils -1.5 (-135)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 6.5 (O: -105 | U: -115)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4132″ ]

Sharks at Devils projected goalies

Mackenzie Blackwood (2-4-2, 3.52 GAA, .893 SV%) vs. Jake Allen (3-1-1, 2.60 GAA, .904 SV%, 2 SO)

Blackwood was solid in his last start Saturday, making 25 saves on 28 shots in a 3-2 loss to Vancouver. He has allowed 2+ goals in each of his 8 starts this season. Blackwood made 1 appearance against his former team in a 7-2 laugher last season. He stopped all 13 shots he saw in relief.

We’re not in Detroit, but will the real Jake Allen please stand up? In 3 of his 5 starts, he has 1 goal allowed combined. In the other 2 starts, he allowed 4 and 8 goals. He hasn’t faced the Sharks in a couple of years and was 1-1-0 with a 2.01 GAA and .935 SV% in ’22-23.

Sharks at Devils picks and predictions

Prediction

Sharks 4, Devils 3

Moneyline

Shooters shoot, right? Jersey has won 5 of 6, but they’re on a back-to-back against a young team that has been pretty good at goal suppression. Other than the Wild scoring 5 times last time out, the Sharks held opponents to 1, 3, 2 and 2 goals the last 4 games.

Not only that, the Sharks won in this building last year 6-3 as +373 dogs. In fact, they’ve won 2 of the last 3 in Jersey, and the Sharks haven’t exactly been apex predators on the ice.

Me personally, I’m taking the PL no matter what. If you want to get real frisky, take the SHARKS +290 or just go with the PL.

Puck line/Against the spread

As mentioned, I’m all over the SHARKS +1.5 (+115) here. This is the perfect happy middle ground because you can go big with the +290 ML or play it safe and get a goal of insurance while still potentially getting plus-money.

The Sharks have allowed 4 empty-net goals thus far, which isn’t terrible for a 4-9-2 team. Also keep in mind that Blackwood played for Jersey the first 5 years of his career. This is a bit of a revenge spot for the 27-year-old.

Over/Under

The Sharks are 5-8-2 O/U thus far, and the Devs are 8-8-1. The Over has cashed the last 3 meetings between the clubs.

With this being the back end of a back-to-back for Jersey, and my lean toward the Sharks, I like the OVER 6.5 (-105). I would probably wait for the puck to drop and for either plus-money at 6.5 or a juiced Over 5.5, though.

On Tuesday, the Sharks opened a 5-game homestand with a  4-2 triumph over Los Angeles Kings. A San Jose club that opened its season 0-7-2 has collected back-to-back victories, something it had not done since Jan. 22-23.

Blackhawks at Sharks projected goalies

Petr Mrazek (3-5-0, 3.04 GAA, .896 SV%) vs. Mackenzie Blackwood (1-3-2, 3.89 GAA, .888 SV%)

Mrazek started Monday’s game and made 24 stops while allowing 1 even-strength and 1 power-play goal. He started 3 games against San Jose last season, clocking a fine .926 SV%.

Blackhawks at Sharks picks and predictions

Prediction

Blackhawks 4, Sharks 3

Moneyline

Chicago has beaten San Jose 5 straight times since February of the 2022-23 season.

The Blackhawks have shown some improved ability in 5-on-5 analytics, and their scoring-chance and high danger numbers are trending the right way over recent games despite having won just once since Oct. 19.

The Sharks have been a heavily penalized club so far. Only 5 teams have been tagged with more average penalty minutes per game than San Jose’s 11.0. In the Oct. 17 meeting at the United Center, Chicago went 2-of-7 on the power play. And San Jose has been yielding a slew of good looks from the slot lately.

Chicago is on the road 2 times zones west, but it also has a rest advantage in this matchup.

BACK THE BLACKHAWKS (-145).

Puck line/Against the spread

Three games in Chicago’s 5-game streak against San Jose have gone past regulation. PASS on trying to edge the ‘Hawks by with a cushion.

Over/Under

The Over is 5-1-1 over the last 7 series meetings and has hit in 3 straight ‘Hawks-Sharks games in San Jose.

