Flyers at Hurricanes projected goalies
Carter Hart (17-20-10, 2.94 GAA, .907 SV%, 1 SO) vs. Frederik Andersen (16-6-0, 2.35 GAA, .906 SV%, 1 SO)
Hart turned aside 34 of the 39 shots he faced in Tampa last time out. He is just 1-1-1 with a 2.96 GAA and .900 SV% in 3 starts in the month of March. Hart allowed a goal on 7 shots in a relief effort in Carolina on Dec. 23, and he allowed 4 goals on 38 shots in a 4-3 OT loss at home against the Canes on Oct. 29.
Andersen came on in a relief effort Tuesday for the injured Raanta, and “The Great Dane” was sharp. He allowed just a single goal on 14 shots to secure the win in a 4-3 SO victory. Andersen is 2-1-0 with a 1.47 GAA and .917 SV% in 2 starts and 1 relief appearance in March.

Flyers at Hurricanes picks and predictions
Prediction
Hurricanes 4, Flyers 2
Moneyline
The Hurricanes (-360) will cost over 3 1/2 times your potential return, and that’s a terrible standalone bet. Even in a multi-team parlay, including such a heavy favorite sucks all the value out of a ticket.
PASS.
Puck line/Against the spread
PASS.
When the line shifted to Hurricanes -2.5 (-130) it moved to unplayable, even though the Flyers have lost 5 straight games against the Hurricanes while going just 2-5 in the previous 7 trips to Raleigh. And the favorite has won 5 consecutive meetings in this series, too. But winning by 3 seems too much.
Over/Under
UNDER 6.5 (-120) is a decent amount of juice, but it is the best play.
While the Over has been dominant for the Flyers lately, including a 5-1 mark in the last 6 games on the road, the Under is the lean. The Under is 5-2-1 in the last 8 games for the Hurricanes, while going 4-0-1 in the last 5 home games.
