NFL announces skills challenges for 2025 Pro Bowl

The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will feature a relay race, dodgeball, tug-of-war and more.

Peyton Manning (AFC) and Eli Manning (NFC) are returning to coach the 2025 Pro Bowl Games this season and the NFL recently announced the skills challenges that will take place in Orlando.

In addition to a flag football game on Sunday, Feb. 2, the following challenges will happen before the game, via a press release from the NFL:

Thursday, Jan. 30:

  • Passing The Test: Quarterbacks try to hit targets at various distances around the field worth different point values in 40 seconds. Before the challenge, each quarterback will select a Pro Bowl Games teammate to answer five trivia questions about current Pro Bowl players. For every correct answer, the quarterback gets an additional 10 seconds. The winner of the competition is the team with the quarterback who scores the most points.
  • Satisfying Catches presented by SNICKERS®: One wide receiver, tight end and defensive back from each conference will compete in a challenge obstacle course, including catches from a jugs machine at three different distances, to test every aspect of catching a football. Each teammate will complete the course back-to-back with the lowest combined time winning the challenge.
  • Relay Race: A simultaneous relay-style event where four players from each conference complete a 40-yard dash before handing a football to the next athlete on their team, continuing until the fourth and final leg crosses the finish line. The conferences will compete in three rounds, with the fastest team winning.
  • Helmet Harmony: A game show to test player knowledge of their teammates, with every correct answer worth one point. The team with the most correct answers wins.
  • Dodgeball presented by Bud Light: A three-round tournament of classic dodgeball featuring six teams of five players. Teams will be a mix of AFC offensive, defensive and special teams players competing against a mix of NFC offensive, defensive and special teams players.

Sunday, Feb. 2:

  • Punt Perfect: Two players (one punter, one non-punter) from each conference punt from the 35-yard line, attempting to place as many punts as possible into a set of six buckets in the end zone. Each bucket is worth one point, with every fifth punt worth three points. The two players with the highest combined score will be the winners.
  • The Great Football Race: Six players from each conference will face off in a relay race consisting of five different challenges, culminating with a sled push. The team to cross the finish line first wins.
  • Tug-of-War: A five-on-five demonstration of teamwork, strength and strategy, and positioned above a foam pit, players are challenged to pull backwards on the rope, attempting to move the opposing team in their direction. The competition will be the best of three, and the winner who pulls the opposing team into the foam pit twice wins.

Fans can vote for the Pro Bowl through Dec. 23. The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will be held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando in February. The Denver Broncos who have two players who appear to be locks to make it.

3 Seahawks in Top 10 positional 2025 Pro Bowl Games voting

3 Seahawks in Top 10 positional 2025 Pro Bowl Games voting

The 2025 NFL Pro Bowl Games will take place in Orlando early February. The 8-6 Seattle Seahawks currently have three players within the top 10 of positional voting. The following Seahawks are receiving fan recognition to potentially participate in this year’s annual all-star event.

Julian Love (fifth overall, third in NFC)

Versatile safety Julian Love has been his usual consistent self for Mike Macdonald’s defense this season. The former Notre Dame standout has recorded a team-high 96 tackles, eight pass breakups, and two interceptions this year. Love is versatile, playing both near the line of scrimmage, and on the back-end. He’s attempting to make his second consecutive Pro Bowl appearance.

Coby Bryant (10th overall, seventh in NFC)

Coby Bryant has emerged as an unlikely difference-maker for Aden Durde’s secondary throughout the 2024 campaign. The ex Cincinnati Bearcat began the season playing one total defensive snap in Seattle’s opening two contests. Injuries and improved play have made him a lineup mainstay since Week 7 forward. Bryant has three interceptions, five PBUs, and a defensive TD this season.

Leonard Williams (fifth overall, third in NFC)

Dominant defensive linemen Leonard Williams certainly deserves to make his second career Pro Bowl appearance. Williams has seven sacks in 13 regular-season appearances. The Seahawks don’t regret acquiring him from the New York Giants in 2023 in exchange for second-and-fifth-round picks.

One Cardinals player taking early lead in Pro Bowl Games voting

Baker could be on his way to his sixth consecutive Pro Bowl.

Fan voting for this year’s Pro Bowl Games has begun and one Arizona Cardinals player has taken an early lead at his position.

It should be no surprise that it is safety Budda Baker.

