The Steelers were unable to cover as 3-point road favorites in their 30-6 lopsided loss to the Houston Texans in Week 4, cashing the Under (41) in part due to their inefficient offense. QB Kenny Pickett suffered a knee injury in the loss and is undergoing an MRI to determine the severity. QB Mitch Trubisky will operate under center in the event Pickett is forced to miss time.

First look: Pittsburgh Steelers at Las Vegas Raiders odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s Pittsburgh Steelers at Las Vegas Raiders Week 3 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1) square off with the Las Vegas Raiders (1-1) on Sunday Night Football in Week 3. Kickoff from Allegiant Stadium is set for 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC). Below, we look at Steelers vs. Raiders odds from BetMGM Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s NFL picks and predictions.

The Steelers got in the win column with a 26-22 victory over the AFC North rival Cleveland Browns on Monday Night Football as 2-point home underdogs as the Over cashed. Pittsburgh opened the scoring just 9 seconds in as LB Alex Hightower returned an interception 30 yards for a touchdown, and it capped the scoring midway through the 4th quarter when LB T.J. Watt returned a fumble 16 yards for its 2nd defensive touchdown of the night.

QB Kenny Pickett completed 15-of-30 passes for 222 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception and WR George Pickens seemed to be the primary beneficiary in the absence of WR Diontae Johnson (hamstring) as he snagged 4-of-10 targets for 127 yards and a score.

The Raiders took their first loss of the season on Sunday, falling 38-10 on the road at the Buffalo Bills as 7.5-point underdogs. QB Jimmy Garoppolo‘s 2nd game with Las Vegas was a struggle as he was held to 185 yards and threw just 1 touchdown against 2 interceptions on 16-of-24 passing. RB Josh Jacobs — who led the league with 1,653 rushing yards in 2022 — had -2 yards on 9 carries and now has 46 yards on 28 carries over 2 games.

First look: Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers odds and lines

Looking at Monday’s Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers Week 2 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

The Cleveland Browns (1-0) and the Pittsburgh Steelers (0-1) meet next Monday night for a Week 2 AFC North Division battle. Kickoff from Acrisure Stadium is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. ET (ABC/ESPN+). Below, we look at Browns vs. Steelers odds from BetMGM Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s NFL picks and predictions.

The Browns surprised the visiting Cincinnati Bengals in the rain and slop along the shores of Lake Erie, winning the 1st installment of the Battle of Ohio 24-3. Cleveland cashed as a 1-point favorite as the Under (46) easily connected. RB Nick Chubb hit triple digits with 106 rushing yards.

The Steelers were on the short end of a 30-7 score at home, as Pittsburgh was never in the game against the visiting San Francisco 49ers. Coach Mike Tomlin’s group slipped behind 20-0 before ever scoring, and the Steelers were forced to abandon the run early, becoming rather predictable against a big-time defense which just pinned its ears back for most of the 2nd half.

First look: San Francisco 49ers at Pittsburgh Steelers odds and lines

Looking at Sunday’s San Francisco 49ers at Pittsburgh Steelers Week 1 NFL odds, lines and trends. Here’s what you need to know.

[gambcom-standard rankid=”3011″ ]

The San Francisco 49ers will travel to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the season opener for both teams Sunday at 1 p.m. (FOX). Below, we look at 49ers vs. Steelers odds from BetMGM Sportsbook. Also see: SportsbookWire’s NFL picks and predictions.

After an offseason of whining about what could have been, 49ers fans will have a chance to finally prove it on the field Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Starting QB Brock Purdy has made a great recovery and Sam Darnold was able to beat out Trey Lance as the backup. Lance, who never lived up to being the No. 3 overall pick in the draft, was traded to the Dallas Cowboys. With Darnold now the only backup to Purdy, San Fransisco will have to hope its QB luck changes in 2023.

The Steelers had a sluggish start to the 2022 season. Rookie QB Kenny Pickett took a long time to find his comfort level. When he did, he found a connection with WR George Pickens. After a full season of workouts, this could become the next great QB-WR duo for the Steelers. If Najee Harris can return to his rookie form of 2 years ago (307 carries, 1,200 yards, 7 TDs), the Steelers offense could once again shine bright.

49ers vs. Steelers head-to-head

These teams have not met since the 2019 season, which the 49ers won 24-20 but failed to cover as 6-point home favorites. They are 2-2 in the past 4 meetings, dating back to 2007, with the home team going 4-0 straight up and the Steelers cashing 3-1 ATS.

The 2019 was the only time the underdog covered in the past 4 contests. One of these trends will lose Sunday as Pittsburgh is the underdog and the home team.

Both teams will have a 2nd-year QB leading their offenses. But only Pickett comes into the game completely healthy and with no concerns.

Browns at Steelers head-to-head

These teams played in Week 3 on a Thursday night, and the Browns posted a 29-18 victory as 4.5-point favorites as the Over cashed. The Steelers were using QB Mitchell Trubisky for that game, while the Browns used Jacoby Brissett, so Sunday’s QBs will both be different.

The Steelers have won 4 of the last 5 home games against the Browns, with the lone win by Cleveland coming in an AFC wild-card game on Jan. 10, 2021. The Steelers are 5-2 ATS across the previous 7 meetings, with a 5-3 edge to the Under in the last 8 in the series.
