Michigan State football offers 2023 Georgia running back

MSU has sent out an offer to a 2023 running back out of Georgia

The Michigan State coaching staff has sent out an offer to a running back in the 2023 recruiting class. T.J. Harvison has received an offer from Spartans running backs coach Effrem Reed.

Harvison is a 6-foot-1, 190-pound running back from Bowdon, Georgia, attending Bowdon High School. He has yet to receive a ranking from the 247Sports composite.

Michigan State joins Boston College, Colorado, Kentucky, Ole Miss and Virginia in offering the running back.

Michigan State football offers 2023 Wisconsin DL commit

Michigan State is in pursuit of a defensive tackle currently committed to Wisconsin

Michigan State has gotten into the mix with a 2023 defensive line recruit who is currently committed to the Wisconsin Badgers.

Roderick Pierce is the latest target to make his way onto the Spartans recruiting board. The Oak Lawn, Illinois, native attends Brother Rice High School in Illinois.

A 6-foot-3, 290-pound defensive lineman, Pierce ranks as a high 3-star prospect with an 89 rating according to 247Sports.

Michigan State will look to bring Pierce up to campus for a visit.

Michigan State football offers 2023 NJ safety

Another significant offer has been sent out in the 2023 recruiting class

The Michigan State coaching staff has sent out a significant offer to the 2023 recruiting class. New Jersey defensive back Saboor Karriem has received an offer from the Spartans coaching staff.

Karriem is a native of West Orange, New Jersey, and projects as a safety in college. Standing at 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds, Karriem possesses great size and length at the safety position. He is currently ranked as a 3-star prospect.

Along with the Spartans: Boston College, Duke, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Louisville, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia and Wisconsin have all offered the safety.

a 4-star RB in the 2024 recruiting class has included the Spartans in his top school’s list:

Boo Carter is one of the most sought after running backs in the 2024 recruiting class. The Michigan State Spartans have been prioritizing Carter for quite awhile now, and the reaped some benefits early in the recruitment.

Carter has cut his top school’s list down to twelve teams and MSU has made the cut.

Michigan State is featured alongside Clemson, Jackson State, Ole Miss, Oregon, Kentucky, Tennessee, Penn State, Michigan, Miami, LSU and Arizona State.

Carter is a 4-star prospect that ranks No. 251 nationally according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He attends Chattanooga Christian School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Michigan State was featured in 4-star QB Demond Williams Jr.’s top ten, the son of former Spartan Demond Williams Sr.

Michigan State is ramping up their recruiting momentum. The Spartans picked up some more good news on Tuesday, being featured in Demond Williams Jr.’s top ten.

Williams is the son of Demond Williams, who played cornerback at Michigan State in 2005 and 2006.

Williams currently ranks as the No. 121 overall player and the No. 9 quarterback in the 2023 recruiting class according to 247Sports.

Michigan State is in the top ten alongside Utah, Arkansas, UCLA, California, Oregon, Virginia Tech, Arizona, Ole Miss and Arizona State.

MSU has gotten into the mix with a top-100 cornerback in the 2023 recruiting class:

With the recruiting cycle coming to a close, Michigan State’s coaching staff will look to add around 10 more commits to its 2023 recruiting class. Among the positions of need, defensive back is near the top of the list, and the Spartans have gotten into the mix with a top talent at the cornerback position.

The Michigan State staff has sent out an offer to Rodrick Pleasant, a cornerback from Gardena, California. Pleasant currently ranks as the No. 82 overall player and No. 8 cornerback in the 2023 recruiting class according to 247Sports.

Michigan State football loses commitment from 4-star OL

MSU has lost a commitment from a 4-star offensive lineman on Monday

While Michigan State’s recruiting momentum has been going strong, even throughout a tough season, has suffered a slight setback on Monday evening.

4-star Clay Wedin, an offensive lineman from Tampa, Florida, has decided to de-commit from the Michigan State Spartans.

The Spartans still have a plethora of offensive line targets still on their recruiting board, so they will look to replace Wedin in the coming weeks.

Michigan State basketball offers 2024 Ohio guard

MSU has extended an offer to a 2024 Ohio combo guard

With Michigan State securing a top-5 recruiting class in 2023, Tom Izzo has focused a lot of attention to the 2024 recruiting class. That continued Saturday.

Izzo and his staff have extended an offer to 2024 Ohio guard Jonathan Powell. Powell is a native of Dayton, Ohio.

Michigan State joins the likes of Ohio State, Alabama, Illinois and Indiana, among others, in offerring the 6-foot-6 combo guard.

Powell currently ranks as the No. 80 overall recruit in the 2024 class as a 4-star prospect according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Michigan State football offers JUCO OL Keyshawn Blackstock

Michigan State offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic has sent out a very significant 2023 offer to a JUCO offensive lineman

Michigan State offensive line coach Chris Kapilovic sent out a very significant offer on Tuesday night, offering offensive lineman Keyshawn Blackstock.

Blackstock is a 6-foot-5, 315-pound interior offensive lineman from Covington, Georgia. Upon graduating high school in 2021, he has attended Coffeyville Community College where he has spent the past two seasons playing.

The significance of the offer, is this late in the cycle, the Spartans see something in Blackstock to put him in the top tier of their recruiting board. Furthermore, with Blackstock being a junior college transfer, he may be able to contribute very early in his arrival to campus.

Blackstock also holds significant offers from Auburn, Colorado, Mississippi State, Missouri, Oklahoma State and Penn State.

Michigan State football picks up commitment from 2024 4-star CB Jamari Howard

BREAKING: Michigan State football has picked up its second 4-star prospect for the 2024 recruiting class

In a week where a lot of Michigan State fans are feeling down, the recruiting prowess of Mel Tucker and his staff have come through with a jolt of energy to the fan base.

Michigan State has picked up a commitment from Jamari Howard, a 4-star cornerback in the 2024 recruiting class.

Howard is a native of Hialeah, Florida, attending Westland Hialeah High School. He currently ranks as the No. 171 overall recruit and the No. 16 overall cornerback in the 2024 class, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Howard joins fellow 4-star Nick Marsh as the second member of Michigan State’s 2024 recruiting class.
