The Las Vegas Raiders will be on the road in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs from Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Raiders are coming into this one after a 30-23 loss to the Bills last week at home and will need to improve their defense as this season moves forward if they want to compete with the NFL’s best.  The Chiefs continue to roll this season, beating the Patriots, Ravens, and Chargers and improving to 4-0 on this young season.

Prediction: The Raiders have the ability to put up some points with Jon Gruden calling the plays, where they really have an issue is on defense.  They can’t seem to score more points than the defense gives up.  I still like the Raiders in this one with the points.

Texans vs. Jaguars: Time, TV schedule and streaming info for Week 5

The Houston Texans take on the Jacksonville Jaguars for a Week 5 showdown that opens up Houston’s AFC South schedule. Find out how to catch the game.

The Houston Texans will do anything for a win, including firing Bill O’Brien after starting the season 0-4.

Houston invites the Jacksonville Jaguars to NRG Stadium to open up their AFC South schedule. If the Texans are able to go 5-1 or better in the division, it could help them put together a record that qualifies for the playoffs. But it all starts with beating the Jaguars Sunday.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson leads the NFL with 16 sacks. The Jaguars have produced just four sacks through the first four games, but they do have a formidable pass rush with defensive end Josh Allen and linebacker Myles Jack that the Texans cannot discount.

Jacksonville is enjoying undrafted free agent running back James Robinson’s contributions as the feature back. The former Illinois State product has been a welcome surprise after the club released former 2017 first-round running back Leonard Fournette. With a 1-3 record, the Jaguars’ lone win was a quality one as they beat the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1. The Colts have gone on to post a 3-1 record through the first quarter of the season. Jacksonville can beat good teams, and the problem is Houston hasn’t shown they are a good team after the first four games.

If the Texans aren’t able to get a win against the Jaguars and fall to 0-5, the only winners will be the Miami Dolphins as they own Houston’s first and second-round picks in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Denver Broncos in an early afternoon AFC matchup on Sunday from Heinz Field.  The Steelers are looking to build on last week’s 26-16 win against the Giants where Roethlisberger threw for 229 yards and 3 touchdowns. Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos are coming off a 16-14 loss against the Titans, they will look to get Melvin Gordon going on the ground today.

Will Drew Lock and the Broncos have enough for an upset against Big Ben? Tune in and find out, here is everything you need to know to catch the NFL action tonight.

Denver Broncos vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Prediction: This is a tough game to predict, I really liked how Drew Lock and the Broncos played against the Titans last week. It took the Steelers some time to get warmed up last week but once they were, they were rolling. I think the Steelers will win this one but I’m not sure they win by a touchdown. Take the Denver Broncos +6.5.

Watch Titans vs. Chiefs Live Online.

The Tennessee Titans travel to Kansas City to take on the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. Whoever wins will punch their ticket to Super Bowl LIV in Miami. Kansas City leads the all-time series 29-24, but Tennessee has won four in a row, including a 35-32 home victory in Week 10. It’s a battle of two high octane offenses Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium.

Titans vs. Chiefs

  • TV: CBS

After knocking off the Patriots in the wild-card round, the Titans defeated the Ravens 28-12 in Baltimore. The Titans defense set the tone with an interception by Keith Byard. Jonnu Smith hauled in a spectacular catch shortly thereafter to give Tennessee an early 7-0  lead and its 10th straight touchdown on red zone drives. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill completed seven of 14 passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns, in addition to one rushing touchdown on the ground. Speaking of rushing, Derrick Henry went next level for the third straight week, running for 195 yards and two scores against a tough Ravens defense. Henry also passed for a touchdown. The running back had 188 yards and two touchdowns in the first meeting between the Chiefs and Titans. Henry’s ability to wear down opposing defenses and keep the Kansas City offense off the field will be the keys to the team’s success.

Down 20-0, it looked like the Texans would be marching onto the AFC Championship game. Not so fast though. The Chiefs have reigning NFL MVP in Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes completed 23 of 35 passes for 321 yards and a season-high five touchdowns. Tight end Travis Kelce reeled in three of those touchdowns on 10 catches for a total of 134 yards. Running back Damien Williams didn’t have a slew of yards rushing (47), but he did pick up two scores on the ground and one receiving. It’s no secret what Kansas City will do offensively. Can Logan Ryan and Rashaan Evans put pressure on Mahomes? How will Keith Byard and the rest of the secondary perform against Kelce and the speed of wideouts Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins? Those will be matchups to watch on Sunday afternoon.

