Texas A&M baseball reveals new uniform combination ahead of the 2025 season

Here is Texas A&M newest uniform combo ahead of the 2025 season

Texas A&M’s 2025 baseball season could be one of the record books as new head coach Michael Earley enters the program with massive expectations after inheriting one of the country’s most talented and veteran-laden rosters.

Last summer, just a couple of days after the Aggies lost to Tennessee in the deciding game of the 2024 National Championship, then-head coach Jim Schlossnagle’s sudden departure to take over the vacant Texas Longhorns coaching position sent shock waves through mainstream sports media, mainly due to the lack of ethics surrounding his exit.

Earley, who briefly followed Schlossnagle to the 40 acres, swiftly returned to College Station after accepting his first head coaching position, spurring nearly every 2024 starter and key starter returning to the roster, led by future first-round pick Jace LaViolette.

This week, Texas A&M’s social media team revealed the program’s newest uniform combination: the Aggies will wear a solid white jersey with maroon lettering and white pants for several series this season.

The Aggies start the campaign against Elon at Blue Bell Park on Valentine’s Day at 6 p.m.

With the season a month out there is an expectation we’ll see more publications naming him to their All-American list along with several other Aggies. Below you can view the announcement via X.

Where is Texas A&M’s baseball ranked in Perfect Games’ preseason Top 25?

Texas A&M’s 2025 baseball season could start with the Aggies holding the No. 1-ranking in most major polls

New Texas head baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle’s departure from Texas A&M just days after the Aggie’s national championship loss to Tennessee will live in infamy among the fan base for years to come.

However, new Texas A&M coach Michael Earley looks like the real deal after serving as the program’s hitting coach from 2022-2024. While he briefly left for the same position under Schlossnagle at Texas, taking over a program on the rise was a no-brainer, even at the young age of 36.

During the offseason, Earley’s hiring spurred several key returns to the roster, led by star hitters Jace LaViolette and Gavin Grahovic. At the same time, ace pitcher Ryan Prager decided to forgo his MLB future and return for a final season to round out a highly talented pitching rotation.

On paper, Texas A&M’s 2025 roster is as talented and experienced as it gets. It includes a handful of transfer additions, including former Texas Tech first baseman Gavin Kash, who brings a ton of power to an already strong lineup.

On Monday, Perfect Game released its first 2025 preseason baseball rankings, and the SEC once again dominates the rankings with ten teams. To some surprise, Texas A&M came in at No. 1 for the first time in program history. Here is the complete top 25.

  1. Texas A&M
  2. LSU
  3. Virginia
  4. Georgia
  5. Tennessee
  6. Florida State
  7. Texas
  8. Clemson
  9. Duke
  10. Oregon State
  11. Florida
  12. Arizona
  13. Arkansas
  14. Oregon
  15. Vanderbilt
  16. Wake Forest
  17. Dallas Baptist
  18. TCU
  19. North Carolina
  20. Oklahoma
  21. West Virginia
  22. Auburn

Watch every homerun from Texas A&M OF Jace LaViolette

With 50 days until the Texas A&M baseball season let’s take a look at Jace LaViolette’s 50 career home runs

Texas A&M’s 2025 baseball season is just 49 days away, and the Aggies are bringing back the 2024 College World Series team under the new but familiar leadership of Mike Earley.

Junior All-American Jace LaViolette will lead them as they look to make another historic run to the CWS, and he will have an opportunity to re-write the A&M record books in the process. Sitting at 50 career home runs, he is seven shy of passing Daylon Holt for the most home runs in Texas A&M history.

To this point, LaViolette has lived up to all the hype thrust upon him after he committed to Texas A&M a few years back. If he gets off to the same pace as last season, he’ll have the record before March, and then it will just be about putting distance between him and the next great home run hitter to grace Aggieland.

With two months until the start of the college baseball season, this is the perfect time to look back at his 50 career home runs.

2026 P/INF Chandler Hart has committed to Texas A&M baseball

Texas A&M baseball earns another commitment from a talented 2026 pitcher/infielder out of Allen, TX.

Texas A&M baseball coach Michael Earley continues to stack pitchers, getting a commitment from a top player in Texas. On Wednesday, pitcher Chandler Hart, out of Allen, TX, announced via social media that he will join the Aggies in Bryan, College Station.

Hart is an LHP who gets time at first base and has a nice swing. He is one of the top 2-way players in the state of Texas who towers over opponents at the mound, measuring in at 6’5″ and 200 pounds. He throws in the low 90s for his fastball, and his command of his pitches has been leading to a ton of swings & misses.

His frame alone as a junior in high school already has him on the radar of a few pro clubs, making this another “wait-and-see” situation if he makes it onto campus after his senior season.

The 2024 Texas A&M baseball team will be honored at Kyle Field on Saturday

The 2024 Texas A&M baseball team will finally get the recognition they deserve at Kyle Field on Saturday

Last season was very special for the Texas A&M baseball team. As a preseason top-10 team, they met expectations by reaching the College World Series Championship. A heartbreaking series loss hurt, but it ignited the program with some eagerness about the future.