Blackwood’s even-strength numbers (.892 SV%) have not been encouraging. Extra-man opportunities should be plentiful.

BACK THE OVER 6 (-110).

Kings at Sharks projected goalies

David Rittich (3-2-0, 3.09 GAA, .874 SV%) vs. Mackenzie Blackwood (1-3-2, 3.89 GAA, .888 SV%)

San Jose Sharks at LA Kings odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s San Jose Sharks at LA Kings odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The San Jose Sharks (0-5-2) take on the LA Kings (3-2-2) at Crypto.com Arena Thursday. Puck drop is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NHL odds around the Sharks vs. Kings odds and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

Season series: First meeting; Kings won 3-1 in 2023-24

The Sharks are still looking for their 1st victory in regulation. After a promising start in their Oct. 10 season opener, holding a 4-1 lead after 2 periods against the visiting St. Louis Blues, a 3rd-period and overtime collapse led to a 5-4 loss and seemed to knock this young team off course. Since then, San Jose is 0-5-1, with a total of just 9 goals, or 1.5 goals per game (GPG).

San Jose saw No. 1 overall pick C Macklin Celebrini score a goal while adding an assist against the Blues, but he hasn’t played since due to a lower-body injury.

The Kings had a 7-game road odyssey to begin the season as renovations were being made to Crypto.com Arena. So, LA finally gets to have its home opener. The Kings were a respectable 3-2-2 in the road trip, while averaging a healthy 3.1 GPG.

Sharks at Kings projected goalies

Mac Blackwood (0-2-2, 4.09 GAA, .896 SV%) vs. David Rittich (2-2-0, 3.39 GAA, .859 SV%)

Blackwood has alternated poor starts and good starts so far. In the Oct. 10 loss to the Blues and an 8-3 setback at the Winnipeg Jets Friday, he allowed 5 goals in each outing — Blackwood was pulled 1:46 into 2nd period vs. the Jets. In a 3-2 SO loss at the Dallas Stars Oct. 15 and a 3-1 defeat at the Anaheim Ducks Tuesday, he conceded just 2 goals apiece but received very little offensive support.

Rittich allowed just 6 total goals in his first 3 outings, which included a pair of 4-1 victories at the Montreal Canadians Oct. 17 and at Anaheim Sunday. However, he was pounded for 6 goals on 30 shots in a 6-1 setback against the Vegas Golden Knights Tuesday in his last start.

Sharks at Kings picks and predictions

Prediction

Kings 4, Sharks 1

Moneyline

The Kings (-350) are overwhelming favorites in the home opener, and laying 3½ times the potential return is not a recommended option. That’s just way too much risk for not nearly enough reward.

While the Sharks (+260) were pretty poor last season, the final 2 meetings with the Kings resulted in a pair of 1-goal games, and 4 of the past 6 in the series have been decided by a single goal, including 2 shootouts, so this battle of California can be fierce.

PASS.

Puck line/Against the spread

The KINGS -1.5 (-120) are a little better price laying the goal and a half in their home opener. The building should be jumping, and LA has played some pretty good hockey to this point.

The same cannot be said for the Sharks as they’re off to another dreadful start.

Over/Under

UNDER 6 (-120) is worth a look.

In 3 of 4 meetings last season, and 6 of the past 9 since March 12, 2022, the total has gone Under in this series.

The toothless Sharks offense attack has managed just 9 total goals in the past 6 outings, and the Under is 4-1-1 in the span.

For the Kings, the Under has cashed in 4 of 7 games, including 2 of the previous 3. The losing team in Los Angeles games this season has managed 2 or fewer goals.

Colorado Avalanche at San Jose Sharks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s Colorado Avalanche at San Jose Sharks odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The Colorado Avalanche (1-4-0) take on the San Jose Sharks (0-3-2) Sunday. Puck drop from the SAP Center at San Jose is set for 8 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NHL odds around the Avalanche vs. Sharks odds and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

Season series: First meeting; The Avs won 3-0 last season

The Avs secured their 1st win of the season with a thrilling 4-3 OT home win against the Anaheim Ducks Friday. The Avs entered as -270 favorites looking like a shoo-in to finally get their 1st win and dominated in the 1st period. They outshot the Ducks 18-8, yet found themselves down 2-0. They battled back with 3 straight goals before ultimately folding with 13 seconds left in regulation. C Nathan MacKinnon ended it with just 41 seconds to go in OT.

