Fans will have the opportunity to watch Michigan State football’s annual spring game on television on April 20.

Michigan State announced that its “Spring Showcase” will be televised on a tape delay on April 20. The event is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET but will be televised on the Big Ten Network at 4 p.m. ET.

The event will also be available for live stream on Big Ten Plus.

Michigan State football spring game details announced

MSU has released details for the 2023 spring game:

Michigan State has took to Twitter to announce all of the details surrounding the Spring game that is set to take place in two weeks time. The game is slated for 2:00 p.m. EST on April 15th inside of Spartan Stadium, with the doors opening at 12:30 p.m.

The format of the game has yet to be announced but there will be several things to engage fans throughout the stadium.

The game is being named ‘Spartan Football Kickoff’.

Michigan State football releases details for 2022 spring game on April 16

Check out the Michigan State football spring game details here

Michigan State football is set to host their annual spring game in just a few weeks, with the program releasing details for the event on Wednesday.

The spring game will officially begin at 2 p.m. EDT on April 16, and will be similar to last year’s event as a 15-period practice. The first half will include individual and group drills, and the second half will be live scrimmages.

Admission as always for the event is free. The stadium gates (Gates B, C, D, G, J, K) will open at 12:30 p.m. EDT.

Michigan State wrapped up its spring practice schedule on Saturday with their annual spring game at Spartan Stadium in front of approximately 6,000 fans.

“You can tell there was a little extra pep in their step, seeing the fans out there,” Michigan State head football coach Mel Tucker said after Saturday’s practice. “Our fans are so important to us, they are so passionate about the Green and White and Spartan football…That’s what Michigan State football is all about, just playing hard nose football, just everybody moving in the same direction, just pulling for the Spartans. It was excellent to see our fans back out there.”

Saturday’s spring game was more of an open practice, but there were still a number of highlight reel plays. Here is a short video clip that summarizes Saturday’s event:

Michigan State will now turn its focus to offseason workouts in preparation for the 2021 season. The Spartans open the season at Northwestern on Sept. 4.
