Week 3 expert picks for Cardinals-Cowboys

Nobody is picking the Cardinals to win in Week 3.

The 0-2 Arizona Cardinals take on the 2-0 Dallas Cowboys at home on Sunday. The Cardinals are massive underdogs, and understandably so.

The Cowboys have outscored their opponents 70-10 through two games.

The Cardinals were outscored 31-8 just in the second half of their game last week.

There is little faith in the Cardinals to even make a game of it.

We have expert picks below, from Cards Wire, from Cowboys Wire and a panel of NFL Network experts.

Week 3 picks: Who the experts are taking in Texans vs. Jaguars

The Texans beat the Jaguars at EverBank Stadium in 2022, but not many experts think they’ll do it again Sunday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars appear well-positioned to get back in the win column. After losing to the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2, the Jaguars get a much easier test when the 0-2 Houston Texans come to EverBank Stadium.

But beating teams they should beat hasn’t always been the Jaguars’ strong suit. Just last season the Texans, who finished the year 3-13-1, came into Duval and handed the Jaguars a 13-6 loss.

Houston’s success against the Jaguars dates back more than a decade. Since 2011, Jacksonville has managed to win just five of its last 25 games against the Texans.

Experts don’t think Houston will get another win against the Jaguars on Sunday, though. Here’s a roundup of who pundits are picking in the Week 3 matchup:

Week 2 picks: Who the experts are taking in Chiefs vs. Jaguars

Experts are mostly predicting that the Chiefs will bounce back from their Week 1 loss and beat the Jaguars on Sunday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars came up short in two attempts to beat the Kansas City Chiefs during the 2022 season. The first was a mid-November road loss, while the second was a playoff defeat that ended the Jaguars’ Cinderella run.

Now the Jaguars enter a 2023 rematch with a 1-0 record and, unlike last year, they’ll have hometown advantage against the 0-1 Chiefs.

Experts aren’t convinced those differences will matter much, though.

Most are siding with Kansas City to bounce back from their Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions with a road victory at EverBank Stadium. Here’s a roundup of experts’ predictions of the Week 2 matchup in Jacksonville:

Week 1 picks: Who the experts are taking in Jaguars vs. Colts

Unsurprisingly, there’s no shortage of experts who think the Jaguars get out to a 1-0 start this afternoon.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are the defending AFC South champs and the favorite to win the division title again in 2023. The Indianapolis Colts are in the early stages of a rebuild with first-year head coach Shane Steichen and rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson about to make their regular season debuts.

While the Jaguars strung together five straight wins to close out the regular season in 2023, Indianapolis finished with only four victories on the year. Still, one of those wins was a 34-27 upset of the Jaguars at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Unsurprisingly, most don’t think the Colts are well-positioned to do it again vs. the road favorite Jaguars on Sunday.

With the Jaguars listed as a 4.5-point favorite against the Colts, here are what experts are predicting about the Week 1 matchup:

Cards Wire’s Super Bowl LVII staff predictions

The writing staff from Cards Wire make their predictions for Super Bowl LVII between the Chiefs and the Eagles.

Super Bowl LVII is Sunday afternoon at State Farm Stadium, the Arizona Cardinals’ home stadium. Kickoff is 6:30 p.m. ET (4:30 pm. Arizona time), and the game will air on FOX.

It features the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles, both the No. 1 seeds from their respective conferences after going 14-3 in the regular season.

It is Patrick Mahomes vs. Jalen Hurts. Travis Kelce vs. brother Jason Kelce.

It is Andy Reid’s current team vs. his former team.

Who will win?

Betting picks for 49ers-Eagles, Bengals-Chiefs

We make our predictions for the AFC and NFC title games.

The conference title games are here. The San Francisco 49ers and their 12-game winning streak are on the road against the No. 1-seeded Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game. The Cincinnati Bengals seek a second straight Super Bowl appearance as they face the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game for the second year in a row in Kansas City.

Below are my betting picks for the two games.

NFL Picks: Office pool pick’em – Divisional Round

Use our staff’s weekly pick’em against the spread and straight up for the win.

The Huddle staff makes its weekly NFL game picks every Thursday.

NFL picks are provided for straight up (moneyline) and against the spread (ATS) NFL pick pools.

Each week’s spread picks are graded by the line as of when the person entered their picks. This will create situations in which a movement of the line can result in two participants having the correct pick but with different teams chosen during an individual game.

Emmanuel Sanders’ NFL playoff picks have been perfect so far

Emmanuel Sanders went 6-0 on his picks in the first round of the NFL playoffs.

After announcing his retirement from the NFL last fall, former wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders joined NFL Network as a studio analyst.

It’s safe to say he’s an expert on the game.

Sanders was the only member of NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Morning program to correctly pick all six winners in the wild-card round of the NFL playoffs. Most of the network’s pundits were tripped up by the Dallas Cowboys beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and not all of them had the New York Giants beating the Minnesota Vikings.

As for Sanders, though, he’s a perfect 6-0 in his playoff picks so far.

Sanders, 35, played for the Denver Broncos from 2014-2019, totaling 404 receptions for 5,361 yards and 28 touchdowns in 78 games. A two-time Pro Bowler and a Super Bowl 50 champion, Sanders also rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown and even threw a 28-yard touchdown pass as a Bronco.

A fan favorite in Denver, Sanders is off to a great start as an analyst.

Who are the experts predicting to win in Chargers vs. Jaguars?

Find out who national pundits are favoring in the matchup between the Los Angeles Chargers and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Los Angeles Chargers are 2-point favorites over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wild Card Round. The over/under is 47.5 points, per Tipico Sportsbook.

That means oddsmakers are taking bets on whether the two teams will combine to score more than or fewer than 47.5 points.

My score prediction for the game is a 27-24 win for the Chargers, with a total of 51 points. So if I were putting money behind my prediction, I’d bet the over.

As for expert predictions, they are split, with the Jaguars slightly favored. Over at NFL Pick Watch, which compiles the list of expert picks, 51% are picking Jacksonville to win.

The showdown between the Chargers and Jaguars is arguably the most evenly matched.

Saturday’s game will begin at 5:15 p.m. PT and will be televised on NBC.