The Sharks remained winless after the Winnipeg Jets paid homage to the late Dikembe Mutumbo and finger-wagged “No, no, not today!” The Jets pummeled the visiting Sharks 8-3 Friday, covering as heavy -399 favorites. San Jose RW Tyler Toffoli scored his team-leading 4th goal of the season in the loss.

Avalanche at Sharks projected goalies

Justus Annunen (0-1-0, 4.69 GAA, .765 SV%) vs. Vitek Vanecek (0-2-0, 2.63 GAA, .892 SV%)

G Alexandar Georgiev (1-3-0, 4.99 GAA, . 811 SV%) could get the start here, but he has started all 5 games. Annunen has seen spot duty in 2 games, stopping 11 of 13 shots in 1 game and 2 of 4 in another.

Vanecek started Thursday’s 4-2 loss at the Chicago Blackhawks and stopped 23 of 27 shots. He was pressed into duty Friday after G MacKenzie Blackwood (0-1-2, 4.88 GAA, .875 SV%) allowed 5 goals to Winnipeg in the first 22 minutes. Vanecek stopped 15 of 18 shots in relief. Vanecek was 1-1-0 with a 4.05 GAA and .884 SV% against Colorado last season.

Avalanche at Sharks picks and predictions

Prediction

Avalanche 6, Sharks 3

Moneyline

It’s story time. I watched Friday’s Avs-Ducks game waiting for Anaheim to get a lead to drop Colorado’s ML from an unplayable level at -270. When the Ducks got ahead 1-0, I bet Colorado at -115. The Avs went down 2-0 and made me sweat a little bit, but they eventually prevailed.

That’s the only way you can play this one as well. The Avs (-300) should beat the Sharks, but you can’t risk 3 times your return for it.

Instead, I’m going with CASEY MITTELSTADT OVER 2.5 SHOTS (+120). He has goals in 4 of 5 games and at least 3 shots in 4 of 5, too.

Puck line/Against the spread

I’m not touching an Avs puck line (-1.5, -110) at minus odds right now. The Sharks are without No. 1 pick C Macklin Celebrini (lower body), but they are hungry and on home ice.

PASS.

Over/Under

Both of these teams are battling significant goalie issues. Colorado is 4-0-1 O/U, and San Jose is 2-2-1. The Over is 5-4-1 in the last 10 head-to-head meetings, and we’ve seen 7+ goals in 3 of 4 in San Jose.

TAKE OVER 6.5 (-110).

Sharks at Jets picks and predictions

Prediction

Jets 3, Sharks 1

Moneyline

PASS.

There is better value on the Jets’ spread.

Puck line/Against the spread

BET JETS -1.5 (-135).

Winnipeg has allowed just 2 goals through 3 games this season while scoring 10 in that same span. It faces a Sharks team that has scored 2 goals or fewer in each of its last 3 games and has yet to win a game this season. With home-ice advantage, the Jets have good value to cover the spread.

Over/Under

BET UNDER 5.5 (-120).

San Jose has struggled offensively to start the season, scoring 4 goals combined in each of its last 3 games. It has also limited opponents to 3 goals or fewer in 2 of its last 3 games, failing to hit the Over 3 games in a row. The Jets have also failed to hit the Over 3 games in a row after scoring 2 goals in back-to-back games and limiting opponents to 2 goals combined in their last 3 games.

St. Louis Blues at San Jose Sharks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s St. Louis Blues at San Jose Sharks odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”4141″ ]

The St. Louis Blues (1-0-0) take on the San Jose Sharks (0-0-0) Thursday. Puck drop from SAP Center is set for 10:30 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s NHL odds around the Blues vs. Sharks odds and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

Season series: First meeting; Sharks won 3-0 last year

The Blues showed good signs and bad in their season-opening, 3-2 road win over the Seattle Kraken Tuesday. They started quick, hit a goal post and looked lively in the first couple of minutes. However, they were dominated for much of the first 2 periods. G Jordan Binnington stood on his head as the team was routinely pinned in its D-zone. And then things got physical. Down 2-0 in the 2nd period, RW Nathan Walker and C Radek Faksa stirred the pot, got the Blues on the power play, and RW Jordan Kyrou took the game over. The Blues scored 3 goals in 1:55, 2 by Kyrou, and cruised to a 3-2 win.

