Broncos mock draft roundup: Quinyon Mitchell joined by 2 quarterbacks

After quarterbacks J.J. McCarthy and Bo Nix, the next most popular pick for the Broncos in NFL mock drafts is cornerback Quinyon Mitchell.

As we draw closer to the 2024 NFL draft, it’s time for another Denver Broncos mock draft roundup. Landing a quarterback is, of course, a popular option for the Broncos, but if Denver opts to go in a different direction, a cornerback has emerged as the clear non-QB favorite in mock drafts.

Here are the latest mock draft picks for the Broncos in recent projections:

In the 22 mock drafts sampled, five have J.J. McCarthy (including two trades), six have Bo Nix (including two trades) and five have Quinyon Mitchell. Terrion Arnold and Dallas Turner were featured in two mocks and Brock Bowers and Johnny Newton were picked in one mock each.

The Broncos hold eight picks, including 12th overall in the first round. The 2024 NFL draft will be held in Detroit from April 25-27.

Through nine weeks, the Minnesota Vikings have been sent 19 players across 236 mock drafts. This week saw 10 across 33 2024 NFL mock drafts.

Mock draft season is upon us and that means our mock draft roundup for the Minnesota Vikings is back!

What we do every week is track the mainstream outlets mock drafts and aggregate how many times a player gets selected. Last season, we tallied up 545 mock drafts and that included a whopping 54 different players. With the Vikings set to pick 11th overall, there will be a lot of discussions surrounding the quarterbacks in this draft along with trading up.

We will track them and try to determine trends and patterns, along with giving my own analysis on how they could fit with the Vikings.

As we barrel forward into the off-season, there has been an abundance of draft pundits and analysts, ourselves over at Vikings Wire included, that have tried to fit the perfect player with their respective teams. In Tyler Forness’ recent mock draft roundup, he finds the results for the Minnesota Vikings and their projected prospect in 175 mock drafts up to this point, leading to some entertaining results.

In all honesty, this will be the last time for a very long time that we’ll be discussing the 2024 NFL draft. The 2023 class just arrived, and the Colts are focused on bringing them up to speed at the NFL level.

So, we figured it would simply be easier to gather together all of the way-too-early 2024 mock drafts in one piece.

What the Colts will be doing in 2024 is obviously a mystery. They were the AFC South favorites like eight months ago and wound up holding the No. 4 overall pick when the 2022 season was completed. But that’s what makes this fun.
