The Georgia Bulldogs have received a re-commitment from 2021 three-star defensive tackle Marlin Dean
The Georgia Bulldogs received an initial commitment from three-star defensive tackle Marlin Dean back in March. Dean decided to back off his commitment in July.
Now, Dean is re-committing to the University of Georgia. Today is a special day for him because it is him mom’s birthday.
Dean is a high school football player that previously played for Elbert County High School, which is located in Elberton, Georgia. Dean now plays for high school sports powerhouse IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
He is a member in the class of 2021 and was Kirby Smart’s first commitment in the trenches for the class back in March. During his four seasons in Athens, Smart has transformed the trenches on both sides of the football.
Dean announced his intentions of re-committing via his Twitter account:
Georgia football currently has 15 commitments in the class of 2021. The Bulldogs and defensive coordinator Dan Lanning now their first defensive tackle commitment in the class in Marlin Dean. Kirby Smart and Georgia currently have the country’s 11th rated recruiting class.
We will continue to update you throughout Dean’s recruitment and for the entire class of 2021. Georgia still has a lot of work to do before they’ll have an elite class. The Dawgs had the nation’s best recruiting class in 2020.