The Sharks made some waves this offseason drafting C Macklin Celebrini 1st overall and signing C Alex Wennberg and RW Tyler Toffoli and trading for D Jake Walman. The Sharks also punched the Blues in the mouth last year, winning all 3 games against them. It’s something the Blues are talking about in the locker room as they seek to turn the tables on some of the bad losses from a year ago.

Blues at Sharks projected goalies

Jordan Binnington (1-0-0, 2.00 GAA, .938 SV%) vs. MacKenzie Blackwood (10-25-4, 3.45 GAA, .899 SV%, 2 SO in ’23-24).

How good was Binner in the season opener? He saved 1.7 goals above expected and really kept the team in it long enough for it to find its stride. He only faced the Sharks once last season, and he was good in relief, stopping 13 of 14 in a 5-1 game that was never competitive.

Blackwood faced the Blues once last season, and it was a 35-save shutout that really kicked the Blues’ playoff chances in the junk. He allowed 4 goals on 35 shots in a 4-2 defeat while with New Jersey in his only other start against them in ’22-23.

Blues at Sharks picks and predictions

Prediction

Blues 4, Sharks 3

Moneyline

There has been a lot of talk in St. Louis media about how the Blues played down to their competition last year and got embarrassed by teams like San Jose. Should they win this game? Absolutely. Am I willing to risk -160 on it? Absolutely not.

Instead, I’m going with PAVEL BUCHNEVICH OVER 0.5 POINTS (-150). Buchy is centering the line that Kyrou is on, and he’ll be on the top power play unit. He had a point in 2 of 3 games against San Jose last year, which is saying something considering the Blues scored 3 freakin’ goals combined in the 3 games.

Puck line/Against the spread

I’m willing to juice it up with the SHARKS +1.5 (-175). They outscored the Blues 12-3 in last season’s 3 meetings. The Blues are still mixing in new parts that need to gel, and they weren’t very close to parking an empty-netter in Game 1.

Over/Under

While the bulk of this handicap has been on the recent futility from the Blues in this matchup, they have still won 7 of the last 10 meetings. All of those 7 wins were by 2+ goals, and the Over is 4-5-1 in that stretch. The Over was 0-2-1 in this matchup last year, but I don’t expect St. Louis to take this team lightly. The OVER 6 (-110) is cashing.

San Jose Sharks at Washington Capitals odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Sunday’s San Jose Sharks at Washington Capitals odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The San Jose Sharks (0-7-1) travel to meet the Washington Capitals (3-3-1) Sunday at Capital One Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Below, we analyze FanDuel Sportsbook’s lines around the Sharks vs. Capitals odds, and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

The Sharks were blanked in Raleigh by the Carolina Hurricanes on Friday night, the team’s 2nd consecutive shutout loss. San Jose hasn’t cobbled together a goal in its last 7 periods of play.

The Capitals earned a 3-2 shootout win over the visiting Minnesota Wild on Friday night, their 2nd consecutive win. Washington is just 1-1 as a favorite this season.

The last time these teams met in D.C., the Sharks skated away with a 4-1 victory as underdogs (+154) while the Under (6.5) cashed on Super Bowl Sunday last season. The road team has won 4 straight in the series, and 8 of the previous 9 meetings.

  • Moneyline (ML): Sharks +172 (bet $100 to win $172) | Capitals -210 (bet $210 to win $100)
  • Puck line (PL)/Against the spread (ATS): Sharks +1.5 (-142) | Capitals -1.5 (+116)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 6.5 (O: +114 | U: -140)

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3012″ ]

Sharks at Capitals projected goalies

Kaapo Kahkonen (0-3-0, 3.16 GAA, .907 SV%) vs. Darcy Kuemper (2-2-1, 3.29 GAA, .890 SV%)

Kahkonen deserved a better fate against Carolina on Friday. He shut everybody in a black sweater down except Hurricanes LW Teuvo Teravainen, who scored a power-play goal and 2 even-strength goals to provide the offense. If San Jose hadn’t been held scoreless in 7 straight periods, Kahkonen’s win-loss record might look much better.

