Chiefs star Travis Kelce on Jayden Daniels: He’s ‘unbelievable’

Jason and Travis Kelce love everything they’ve seen from Jayden Daniels.

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels continues to make new fans across the NFL.

After another outstanding performance in last week’s 42-14 win over the Arizona Cardinals, Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce and brother Jason discussed Daniels on the latest edition of the “New Heights” podcast.

“This dude is unbelievable, man,” Travis Kelce said. “He is fun to watch.”

Then Jason, the former Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center, weighed in on Washington’s rookie.

“The stat in particular that everyone seems to be bringing up is the 82.1% completion,” Jason Kelce said.

“That’s through four games, ladies and gentlemen,” Travis said.

“It’s the No. 1 all-time through four games, “Jason said. “It might be a Lebron stat, but that is a damn good Lebron stat.”

More perspective on the record that Jason Kelce is referring to. It’s not only a rookie record but the best four-game stretch for a completion percentage (minimum of 20 attempts) in NFL history, besting four-game stretches from Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

Jason Kelce then discussed Daniels’ progression through each game, how it began with a lot of “dinking and dunking,” but now you’re seeing what Daniels can do at every level of the field.

“I don’t know if he’s gonna be the next C.J. Stroud, the next Pat Mahomes, but there’s something I like about it,” Jason Kelce said.

Then, Travis offered the best response.

“It sounds like he’s gonna be the next Jayden Daniels,” the younger Kelce said.

Everyone always looks to compare players to one another, but perhaps Daniels doesn’t need to be compared to another NFL quarterback. Maybe he’ll be the next guy you compare quarterbacks to moving forward.

Travis Kelce lost a bet to Patrick Mahomes and wore the Texas Tech mascot head on New Heights

LOL!!

The Texas Tech and Cincinnati game was dramatic, as the Red Raiders emerged with a 44-41 win over the Bearcats … and it turns out some very famous alumni of both schools had a bet on it.

Former Cincinnati star Travis Kelce made a bet with his Texas Tech alum and Kansas City Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and lost. So Kelce had to don the Red Raiders mascot head while filming the latest New Heights podcast, and the result was hilarious.

Kelce imitated what he thinks the mascot would sound like and things got too hot under there. Just watch and enjoy:

Is Travis Kelce’s Grotesquerie character not real? Jason Kelce has theories on New Heights

Jason has THOUGHTS on Travis’ new role.

Last Wednesday, the new FX thriller drama Grotesquerie starring Niecy Nash premiered with its first two episodes dropping. Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has a recurring role on the show, making it his first major television role.

On this week’s new episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis and brother Jason Kelce got into a discussion on the first episode of the Ryan Murphy drama. Travis plays an orderly, and Jason already has a lot of questions.

“I’m gonna need you to stop dodging. Did you boil a baby or not?” Jason asked, doubling down on his tweet from last week.

The former Eagles center continued, throwing out a theory that Travis’ character just isn’t real.

We learned Travis’s character’s name, though:

New episodes of Grotesquerie air on FX every Wednesday.

Jason Kelce teased Travis about refs being on the Chiefs’ side after the Bengals’ pass interference call

Jason with the jokes.

Coming off last season’s Super Bowl win, the Chiefs have seen their first two wins of the season come down to officiating decisions — albeit correct ones. But that wasn’t going to stop Jason Kelce from echoing every NFL fan’s favorite narrative:

The refs love to help the Chiefs!

During the latest episode of New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the former Eagles center wanted to get his brother’s take on the crucial pass interference call that went against Bengals cornerback Daijahn Anthony. Obviously, the call was correct with Anthony going through Rashee Rice’s back well before the pass arrived.

Still, Jason’s framing of the question was classic big brother behavior.

Jason said:

“Besides the refs being on the Chiefs’ side, why do the Chiefs always find a way to close these close games out?”

Travis even had to laugh at that one, but to his credit, Jason did agree that the pass interference call was correct. It really wasn’t even close.

Travis Kelce trolls Jason Kelce over his brother’s dance moves in latest New Heights podcast

Travis couldn’t stop laughing at his brother’s dance moves.

Travis Kelce is known as the dancer in his family, but we saw his brother Jason steal his crown this week in Philadelphia before Monday Night Football.

And on the latest New Heights podcast, Travis couldn’t stop laughing as they recapped the dance Jason did in a velour tracksuit that’s gone seriously viral.

