The Pittsburgh Steelers waited until the last minute to add a wide receiver to replace Ryan Switzer on the active roster for tonight’s game with the Cleveland Browns. According to his management agency, Tevin Jones is on the 53-man roster for Thursday’s game.
Jones has been on again and off again with the Steelers. He has never appeared in a regular-season game for the Steelers.
Week 10 was a bit of an adjustment for Falcons fans. Not only did the team play uncharacteristically well, there was another player wearing former QB Michael Vick’s infamous No. 7 jersey.

Koo was asked about winning the award, and just how bizarre it is to be wearing Vick’s former number. Watch what he had to say below, as tweeted by ESPN’s Vaughn McClure:

While the Raiders pulled out a few hard-fought wins this season, they also got embarrassed a few times. In some of those games, as well as a few they have to dig themselves out of a hole, there were players who had to raise their hand and say ‘my bad, guys.” These are their stories (bong, bong).
DB Lamarcus Joyner
Buster nods: 7
Worst game: Week 4 vs. Colts
Joyner was the one big, highly touted free-agent addition Gruden had this offseason. He was going to fix the issues at the nickel corner spot. Early on, it was apparent that it was not happening.
After Patrick Mahomes and Kirk Cousins lit up the Raiders secondary in weeks 2 and 3, the rest of the secondary stepped up against the Colts. But Jacoby Brissett was stilling making plays, and it was Joyner he picked on all day. The entire secondary has been an issue all season, but even when the opposing QB is struggling, they seem to find yards via Joyner.
He was not named a Baller once this season and just twice didn’t land among the Busters. Now, he has a hamstring injury, so we’ll see what the Raiders can do without him.
CB Gareon Conley
Buster nods: 5
Worst game: Week 7 vs. Packers
This was a tough call for Conley’s worst game. I mean, it was Aaron Rodgers, and Conley had been lit up by the likes of Joe Flacco and Chase Daniel before that. But even against Rodgers, someone has to step up. Conley didn’t step up.
Conley was beaten in several different ways by the Packers. This included a 74-yard touchdown catch, a 59-yard catch that later led to him being out of position to allow Rodgers to jog in for a touchdown.
Conley was traded to the Texans the next day. In part because of the game he had, and in part because someone had to go and he carried the most value. The Raiders got a third-round pick in the deal.
Move over, Tony Romo. There’s a new NFLstradamus in town.
It’s Devin Bush, the linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers who has a four-game correct prediction streak on the line with Thursday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns.
Before Week 6, he told DKPittsburghSports.com that he would score his first defensive touchdown in their game against the Chargers. And he did!
After the Steelers’ bye in Week 7, he said that the Steelers would intercept two Dolphins passes (yup), force a fumble (they did so, twice). He did say Terrell Edmunds would score a touchdown, and although he didn’t, whatever.
In Week 9: he told the site they would have four to five sacks and a pick. Against the Colts, they picked off Brian Hoyer once and sacked him … four times.
Last week, he said this:
Devin Bush was asked to guess how the Steelers' D would do this Sunday.
Check out Draft Wire’s exclusive interview with Kentucky edge defender Jamar “Boogie” Watson
Last year, the NFL draft featured a talented edge rusher by the name of Josh Allen. In 2020, another pass-rushing Wildcat could make waves at the next level.
A versatile prospect who can get after opposing quarterbacks and shut down ball-carriers in the backfield, Watson recently spoke exclusively with Draft Wire about the skill set he brings to the table, how playing at Kentucky has prepared him for the next level, and what fans can expect from him the rest of this season.
JM: How would you describe your skill set?
JBW: I’m a very athletic edge rusher. I can play off the edge as a rusher and I can drop in coverage a little bit as well. I’m a savvy player and I have a high football I.Q. as well.
JM: What’s your favorite part about playing linebacker?
JBW: I love having the ability to effect the game on a snap-by-snap basis. I play in the middle of the defense and we get to be involved on every single play. I have a role to play on every single defensive snap. I love that. That gives me a chance to be a high impact player.
JM: I heard that you’re a tap dancer. How did you get into that?
JBW: My high school basketball coach recommended that I get into tap dancing. I needed an extra credit and it was a pretty easy class, if I’m being honest (laughs). I gave it a shot and I’ve actually kept it going since high school. I really ended up liking it.
JM: Your dream job outside of being an NFL player is to become a police offer. Why is that?
JBW: It started off with me watching lots of law enforcement shows. Those were my favorite types of shows growing up.CSI, Law & Order, shows like that. As I got older, my interest in law enforcement became more serious and I started doing some research. If I wasn’t playing football, that would be my dream career. That’s what I’m studying right now in school. That’s my top desire aside from football. My goal is to play in the NFL, first and foremost, but a career as an officer of the law after football definitely intrigues me.
JM: What’s your favorite cop show of all time?
JBW: That’s a great question. If I had to go all time, I would probably say “Person of Interest.” It’s on Netflix now, and it has about five seasons. It’s about this I.T. nerd guy who has the ability to predict future crimes and he has this badass friend who’s the muscle of the group. He sends him out on these missions to stop these crimes before they happen. That’s probably my favorite show of all time.
JM: Who do you think is the best NCAA player you’ve ever gone up against?
JBW: I would probably go with Sony Michel or Deebo Samuel. Those guys stood out for obvious reasons. I can’t forget about Lamar Jackson. He’s as dynamic as they come. Those are definitely my top three.
JM: Is there an NFL running back or tight end you’re looking forward to tackling or covering?
JBW: I would probably say Ezekiel Elliott. He’s received so much publicity over the last couple of years. He’s a superstar running back and I’d love to test out my abilities against a guy like that.
JM: Coach Brad White did a great job with Josh Allen last year. He also has six years NFL experience with the Indianapolis Colts. How has he helped elevate your game?
JBW: He’s definitely taken my game to another level. He has an incredible feel for the game. He understands the role of a linebacker well beyond pass rushing. He’s helped me in every faucet of my game. His attention to detail is tremendous. It’s the small things that he’s taught me that helped me become a better player. He’s really made a difference in my life. Josh Allen will tell you himself, we as a linebacker group give a ton of credit to coach White. He puts a huge emphasis on having us reach for the ball. Try to strip it out and create turnovers. It’s the small technique stuff that he’s really helped me out a lot.
JM: How has Kentucky helped prepare you for what’s next?
JBW: The weight staff is one of the best in the country. We have some veteran guys around this program. The coaching staff has a ton of experience. The training staff is top notch as well. They keep us right throughout the summer and throughout the season as well. Our coaches have had success at multiple levels. Having these guys at my disposal has been huge for me.
JM: What can Kentucky fans expect from you for the rest of this season?
JBW: They can expect me to be continue being a productive member of this defense. My team needs me to be productive. I’m working hard to improve every single day. I’m definitely focused and locked in right now.
Eric Weddle is the Rams’ nominee for the prestigious award.
Eric Weddle is one of the most well-respected players in the NFL and it was evident right away after he signed with the Rams. He was quickly voted a captain and called a “genius” by his teammates, emerging as a leader right out of the gates.
On Thursday, he was honored by the Rams as their nominee for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award. The award recognizes players who best exemplify sportsmanship on the field, which Weddle certainly does.
Last year, the Rams nominated Todd Gurley, though Drew Brees went on to win the award.
The winner will be announced before the Super Bowl at the NFL Honors show and will be determined by a vote from current players. Eight finalists will be selected in December.