Baker is the leading vote-getter at strong safety in the NFC, the league announced this week.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson leads all players in fan votes with 44,681, followed by Ravens running back Derrick Henry (40,729 votes), Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (40,602 votes), Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen (36,574 votes) and Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs (35.637 votes).

The Lions, Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs are the three teams whose players have received the most fan votes.

Baker is having a fine season and it would be no surprise to see him make a sixth straight Pro Bowl.

Fan voting continues until Dec. 23.

Seahawks have one active player in top 10 Pro Bowl voting

Seahawks have one active player in top 10 Pro Bowl voting

The Seattle Seahawks have won three consecutive contests and currently sit atop the NFC West. Naturally, several of Mike Macdonald’s players are earning Pro Bowl consideration. As of Monday, following one week of fan voting, the Seahawks had two players among the top 10 in their position. They are safety Julian Love (fifth overall, third in the NFC) and special teams returner Laviska Shenault Jr. (fourth overall, fourth in the NFC).

Well, awkwardly, the Seahawks released Shenault Jr. from his contract on Monday, making Love their only active player in the top 10 of Pro Bowl voting at his position.

Shenault Jr. put forth a truly disastrous performance against the New York Jets that easily could have swung the result the Jets’ way. After the other struggling returner Dee Williams fumbled a kick off, Shenault muffed a kick of his own. He was able to recover, but his error set the Seahawks’ offense back at their own 12 yard line.

Just minutes later, the Jets scored a special teams touchdown via a 99-yard kickoff return. Shenault had an opportunity to redeem himself. Instead, he muffed a second consecutive return, and this time the ball was recovered by the Jets at Seattle’s 38 yard line, ironically leading to Leonard Williams’ historic 92-yard pick six return TD.

Love has been outstanding for the Seahawks throughout 2024. The versatile safety has recorded 82 tackles and is en route to a third consecutive 100-tackle campaign. Love has also added two interceptions and seven pass breakups to his defensive totals. He deserves Pro Bowl consideration.

Jayden Daniels leads Pro Bowl voting among NFC QBs: Where’s Terry McLaurin?

Jayden Daniels leads NFC QBs in Pro Bowl voting. Where are some other Commanders ranked?

Despite a recent three-game losing streak, it’s been a dream season for the Washington Commanders. After going 4-13 last season, the Commanders have eight wins on the season — with four games remaining — and are firmly in the NFC playoff picture.

Outside of general manager Adam Peters and head coach Dan Quinn, sensational rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels leads the way. The No. 2 overall pick from the 2024 NFL draft has completed almost 70% of his passes for 2,819 yards, with 15 touchdowns, six interceptions, 590 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns.

Daniels has set numerous NFL rookie records this season, even a couple of NFL records, and has won the Rookie of the Week award several times. So, it’s no surprise that Daniels is ranked as the No. 1 quarterback in the NFC in fan voting for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. Daniels is ranked fourth among NFL quarterbacks.

Who are some of the other Commanders ranked in the fan voting for their various positions?

  • WR Terry McLaurin: 4th among NFL WRs
  • C Tyler Biadasz: 9th among NFL centers
  • LB Bobby Wagner: 4th among NFL ILBs
  • LB Dante Fowler Jr: 5th among NFL OLBs
  • LB Frankie Luvu: 9th among NFL OLBs
  • S Jeremy Chinn: 8th among NFL safeties
  • S Jeremy Reaves: 9th among special teams players

To vote for the Pro Bowl, you can go here: https://www.commanders.com/pro-bowl-games/vote/

Or here: https://www.nfl.com/pro-bowl-games/vote/

You can also vote on social media:

  • Social voting — During the final two weeks of voting (Dec. 9 – Dec. 23), fans can vote directly on “X” (formerly Twitter) by tweeting the first and last name of the player, tagging the player’s official Twitter handle or creating a hashtag including the player’s first and last name. All three of these methods must include the hashtag: #ProBowlVote. During the final two days (Dec. 22 – Dec. 23), social votes will count as double.

From the NFL:

Player selections will be determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches, with each group’s vote counting as one-third toward determining the all-star players who will be selected to this year’s Pro Bowl Games. The NFL is the only sports league that combines voting by fans, coaches and players to determine its Pro Bowl teams. NFL players and coaches will cast their votes on Friday, Dec. 27.

The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will be held in Orlando, Fla on Feb. 2, 2025.

