Taylor Swift’s surprise songs from Night 1 of the Eras Tour in Miami, including a new colorful dress

The Eras Tour is back underway, so it’s time for surprise songs once again.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour continued its journey on Friday night in Miami with the first of three total shows in Florida. The now 14-time Grammy winner will be touring almost non-stop for the entire year, and at each show she adds two “surprise songs” to her 44-song, three hour plus set list.

For her first night in Miami, Swift donned a new colorful surprise song dress and went back to the double mashups she loves so much. On guitar, she went with a combination of “Tim McGraw” from Taylor Swift combined with “Timeless (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)” from Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). On piano, Swift went with a mashup of “This Is Me Trying” from Folkmore and “Daylight” from Lover. 

Next up, Swift has two more shows in Miami to kick off the final leg of the Eras Tour.

FINALLY a new bodysuit for Reputation!

Taylor Swift has been performing the Eras Tour since March of 2023. From the first show to the 131st, she wore the very same red and black bodysuit during her Reputation set. While every other era had multiple outfit changes, the same costume took the stage every night during her edgy, snake-themed collection of songs.

Well, on Friday night in Miami, that changed. The 14-time Grammy winner took to the stage in a brand new black and gold serpentine bodysuit. The crowd absolutely lost it, which is unsurprising as the fanbase is eagerly anticipating any announcement regarding Swift’s re-record of Reputation.

Swift will play two more nights in Miami with 17 more shows remaining on the tour. Will the announcement come soon?

Could more surprises be on the way?

With the Eras Tour returning after a two-month break, some new surprises were to be expected. The first big one came in the second era of the night as Taylor Swift broke out a brand new dress for her Fearless set.

The Eras Tour is back for 18 shows to close out a nearly two-year stint on the road that visited five continents (North America, South America, Asia, Australia and Europe).

Previously, the Fearless era heavily featured gold and sometimes black, but on Friday night in Miami, the 14-time Grammy winner went with a very sparkly blue number. The dress also featured dangly tassels.

Jason and Kylie Kelce attend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Miami with Donna Kelce

It was a Kelce family affair (minus Travis) for the first night in Miami.

The Eras Tour got back underway for the final leg Friday night as Taylor Swift took to the stage at Hard Rock Stadium for the first of three shows in Miami. There are only 18 shows left for the concert that has visited five continents and started 20 months ago.

Although Swift’s boyfriend — Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — couldn’t make the show due to team requirements, there were plenty of Kelces in attendance.

Travis’ brother and New Heights podcast co-host Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie, brought their daughters, and Donna Kelce, the matriarch of the family, also came out on Friday evening.

Beau Allen, a former teammate of Jason Kelce’s on the Philadelphia Eagles joined them in the suite for the show, too.

Now that the Eras Tour is back for nearly all of 2024, the surprise songs are back! For those unfamiliar, every night of the tour Taylor Swift picks two songs from her extensive catalog that aren’t part of the set list to perform acoustically. One is played on guitar, and one is performed at the piano.

The last leg of the Eras Tour starts Friday night, and Swift and her cat Olivia are ready.

The Eras Tour gets back underway on Friday night as Taylor Swift takes the stage in Miami for three shows. The 14-time Grammy winner has been on a break from touring since her London show on August 20, and Swift has just 18 remaining dates.

The The Tortured Poets Department singer has been to five continents — North America, South America, Asia, Australia and Europe — over the last 19 months with her record-breaking Eras Tour. With the show wrapping in December in Vancouver, excitement is high for this last leg.

In honor of the tour resuming, Swift posted a reel to her Instagram of her walking into Hard Rock Stadium in Miami holding her cat, Olivia.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce looked so happy canoodling at the Guardians-Yankees ALCS Game 1

The couple was making the most of their time together before the Eras Tour starts back up.

The New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians kicked off Game 1 of the ALCS on Monday night in the Bronx, with the home team getting the win to start the series. Pop star Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce were in attendance as Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs were on a bye.

Swift and Kelce seemingly had a blast at the game, snacking on popcorn and sipping drinks with friends in the box. The couple was absolutely adorable, cuddling up and looking at each other with heart eyes throughout all nine innings.

With Swift’s Eras Tour recommencing on Friday in Miami, it seemed like the love birds were just trying to soak up as much time together as possible.

The duo was all smiles leaving Yankee Stadium.

The New York Yankees took Game 1 of the ALCS on Monday night, defeating the Cleveland Guardians 5-2.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was in attendance in the Bronx with girlfriend Taylor Swift as Kansas City had a bye week. Kelce and the 14-time Grammy winner were spotted in a box having a blast, even though the Cleveland native went home disappointed in the result.

Swift and Kelce spent the whole weekend in the Big Apple, including going out for dinner with Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

The power couple departed Yankee Stadium after the game Monday night hand-in-hand, still smiling and saying goodbye to people they passed. Both wore mostly black ensembles, and bundled up for the chilly October night.

The power couple is making the most of the Chiefs’ bye week.

The Kansas City Chiefs are on a bye last week, and their star tight end Travis Kelce is making the most of his time off. Kelce was spotted out in New York City with girlfriend Taylor Swift on Saturday and Sunday night, including a double date with acting couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

On Monday evening, the power couple decided to make the trip to the Bronx to take in Game 1 of the ALCS between the Guardians and Yankees. A native of Westlake, Ohio, Kelce is a Guardians fan.

The 14-time Grammy winner and 3-time Super Bowl winner went as low-key as a they could, donning black baseball caps and bundling up for the crisp October night.

Stevie Nicks wore a Taylor Swift Tortured Poets bracelet during her SNL performance

The two singers have been friends for over a decade.

Stevie Nicks returned this weekend for her second appearance on Saturday Night Live, four decades after her initial performance in 1983. Nicks performed two songs, “The Lighthouse” and “Edge of Seventeen” as the musical guest for host Ariana Grande.

Fans of pop star Taylor Swift noticed a nod to the 14-time Grammy winner as Nicks wore a bracelet for Swift’s most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department. Nicks has a strong relationship with Swift, with the duo maintaining a friendship that has lasted over 10 years.

Swift mentioned Nicks in her Tortured Poets song “Clara Bow” and performed the song live when the former Fleetwood Mac singer was in attendance at her Eras Tour show in Dublin back in June.
