Georgia football in four-star OLB Deontae Lawson’s top schools

The Georgia Bulldogs & numerous SEC schools made the top ten for four-star outside linebacker Deontae Lawson, who plays at Mobile Christian.

After a busy and successful 2020 signing day, Georgia football is back to the recruiting trails. Today, the Bulldogs made the top ten for four-star outside linebacker Deontae Lawson.

Lawson plays football at Mobile Christian School in Mobile, Alabama and is a member of the class of 2021. He released his top schools via Twitter:

Lawson’s top ten of UGA, Alabama, Clemson, Auburn, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Nebraska, LSU, Oregon, and Texas A&M leaves the field wide open on his recruitment. There’s loads of talented teams and excellent programs along that list.

Could Lawson be the next great linebacker at Georgia? We’ll have to wait and see. At 6-3, 208 lbs, Lawson will be adding weight before his senior season in Mobile.

Georgia currently has two commitments in the class of 2021 in David Daniel and Jared Wilson. Kirby Smart and his staff will begin to focus more and more on the class of 2021. For now, they’ll prepare for the Sugar Bowl and look to finish off the class of 2020 strong.