Kuemper is confirmed for Sunday’s matinee game. He stopped a season-high 39 shots in Friday’s 3-2 SOW against the Wild, snapping an 0-2-1 skid where he allowed 13 goals on 74 shots.

Sharks at Capitals picks and predictions

Prediction

Sharks 3, Capitals 2

Moneyline

The SHARKS (+172) are not only due to simply light the lamp, but this team is on track to get a win.

You can’t back the Capitals (-210), costing you more than 2 times your potential return. That’s too much risk and not enough reward. And oddly enough, the road team has won 8 of the past 9 meetings in this series, including 3 of the past 4 visits for San Jose to the nation’s capital.

Puck line/Against the spread

The SHARKS +1.5 (-142) are not priced out of line if you want a little insurance because you just cannot bring yourself to take a winless San Jose side straight up.

The Capitals -1.5 (+116) are 0-2 this season on the puck line as favorites, including last time out against the Wild.

Over/Under

UNDER 6.5 (-140) will cost you a little extra, but it’s worth it.

Again, San Jose hasn’t scored since the 2nd period 3 games ago in Florida. The Sharks are on a 3-0 Under run, while going 4-0-1 in the past 5 outings, and 6-1-1 in 8 games overall. Washington has hit the Under in 3 of the past 4 games and 5 of 7 outings overall this season.

Boston Bruins at San Jose Sharks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Thursday’s Boston Bruins at San Jose Sharks odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Boston Bruins (2-0-0) and San Jose Sharks (0-2-1) meet Thursday at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. Puck drop is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Below, we analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Bruins vs. Sharks odds, and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

The Bruins have picked up where they left off in the 2022-23 regular season. Boston racked up a record 65 wins and 135 points, and it has 2 wins and 4 points in just 2 games.

The Sharks have managed to pick up just 1 point out of a possible 6. It looked like San Jose had a good chance to win against the Carolina Hurricanes Tuesday, leading 3-2 after 2 periods. However, the Sharks were trampled for 4 goals in a 6-minute span, and the Canes doubled up San Jose 6-3 as the Over (6) cashed.

Bruins at Sharks projected goalies

Linus Ullmark (1-0-0, 1.00 GAA, .952 SV%) vs. Kaapo Kahkonen (0-1-0, 4.00 GAA, .875 SV%)

Ullmark allowed just a single goal on 21 shots in a 3-1 victory against the Chicago Blackhawks last Wednesday. It’s been a slow go, splitting the 2 starts so far with Jeremy Swayman. This will be just his 2nd start after a week off.

Kahkonen coughed up 4 goals on 32 shots in a 4-1 setback Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights on home ice, and now he faces another high-powered offense. He lost his only start against VGK last season, allowing 2 goals on 38 shots, but he received no support.

Bruins at Sharks picks and predictions

Prediction

Bruins 4, Sharks 1

Moneyline

The Bruins (-275) will cost you nearly 3 times your potential return, and that’s way too expensive, especially on the road. While, on paper, it’s difficult to envision a scenario where the high-flying B’s will fall to the lowly Sharks (+220), the risk is way too much for the reward.

AVOID.

Puck line/Against the spread

The BRUINS -1.5 (-110) are a decent play on the puck line. The B’s are 1-1 as a favorite on the puck line, cashing Wednesday against Chicago, although it failed to cover Saturday against Nashville.

On the flip side, the Sharks +1.5 (-110) have cashed just once in 3 games on the puck line, all as an underdog. Boston is a strong play laying the goal and a half, and the ALTERNATE LINE – BRUINS -2.5 (+145) at plus-money is worth playing lightly, too.

Over/Under

UNDER 6 (+100) is a decent play at even-money, as it isn’t hard to envision the Bruins scoring, but where are the Sharks goals going to come from against Ullmark?

The Under hit in the 1st 2 games for the Sharks, but the Over cashed last time out against the Hurricanes. The Under is 2-0 in both games for the B’s, too.