WATCH: Baker Mayfield’s hilarious mic’d up moments from the Pro Bowl Games

Never change, Baker.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback [autotag]Baker Mayfield[/autotag] had the opportunity to participate in the Pro Bowl Games after Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott could not play due to injury, and he certainly made it count in Orlando.

Mayfield won the Precision Passing event on Thursday before throwing two touchdowns on Sunday and serving as the MVP of the games. He also happened to be mic’d up, and with a guy like Mayfield, you know that’s always going to be entertaining.

From Mayfield’s outer monologue from warmups, his support of teammate Tristan Wirfs on the sled pull event and his words with the flag football referees, check out some of his hilarious clips from the Pro Bowl Games below:

Ray Lewis’ comically bad janitor disguise at the Pro Bowl had NFL players in disbelief

“The smallest man in Orlando!”

Ray Lewis went undercover at the Pro Bowl to hand out compliments (and sneaky insults) to several NFL players, and the results are hysterical.

The Pro Bowl allows fans to take in some of the NFL’s best talent. The best part of the event is that players are asked to do things they don’t normally do, like play dodgeball, field punts with footballs already in their arms or turn into a rapper like Eli Manning did.

But what about dressing up as a janitor to hand out compliments and disses about other players? That’s what NFL Hall of Famer Ray Lewis did, and the results are as hilarious as you think they are.

Eli Manning rapped the most delightfully dorky diss at Tom Brady during NFL Pro Bowl Games

Eli Manning making fun of Tom Brady is always funny.

Former NFL quarterback Eli Manning threw out his rapping skills at the Pro Bowl Games this past weekend, and he got in a pretty funny diss at Tom Brady in the process.

While we don’t recommend Manning drop his day job to pursue a career in hip-hop, the coach of the Pro Bowl Games NFC team hyped his team up by laying down a few bars about how he beat Tom Brady in the Super Bowl twice.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

Everyone on the NFC team immediately loved Manning’s silly diss at Brady, as it’s genuinely impossible not to at least smirk at how far Manning was willing to go to entertain his guys.

Manning has established himself as one of the most beloved figures in NFL media, and we’re guessing even Brady got a kick out of Manning’s very funny attempt at rapping.

While Brady probably wants those Super Bowls back, this clip is something everyone (except for salty New England Patriots fans) can enjoy.

Eagles C Jason Kelce pays tribute to Ryan Jensen at Pro Bowl Games

Kelce had a lot of nice words to say about Jensen after his retirement, calling him one of the best centers in the NFL.

Game recognizes game, as they say. And one of the best centers to ever play football had some very nice things to say about former Tampa Bay Buccaneers center Ryan Jensen, who announced his retirement last week.

At the Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, Florida, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce was asked about Jensen’s recent retirement. The six-time first-team All-Pro had a lot of respect for Jensen, whom he singled out as one of the best centers in the league.

Here’s what Kelce said about Jensen:

“In his tenure in the NFL, he was one of the best centers in the league. Not only was he imposing physically, but he was an imposing personality — he was a tough, physical guy. He was a guy that set the tone for whatever team it was, Baltimore or Tampa Bay. He had an incredible year. Of course he had some injuries, but he was one of my favorite players to watch. He was going to bring it day in and day out, every game, you love watching Ryan Jensen play. He can look back on that with a lot of pride, and I think I speak for a lot of guys in the NFL when I say that Ryan played the game the way you would want a center, or any offensive lineman, to play.”

Kelce and Jensen have been on opposing sidelines a few times in their career. Most recently they met on the field after the Bucs defeated the Eagles in a blowout in the wild-card round last month. Kelce’s comments come amid speculation that he himself could retire from football after this season. If he does, both centers will have gone out with a lot of great play to look back on.

Geno Smith takes heat on Twitter for throwing 3 Pro Bowl interceptions

Here’s how the meanest site on the planet reacted to Geno Smith’s picks at the Pro Bowl.

The NFL’s annual Pro Bowl Games culminated on Sunday afternoon with the big finale, a flag football game. The Seahawks wound up sending six players to this year’s Pro Bowl, with three of them being replacements for injured players. One of them was Seattle’s starting quarterback Geno Smith, who wound up leading the NFC team in passing yards in a win.

However, Smith also threw three interceptions during the game and for a few dark minutes he was the main character on Twitter. Here’s how the meanest site on the planet reacted to Geno Smith’s picks at the Pro Bowl.
