Myles Garrett arrives for Ravens-Browns as ‘The Terminator’

Myles Garrett was ready for Halloween and the Ravens

The Cleveland Browns have had a scary season, winning one game.

On the week of Halloween, star defensive lineman decided to show up for the game on Sunday with the Baltimore Ravens in character.

Check out “The Terminator” outfit Garrett wore. He hopes to terminate Cleveland’s losing streak.

Myles Garrett rules Halloween once again with entrance to stadium

The Browns’ All-Pro defensive end’s love for Halloween knows no bounds

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett has always been one to participate in Halloween activities that include some of Hollywood’s most famous thrillers.

Many fans remember some of his previous stunts such as the very popular quarterback graveyard. The graveyard represented every NFL quarterback that the Browns star had sacked in that season. Garrett decided to participate this year by dressing up before the week 8 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. He arrived as Arnold Schwarzenegger’s character from the 1984 hit “The Terminator.”

The Browns’ star defensive end arrived in a full Terminator costume that even included a state-of-the-art mask. The mask was completed with the help of a former Hollywood stage and costume design team, and Mike Castro of Madness FX. Myles Garrett has always aimed for Halloween characters that represent intimidation, fear, and determination.

The Browns’ defensive end will look to bring some of that energy against the Baltimore Ravens in their week 8 matchup today.

Cleveland pass rusher Myles Garrett arrived for the Week 8 game vs. the Baltimore Ravens dressed as “The Terminator”

Myles Garrett is 6â€Č 4″, 270 pounds of machines, and the former Texas A&M star loves Halloween.  Since entering the NFL in 2017 as the No. 1 overall pick in Cleveland, Garrett has owned Halloween with a versatile list of costumes.

On Sunday, with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in town, Garrett arrived at Huntington Bank Field dressed as the iconic Terminator character from the 1984 American science fiction action film directed by James Cameron, written by Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd and produced by Hurd.

There Terminator stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, a cybernetic assassin sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose unborn son will one day save mankind from extinction by Skynet, a hostile artificial intelligence in a post-apocalyptic future. Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) is a soldier sent back in time to protect Sarah.

Garrett’s Browns are 5-7 against the Ravens since his arrival, and the pass rusher has logged 19 solo tackles, 11 assists, 8.5 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries in 12 games versus the Ravens in his career.

Bengals oddly listed as trade candidate for $125M superstar

This is a stunner of a trade suggestion for the Bengals.

Ahead of the NFL trade deadline, Cincinnati Bengals fans will be lucky if the team makes even a smaller move to address depth along the offensive and defensive trenches or at cornerback.

Making a blockbuster, can’t-miss trade is simply out of the question.

Still, with Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer reporting that other teams have called the Cleveland Browns about Myles Garrett, Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay listed four trades the team the Bengals just beat wouldn’t be able to refuse.

The writeup lists the Bengals and suggests the trade package for Garrett would include first-round picks in the 2025 and 2026 drafts, plus third-round picks from those drafts and a 2026 fourth, too:

Acquiring Myles Garrett would instantly elevate a Bengals defense that has mightily struggled against top-tier opponents. If Cincinnati’s brass truly believes this team can fully reverse its early season fortunes and go on a run by adding one more piece, it would be well worth the high price of prying the reigning Defensive Player of the Year away from an in-state AFC North rival.

Barring a historic reversal in behavior though, the Bengals wouldn’t cough up a first-round pick for pretty much anyone. That includes Garrett, the guy on a $125 million contract with cap hits of roughly $20 million in each season through 2026.

Yes, Garrett and Trey Hendrickson rushing the passer would be one of the NFL’s great tandems. But beyond matters of trade compensation and cash (they still have to pay Ja’Marr Chase, too), these are in-state rivals from the AFC North, making any sort of deal between the two more unlikely.

Still, the framework for the idea is sound — the Bengals need to get Hendrickson some help. But it won’t be via sacrificing the future for the present in such a manner.

Bengals rookie Amarius Mims looked good vs. Myles Garrett, Browns

The Bengals have a hit on their hands with first-round rookie Amarius Mims.

Cincinnati Bengals first-round rookie Amarius Mims was forced into action this year after a season-ending injury to Trent Brown.

It has been a trial by fire for the rookie, with perhaps the biggest test coming during Sunday’s win over Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns.

Mims passed the test about as well as anyone could ask.

While the Browns sacked Joe Burrow three times, Garrett didn’t get one of them. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t disruptive, of course. But there was just one sack to Mims’ side all game — and as ESPN’s Ben Baby pointed out, it came on a play that nearly went six seconds and involved tight end Mike Gesicki releasing from a block to go run a route:

According to The 33rd Team, Mims allowed the fifth-lowest pressure rate (3.6 percent) of all rookie offensive linemen in Week 7.