The folks over at Bet MGM have the Panthers as 5.5-point favorites over the Falcons Week 11, with the over/under set at 49.5.
The Falcons earned their second win of the season last week against the heavily-favored Saints in New Orleans. After making some minor coaching changes during the bye week, Atlanta’s defense dominated up front, sacking Drew Brees six times.
The team will look to keep the momentum going when it takes on another divisional foe in the 5-4 Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
The folks over at Bet MGM have the Panthers as 5.5-point favorites over the Falcons in Week 11, with the over/under set at 49.5.
It isn’t surprising that Carolina is favored. Running back Christian McCaffrey has been a one-man show this season, making a legitimate case for the 2019 MVP award.
With starting QB Cam Newton out for the season, Panthers backup Kyle Allen has played well above expectations. Allen has cooled off a bit in recent weeks, though.
Carolina has slowed down since winning four straight games, and has lost two of its last three.
This could be the perfect chance for the Falcons to win their second straight NFC South matchup and keep their extremely thin playoff chances alive for another week.

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is a nominee for the 2019 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award.
The NFL announced their nominees for the 2019 Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, and quarterback Deshaun Watson was the representative for the Houston Texans.
A panel of former NFL players including Warrick Dunn, Pro Football Hall of Famer Curtis Martin, Karl Mecklenburg and Leonard Wheeler will select four finalists per conference, and the finalists will be on the Pro Bowl ballot under the NFL Sportsmanship Award category when players vote on Dec. 13.
A team cannot vote for its own player; therefore, if Watson were to win it, the votes would come from the other 31 NFL teams’ players.
The NFL created the award in 2014 in honor of Pittsburgh Steelers founding owner Art Rooney, who was also inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The award goes to the NFL player who, “best demonstrates the qualities of on-field sportsmanship, including fair play, respect for the game and opponents, and integrity in competition,” according to a league statement.
WR Larry Fitzgerald (2014), CB Charles Woodson (2015), RB Frank Gore (2016), LB Luke Kuechly (2017), and QB Drew Brees (2018) have been past recipients.
Other quarterbacks nominated for 2019 include Lamar Jackson, Matthew Stafford, Patrick Mahomes, Derek Carr, and Carson Wentz.
The Rams have been reluctant to let Todd Gurley loose this season, giving him fewer than 20 carries in each game so far. It hasn’t worked as the offense has sputtered, but is it time for the coaches to use him as a workhorse with only seven games remaining?
