Alabama lands in top 3 for elite, 2025 4-star WR Quanell X Farrakhan Jr.

Alabama is one of three schools that were listed as a finalist to land the talented 2025 four-star wide receiver.

The Alabama football program has already gotten off to a hot start in the 2025 recruiting cycle. Thus far, the Crimson Tide have landed eight commitments. With plenty more to come, Alabama received some good news on Sunday afternoon. Recently, four-star wide receiver Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. listed Alabama in his top three alongside the Texas A&M Aggies and Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Farrakhan Jr. took an unofficial visit to Alabama several weekends ago. He has been on the Crimson Tide’s radar since the new coaching staff was put in place. The Texas native is highly-regarded and rightfully so. During his junior season, Farrakhan Jr. reeled in 52 receptions for 820 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Alabama is right in the thick of things to land Farrakhan Jr. It would not come as much of a surprise to see Farrkhan Jr. end up in Alabama’s 2025 recruiting class. There is certainly mutual interest between him and the Alabama coaching staff.

Report: Texas A&M set to host 2025 4-star WR Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. this upcoming weekend

According to Aggies Today, The Woodlands High School 4-star wideout Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. will be taking a trip to Aggieland this weekend.

As the first month of 2024 begins to come to an end, the Texas A&M football program is starting to focus on recruiting graduates from the high school Class of 2025.

One of the top prospects from that class is reportedly visiting College Station this upcoming weekend. According to Aggies Today, 4-star wide receiver Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. will be taking a trip to Aggieland at the end of this week.

Farrakhan is 6-foot, 170 pounds and attends The Woodlands High School in Texas. He currently has 23 offers and has yet to take an official visit according to 247Sports.

All of the heavy hitters in the SEC have already offered Farrakhan including the Aggies, Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. Other notable universities include Florida State, Houston, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, SMU, TCU, Texas State, UTSA, Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern.

If Farrakhan chooses Texas A&M, he will be primarily instructed by head coach Mike Elko, offensive coordinator & quarterbacks coach Collin Klein and co-offensive coordinator and wideouts coach Holmon Wiggins.

Texas A&M offers 2025 4-Star WR out of The Woodlands (TX)

Texas A&M and head coach Mike Elko have fielded an offer to 2025 4-star wide receiver Quanell X Farrakhan Jr.

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is slowly but surely taking shape. New head coach Mike Elko has already hosted a bevy of talented prospects during last weekend’s junior day, creating important relationships that could pay dividends in the coming months.

As of this week, Elko and his staff have set their sights on 2025 four-star wide receiver Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. out of The Woodlands, Texas, receiving an offer from the Aggies on Thursday. Already receiving 20-plus offers, Farrakahn is already predicted to land with Penn State.

According to 247Sports, Farrakhan is currently positioned as the 252nd-ranked player in the 2025 cycle, the 28th-ranked wide receiver prospect, and the 36th-ranked player in Texas. Noted for his versatility in the backfield, Farrakhan is coming off a highly productive 2023 junior campaign, recording 100 yards and 5 touchdowns on the ground, coupled with 820 yards and 12 touchdowns through the air.

For his career, Farrakhan has already amassed 2,086 receiving yards, 330 rushing yards, and 35 total touchdowns from 2021-2023.

Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to an elite four-star wide receiver from the Lone Star State

Michigan State football has extended a scholarship offer to an elite four-star wide receiver from the Lone Star State.

Four-star wide receiver Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. announced on Thursday that he’s received a scholarship offer from the Spartans. Farrakhan hails from The Woodlands, Texas, and is a prospect that has picked up numerous big-time offers already.

Farrakhan ranks as the No. 24 wide receiver and No. 175 overall prospect in 247Sports’ composite rankings for the 2024 class. He holds offers from 15 schools, according to 247Sports. Some of the notable programs to extend him an offer are Michigan State, Michigan, Penn State, Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia, Houston, Ole Miss, Nebraska, TCU and Tennessee.

Farrakhan is currently projected to end up at Penn State, according to 247Sports. But there’s plenty of time left in the recruiting cycle so we will see if the Spartans can make it up his list of schools before he announces a commitment.

Georgia makes top-five for 4-star WR

Georgia made the top-five for 4-star WR Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. this week

Four-star 2025 wide receiver Quanell X Farrakhan Jr. announced his top five schools earlier this week and included the Georgia Bulldogs.

The schools to make the cut were Tennessee, Florida State, TCU, Penn State and Georgia.

At 6 feet, 2 inches and 180 pounds, Farrakhan hails from The Woodlands, Texas.

According to Rivals’ player rankings, Farrakhan ranks as the No. 33 overall player in the class of 2025.

He was the No. 1 player in the state of Arkansas before his transfer to The Woodlands this past season.

In 2021, his freshman year, Farrakhan produced nearly 1,000 total yards and 11 total touchdowns. As a sophomore in 2022, he recorded 678 receiving yards and 10 total touchdowns.

According to Rivals, Farrakhan will visit LSU this weekend as he continues to consider teams outside of his top five. He visited TexasTexas A&M and Houston last weekend.