No, Mims hasn’t been perfect and yes, there will be future mistakes. But this play is why the Bengals drafted him despite some attendance concerns on his resume and he was likely on track to steal the starting job over the summer before a pec injury.

Myles Garrett’s choice of words about fans cheering Deshaun Watson’s injury had NFL fans stunned

Myles Garrett’s choice of words on Deshaun Watson’s injury reaction left NFL fans speechless.

Myles Garrett was not pleased with Cleveland Browns fans after Deshaun Watson went down with an injury during the team’s Week 7 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.

During Sunday’s game, Watson was carted off the field after suffering a non-contact Achilles injury, one which the Browns fear might be season-ending. Watson was then replaced in the game by Dorian Thompson-Robinson, but the Browns ended up having to turn to Jameis Winston to finish the game due to Thompson-Robinson’s finger injury.

The Browns ended up losing the game 21-14 and while talking to reporters afterwards, Garrett had some choice words for Cleveland fans who reportedly were cheering at the cart coming out for Watson.

Watson, however, was once accused by more than 20 women of sexual misconduct in what the NFL would later characterize as “predatory behavior”.

NFL fans took notice of Garrett’s choice of words and were stunned at his reaction to the moment.

Myles Garrett reveals his long-term intentions with Browns amid another down season

Myles Garrett is here to stay.

After the Cleveland Browns traded one former cornerstone piece in wide receiver Amari Cooper, another one in Myles Garrett is getting questions about what his long-term intentions are.

In his eighth season in the NFL, Garrett has experienced just two winning seasons with the Browns. It is understandable that Garrett may start to consider his future options as he remains in the prime of his career and off of his first NFL Defensive Player of the Year award.

However, Garrett shut down any talk of wanting out of Cleveland:

“I want to play here, to end my career, to win here, to bring a championship here. So that does not cross my mind. I’m always focused on how we can improve, on how we can turn things around. In my mind I don’t ever think of doing anything else. We have to finish what we started. That’s the main thing to me.”

Garrett has been heavily invested in the Cleveland community. From commissioning a mural downtown to being a minority owner in the Cleveland Cavaliers, Garrett is bought in.

That’s refreshing to see as there could be a good deal of change sweeping through Berea this season.

Would the Browns trade Myles Garrett next after the Amari Cooper deal?

The Browns wouldn’t … would they?

Look, Myles Garrett is a superstar in the NFL, one of those players who is a game changer anytime he’s on the field for the Cleveland Browns. We’re talking about a defensive end who has double-digit sacks in all but one of his seasons.

But the Browns just traded Amari Cooper. They’re stuck with Deshaun Watson for the foreseeable future given his massive contract.

So … would the Browns trade Garrett?

I honestly don’t know. It feels like a bad idea given that he’s a franchise cornerstone, but how much are the Browns going to win in the next few years?

There’s speculation:

Is T.J. Watt running away with the Defensive Player of the Year race?

After two-forced fumbles and a dominant Week 6 performance overall, is T.J Watt running away with the D.P.O.Y race?

The wounds of the ‘Steel City’ faithful haven’t quite healed since T.J. Watt was snubbed for Defensive Player of the Year last season. To make matters worse, the award went to perhaps the most disliked man in all of Pittsburgh—Myles Garrett. Garrett’s impact on the Browns’ defense couldn’t be denied, but he was voted the 2023 D.P.O.Y with stats that, if Watt had produced them, Steelers fans would have considered it a down year.

Fast forward to the current season, and Watt finds himself in a similar position—lower-than-usual sack numbers but dominant performances week in and week out. He’s currently in the top fifteen for sacks and leads this group of pass rushers in tackles. Watt also ranks in the top five for tackles for loss and is tied for first in quarterback hits, while also second in forced fumbles.

If Garrett won his award for being a game-wrecker in 2023, then Watt should absolutely be considered the favorite to win in 2024, as his presence on the field allows the defense not only to force turnovers but also to take over the game entirely.

Eagles vs. Browns: Best photos from Philadelphia’s 20-16 win over Cleveland in Week 6

Best photos from Philadelphia Eagles 20-16 win over Cleveland Brown in Week 6

It wasn’t the prettiest win, but Philadelphia did enough to avoid an ugly post-bye week loss with a 20-16 victory over the 1-5 Browns in Week 6. On defense, Vic Fangio’s unit held Cleveland to 244 total yards and 3-12 on third down.  The Eagles’ rushing attack was stifled, but thanks to the return of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, Kellen Moore’s offense was able to amass 256 yards, passing 116 yards on the ground and explosive plays from their top two pass catchers. With preparation for the NFC East opener against the Giants set to begin, here are the top photos from the big win. ***
