TULSA, Okla. – The PGA Championship visits Southern Hills Country Club for the fifth time this week, giving the club a chance to show off a recent restoration by architects Gil Hanse and Jim Wagner.

Originally designed by Perry Maxwell and opened in 1936, Southern Hills is No. 1 among private courses in Oklahoma in Golfweek’s Best rankings, and it is No. 38 on Golfweek’s Best list of classic courses built before 1960 in the U.S. The rolling layout has been host to four PGA Championships (1970, ’82, ’94 and ’07) and three U.S. Opens (’58, ’77 and ’01), among many other elite competitions.

Check out the photos below, some provided by the PGA of America (Gary W. Kellner) and the rest by Golfweek’s Gabe Gudgel and Jason Lusk.

A few photos from Kaiir Elam’s first rookie minicamp with Buffalo Bills

Take a quick look at how Kaiir Elam looks in the Buffalo Bills’ blues.

Former Florida Gator [autotag]Kaiir Elam[/autotag], who was selected by the Buffalo Bills at No. 23 overall in the 2022 NFL draft, got his first taste of big-time football on Friday at the team’s rookie minicamp held in Orchard Park, New York. The greenhorn defensive back is taking things in stride so far, patiently working to find his groove at the next level.

According to Elam, there was no pressure on him this weekend and head coach Sean McDermott essentially confirmed that there has been a more laid-back atmosphere surrounding the minicamp. McDermott is fully confident that his new DB will rise to the occasion when the time comes, noting that the franchise traded up to pick him for a reason.

“We think in our system, it’ll be good and he’ll be able to play well in a mutually beneficial approach to press, off, changing some things up. And he’s got a great support system behind him,” McDermott said.

Take a look below at a handful of photos featuring Kaiir Elam in his new NFL uniform.