The Tennessee Titans (10-7), who finished second in the NFC South, head north to Baltimore to face the AFC North champion Ravens (14-2). Baltimore leads the all-time series 12-11, including a 21-0 shutout last season in Nashville. This will be the fourth playoff meeting between the two teams and third in the divisional game. The Ravens lost to the Chargers 23-17 in last year’s wild card game and still have that sour taste in their mouth. Can they get over the hump or will the Titans play spoiler for the second straight week?

The Titans had a daunting task of heading to Foxborough to take on the Patriots right out of the gate last weekend. For the fifth time in his career, quarterback Ryan Tannehill found a way to beat the Patriots, this time 20-13. He completed 8 of 15 passes for 72 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The story of the game though was Derrick Henry, who went on a rampage. Henry, who led the league in rushing with 1,540 yards in the regular season, totaled 34 carries for 182 yards and one touchdown against a Patriots defense that was praised all season long. It’s no secret if the Titans want to win against the Ravens they need to feed the ball to Henry.

The Titans deserve credit defensively as well. Tom Brady was held to just 209 yards passing and failed to find the end zone. The Patriots run game was also limited to under 100 yards. Linebacker Rashaan Evans notched 10 tackles and is one of three players on this defense with over 100 tackles on the season, joining Jayon Brown and Logan Ryan. Ryan recorded four tackles, as well as a pick-six that sealed the win against his former team.

While the Titans were battling it out in Foxborough, the Baltimore Ravens had a bye after winning the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The Ravens success all starts with their offense, ranked second behind the Cowboys with an average of 407.6 PG, 206 of those coming on the ground.  Quarterback Lamar Jackson is the frontrunner for MVP honors with 1,206 yards and seven touchdowns rushing and 3,127 yards and 36 touchdowns through the air. Needless to say, he can beat you in a multitude of ways and the Titans defense must hone in on him. Mark Ingram felt tightness in his calf during the bye week and sat out of practice early this week. Ingram has 1,018 yards and 10 touchdowns this season and is a major part of the Ravens offense. Defensively, the Ravens ranked fourth in the regular season in total defense with opponents averaging 300.6 YPG and were fifth against the run (93.4 YPG).

Watch Bills vs Jets Live.

Week 17 is upon us, the last regular-season games will commence this weekend. The New York Jets will travel to Orchard Park, NY, and New Era Field to take on the Buffalo Bills.

NFL Football: New York Jets (-1) at Buffalo Bills

  • Date: Sunday, December 29
  • Kickoff: 1:00 p.m. ET
  • TV Channel: CBS
  • Live Stream: CBS All Access (Try it FREE now)

Buffalo has already clinched the first wild card spot in the AFC and will most likely limit the starters in this game to give them some rest before next weekend. Josh Allen will get the start with Matt Barkley coming in later in the game to lead the Bills to a possible 11-5 season record, which would be the first time in twenty years.

The Jets are coming in hot and their defense has been playing very well the last few weeks. They will look to knock off the Bills before ending their season in Buffalo with zero playoff hopes. Expect Sam Darnold to play the whole game against his friend and rival, Josh Allen.

Prediction: With the Buffalo Bills limiting their starters, it might give the Jets a chance in this game. I still believe the Bills will want to go into the playoffs with a win so I’m taking the Bills in this game. Bills (+1)

The Jets relied on their defense to get a 16-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in their last game. Adam Gase’s squad forced two crucial turnovers, both interceptions of Steelers quarterback Devlin Hodges, which proved to be the difference. The Jets and Steelers went into halftime tied at 10, but the Jets held Pittsburgh scoreless the rest of the way to propel themselves to victory.

Meanwhile, Buffalo saw its AFC East title hopes disappear for good last week when the team lost 24-17 to the New England Patriots. Josh Allen threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns, with 108 of those yards going to wide receiver Cole Beasley. However, Allen and the Bills came up just short on their final drive of the game, getting stopped near the goal line in the final two minutes. While there is no such thing as a good loss in the NFL, Buffalo did prove itself capable of competing with the Patriots and the AFC-leading Baltimore Ravens in recent weeks, which is a positive sign heading into the postseason.
