Damian Lillard hilariously tried to put his mask on while wearing headset during an interview

This is amazing.

We’re living in the middle of a pandemic, so wearing a mask at all times while out in public is essential.

Damian Lillard gets that. He might be in the middle of an NBA season and putting on MVP caliber performances night in and night out, but he never forgets to put that mask on when the time comes.

That led to a hilarious moment on Wednesday night after the Blazers beat the Pelicans in a 126-124 shootout. He put up 43 points and 16 assists in the big win and made play after play for the Blazers.

Of course, Lillard had the postgame interview. But that’s where the funniest moment of the night came in.

Lillard tried to put his mask on in the middle of the interview while wearing a headset. It took a second, but he realized that he was tripping.

FAM. That is hilarious. The face that he makes when he realizes why he’s struggling to put that mask on is priceless.

Lillard logged onto Twitter later to confirm that he was, in fact, tripping.

Just incredible, man. Don’t worry, Dame. It happens to us all. At least we know that masking up is a priority for him. That’s always a good thing.

Even if it leads to a funny moment like this one.

At some point in life I hope to do something and look nearly as cool as these dudes playing basketball in their office gym.

Comedian Soufiane Bernoukh and his friends are playing basketball on a mini basketball hoop and it honestly looks way cooler than the real thing — somehow.

Dude is eurostepping, dunking and shooting no-look shots all over the place. And they’re all dropping. At first it’s pretty wild to look at, and then you just marvel at how absolutely cool he looks doing it.

And to top it all off they’ve even added NBA music and sound effects. This entire thing is just one big masterpiece.

We have to get this guy in the celebrity All-Star game when everything opens back up. Bruh was really getting buckets on dudes on a mini hoop. You absolutely love to see it.

John Calipari’s sad appearance after fifth straight Kentucky loss became an instant meme

Following Kentucky’s fifth straight loss, John Calipari’s dejected press appearance became an instant meme.

The University of Kentucky is off to its worst start under John Calipari, and arguably its worst start since … honestly I don’t know when. The Wildcats are 1-5, something the team has only done four times in its history, and not since 1926. Kentucky has lost five straight. Things are bad right now.

The most recent loss came on Saturday to UNC, a game that was pretty interesting at first — UK led by four at the half — before Kentucky’s lack of discipline and failure to make plays doomed them. Four UK players fouled out. The game ended with one Kentucky player, Terrence Clarke, leaving the court before the game ended.

Again, things are bad right now. And that all led to this appearance by Coach Calipari at the end of the game.

The harsh lighting and dejected look of a man whose team is 1-5 was not only the perfect representation of how Kentucky fans feel right now, but also how just about everyone feels having gone through 2020.

Cam Newton’s sideline interaction with N’Keal Harry immediately became a meme

So good.

It’s almost like Cam Newton knew the cameras were on him. The reaction was that perfect.

The New England Patriots improved to 2-1 on Sunday with their Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. And with just under two minutes remaining in the game, CBS cameras focused in on a conversation between Newton and wide receiver N’Keal Harry on the bench.

Harry said something to Newton that had the Patriots quarterback breaking out a classic meme-worthy reaction and sliding down his seat. Again, the fact that the moment was captured live on the broadcast was just too perfect.

It immediately became a meme.

Asked after the game what Harry said, Newton declined to reveal the details of that conversation.

But we saw that meme make rounds on Twitter throughout Sunday.

Sure, the Lakers are the second best team in the NBA by record.

Just Thursday, LeBron James gave us the best meme of the NBA’s restart when he locked up Kawhi Leonard in the final seconds of the Lakers’ opening bubble game against the Clippers. It was an amazing moment but one that happened on the court.

NASA didn’t actually prove a parallel universe exists but these jokes are still funny

Sorry to disappoint you, folks

By now you’ve probably seen a ton of headlines all over the internet alluding to NASA researches in Antarctica finding proof of the existence of a universe parallel to ours where time actually moves backwards.

But, here’s the thing: That’s not actually true.

What actually happened is pretty interesting, but it’s not what you think. This all stems from a story published by New Scientist from a few weeks back on a research paper published on rare particles detected by the Antarctic Impulsive Transient Antenna (ANITA), which is a radio telescope used to capture cosmic ray neutrinos from a scientific balloon.

Normally, the neutrinos come from space. They’re not a problem — they pass right through solid objects, generally. But during this event, the neutrinos were coming from the earth’s interior instead of space.

Weird! And definitely an anomaly. But it also does not mean that, as some have asserted, there is a backwards moving parallel universe out there chilling.

Ibrahim Safa, the lead writer of the paper, said so himself.

Of course, that didn’t stop people from freaking out about the headlines they saw.

But on the other hand? I can’t lie to y’all. Some of these jokes are pretty dang funny.