Starting around the 52-minute mark of the podcast below, you can hear Travis laughing so hard before remarking, “”Dude, you are the [expletive] most electric dancer I’ve ever met in my life. You can put a smile on anybody’s face by dancing.”

“It is so good. And when you get in that mode when you go full send, oh my gosh … WOO! Thank you for that. I’ll have that forever. I’ll have that in my back pocket on a [expletive] cloudy day.”

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce admits to watching football on his phone during his visit to the US Open

Kansas City #Chiefs tight end Travis Kelcs admits to watching football on his phone during his visit to the US Open | @EdEastonJr

The Kansas City Chiefs were able to rest last weekend after defeating the Baltimore Ravens on the opening Thursday night kickoff game. Players and coaches spent the extra days off doing various activities, including the notable outing involving Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

During the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis shares his experience at the US Open tennis championship in New York City last weekend. He revealed that he had his mind on the game, not tennis but instead NFL Sunday football action.

“Are you kidding me? Yes, it’s perfect,” said Travis. “It’s f****** the first Sunday of the NFL season; you think I was going to miss a one o’clock start?”

Kelce thanked YouTube TV for being able to watch four games at once while at the event.

“These games were like right in the second quarter, halftime, going into the second half,” said Kelce. “It was prime time for any NFL fan, and I’ve always been a fan first.”

The quiet tennis stadium didn’t affect the multiple-time Pro Bowler as he didn’t need commentators to enjoy the game.

“The volume was down,” Kelce said. “I wasn’t listening to the volume.”

Travis Kelce and Jason root on Taylor Swift at the MTV VMAs with a hilarious New Heights exchange

Jason Kelce had a hilarious quote as he and Travis rooted on Taylor Swift.

Hey, Wednesday night is the 2024 MTV VMAs! And Travis Kelce is of course rooting his girlfriend on.

On the latest New Heights podcast, Travis and his brother Jason Kelce got sponsored by the event, and Travis said, “Hopefully Taylor can walk away with a few, she’s nominated for about 10 of those things tonight. Hopefully, she can walk away with some moon men.”

Travis then added, “Wishing everybody the best, though.”

Then, Jason replied with this: “Unless you’re up against Tay. I hope you lose.”

PERFECT. We love it. Here’s that moment that has fans sharing this one everywhere, and rightfully so:

Travis Kelce talks ‘stars aligning’ with buying horse named for Taylor Swift on New Heights

Travis Kelce broke down buying the horse named Swift Delivery.

The internet predictably buzzed about whether Travis Kelce had bought a share in a thoroughbred horse because it happened to be named Swift Delivery, which turned out to indeed be named for his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

On Wednesday, with a brand new episode of the New Heights podcast, Travis told the tale of buying the horse to his brother, Jason Kelce. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end explained that he was friends with a family that owned horses, who asked if he wanted in on this one.

When his brother Jason asked if the name was the reason behind the purchase, Travis had this to say: “When the stars align, it feels good to jump on board.”

Taylor Swift fans think they heard one of her cats on the New Heights podcast with Travis Kelce

Could this really be one of Taylor Swift’s cats meowing?

Thanks to the return of the New Heights podcast, we now have a very interesting theory courtesy of Taylor Swift fans.

As you’ll note in the video below, Jason and Travis Kelce are talking to each other for a segment, and you can hear a high-pitched noise in the background. I can’t tell if it’s a MEOW (it could be!) or, say, one of Jason’s kids (it also could be!).

But Swifties threw out there that it could be one of Swift’s many cats visiting, which might mean Swift was there for the taping. Hmm.

See what you think about this:

Travis Kelce made a ‘very demure’ reference on the New Heights podcast and fans loved it

Travis Kelce apparently loves the “very demure” TikTok trend, just like you.

The New Heights podcast is back for Season 3, and we’ve gotten some gems in the first episode with Travis and Jason Kelce.

There was guest star Adam Sandler, who was terrific and also gushed about Taylor Swift to her boyfriend. And then there was Travis and Jason talking about a commercial Jason shot in which he wore eye black. When Jason asked how his eyes looked after, Travis responded with a wink to the “very demure” TikTok trend that is sweeping the internet thanks to a video by Jools Lebron.

Listeners absolutely loved it and shared it on X (formerly Twitter):