Even though we typically don’t throw parades for second place, they deserved to be recognized for taking A&M to a national championship in one of the big three sports. Instead, the little shine the players should have received was hijacked by the announcement that head coach Jim Schlossnagle was leaving, taking the coaching staff with him.

To add insult to injury, he did it less than 24 hours after hinting he was staying in Aggieland to build something. Then, to leave for Texas, the arch-nemesis of A&M set college sports on fire. So, a national search kicked off, and they ended up right back at home, hiring assistant coach Mike Earley as the new head coach. He was able to retain a majority of the roster and will have a tier squad for the 2025 season

According to TexAgs’ Ryan Brauninger, the 2023-2024 team will be recognized during Texas A&M’s season finale vs. the Texas Longhorns on Saturday night.

2026 INF/P Connor Comeau has committed to Texas A&M baseball

Texas A&M baseball earns commitment from a talented 2026 infielder out of Austin, TX

Texas A&M baseball coach Michael Earley continues to roll, getting a commitment from a top player in Texas. On Monday, infielder Conner Comeau, out of Austin, TX, announced via social media that he will join the Aggies in Bryan, College Station.

Comeau is another commit who might not make it onto campus to play a game at Olsen Field. At 6′-4″ and 180 lbs., he has a good frame to build on and is one good offseason away from having MLB size. The 2026 grad has a Perfect Game grade of 10 and is a top-30 shortstop in the class.

He will be an interesting name to keep an eye on when the MLB draft rolls around, but for now, we’ll congratulate Comeau on his commitment and wish him a healthy season.

2026 INF Trey Ebel has committed to Texas A&M

Texas A&M baseball earns commitment from a talented 2026 infielder out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA

Texas A&M baseball coach Michael Earley continues to roll getting a commitment from a top player in California. On Sunday morning, infielder Trey Ebel, out of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, announced via social media that he will join the Aggies in Bryan, College Station.

Ebel is a legit glove in the infield and is jumping up Prep Baseball California’s 2026 player rankings. Last season he helped lead his team to a CIF-SS D1 title while also being named to Perfect Game’s All-Star game and the USA Baseball 15U team.

The Aggie baseball team wrapped up fall ball and added a talented player from the West Coast. Coach Earley has something brewing in College Station and hopefully, he can have similar success as former Aggie assistant coach to head coach Mike Elko.

2025 INF Boston Kellner has committed to Texas A&M baseball

Texas A&M baseball earns commitment from an athletic INF out of Chandler, AZ

Texas A&M baseball coaches Michael Earley and John Kelly landed a commitment from an extremely athletic infielder who can play anywhere on the field. On Monday afternoon, athlete Boston Kellner, out of Chandler, AZ, announced via social media that he will join the Aggies in Bryan, College Station.

Kellner’s 6-0 205lb frame brings a lot of power, similar to Jace LaViolette and Gavin Grahovac. Arizona’s No.3 ranked prospect was named to Prep Baseball’s 2024 Arizona All-State First Team and Perfect Game USA’s 2024 National High School Underclass Player of the Year.

With LaViolette more than likely headed off to the MLB draft after this season, Kellner is a good option to fill that void. Like all these top prospects, the MLB draft is also a possibility for Kellner, but in the meantime, this is a strong pick that can bring a live bat into the lineup.

Texas A&M has the No. 2-ranked newcomers class per Baseball America

The Texas A&M baseball team comes in ranked No. 2 in Baseball America’s 2025 newcomer class

Former head baseball coach Jim Schlossnagle left Texas A&M for rival Texas hours after the team lost to Tennessee in the College World Series, sending the program into a frenzy.

At the drop of a hat, several stars from the 2024 roster entered the transfer portal, and the university quickly went on a nationwide search. However, Texas A&M Athletic Director Trev Alberts didn’t have to look far after signing player favorite and hitting coach Mike Earley.

So far this offseason, Earley’s hiring has looked like the right choice. Star hitters, including Jace LaViolette and Gavin Grahovic, withdrew their names from the portal, while ace pitcher Ryan Prager put his MLB future on hold. Just as important, they held on to a number of top transfers and recruits.

They brought in seven players ranked in Baseball America’s Top 100 and two freshmen in the Top 500. Below, you can see the players and their ranking:

TRANSFERS:

  • Myles Patton – Pitcher – No. 11
  • Wyatt Henseler – Infield – No. 24
  • Gavin Kash – Infield – No. 25
  • Conner Harrison – Catcher – No. 31
  • Grant Cunningham – Pitcher – No. 35
  • Jacob Galloway – Catcher – No. 61
  • Jamal George – Infielder/Catcher – No. 68

FRESHMEN:

  • Sawyer Farr – No. 76
  • Terrence Kiel II No. 133
