Peyton Manning stars in promo for ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’

Peyton and Eli Manning star in a funny new commercial promoting the new ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ movie.

The dynamic duo of Peyton and Eli Manning recently added to their impressive post-career achievements with a new advertisement promoting the new film “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.”

The Omaha Production’s spot features the former signal-callers in their “quarter-zip” jackets, which the former Bronco declares are “the perfect item of clothing to defeat a death chill.”

The next scene shows the brothers joining Ghostbusters old and new, in Ghostbusting quarter-zip jackets that have actor Paul Rudd lamenting, “Damn, they stole our gear!” As a monster descends upon the ghost-busting crowd, Eli, suggesting the entity is too powerful, says that he and Peyton should flee. Peyton, with his signature wit replies, “We’re pocket passers! We can’t run!”

Check out the funny promo below:

This spot continues the success of the First Family of Football, who won a Sports Emmy in 2022 for their dual production of the “ManningCast,” as well as the successful Omaha Productions programs including “Peyton’s Places” and “Eli’s Places” on ESPN Plus.

“Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” debuts in theaters on March 22.

Twitter reacts to Arch Manning’s college football debut

Peyton Manning’s nephew, Arch, made his college football debut on Black Friday. Here’s how social media reacted.

The Texas Longhorns dominated Texas Tech in a 57-7 blowout victory on Black Friday, providing an opportunity for true freshman quarterback Arch Manning to make his college football debut.

Arch, the son of Cooper Manning and nephew of former NFL quarterbacks Peyton and Eli, had a modest (yet intriguing) performance. Manning went 2-of-5 passing for 30 yards. He also made a few plays with his feet.

Arch’s father, Cooper, was a star wide receiver in high school, but his football career was cut short before college by spinal stenosis. Following the retirements of Peyton and Eli, Cooper has been included in several commercials with his brothers.

Peyton, Eli and Cooper, of course, are the sons of Archie and Olivia Manning. Archie had a 14-year career as a quarterback in the NFL, spending time with the New Orleans Saints, Houston Oilers and Minnesota Vikings. A two-time Pro Bowler, Arche is a member of the Saints’ Hall of Fame.

Arch is now the latest Manning to play quarterback. Check out how Twitter/X reacted to his Texas debut below.

Arch Manning won’t take NIL money until he wins a starting job

Following the instruction of his grandfather, Archie, freshman Texas QB Arch Manning won’t take any NIL deals until he wins a starting job.

With the second-highest name, image, likeness (NIL) valuation in the country, quarterback Arch Manning will have the opportunity to make a lot of money through sponsorships even before potentially reaching the NFL.

The freshman quarterback who is set to attend the University of Texas does not plan to tap into NIL marketing until he’s won a starting job, though.

Arch is the grandson of Archie Manning and the son of Cooper Manning, a former high school star who had his football career cut shut due to spinal stenosis.

Archie has had a big influence on his grandson and he has told Arch to not take NIL money until he’s won a starting job with the Longhorns.

“The beauty of it for us, his NIL value — whatever it is — his grandpa won’t let him take any NIL money,” Texas coach Steve Sarkisian said in a recent interview with The Athletic. “He said, ‘You can take money when you become a player and you start.’”

Sarkisian has previously said Quinn Ewers is set to start in 2023, so Arch will begin his college career as a backup this fall.

As the nephew of Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli, Arch has received some criticism from skeptics who believe he’s overrated based on his name. Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain recently came to the defense of Arch on Twitter after the QB’s underwhelming spring game.

Arch has a long way to go before potentially being paid by an NFL team, but he could be paid in endorsements well before then. The freshman quarterback won’t accept NIL money until he’s earned it, though, based on Archie’s instruction.

Peyton Manning continues to expand his media ventures.

Arch Manning has the 2nd-highest NIL valuation in 2023

Arch Manning has the second-highest NIL valuation ($3.8 million) in the country, only trailing Bronny James, according to @On3NIL.

Arch Manning hasn’t even played a single down at the University of Texas yet, but he’s already one of the most marketable college athletes in the country.

Manning has the second-highest name, image, likeness (NIL) valuation in the U.S. in 2023, according to On3.com, a company that utilizes data and technology to evaluate athlete market values and create “a more efficient marketplace,” according to its website.

Manning has an estimated NIL valuation of $3.8 million, trailing only Bronny James ($12.6 million), the son of NBA star LeBron James.

Manning is ranked above the likes of LSU gymnast Livvy Dunne ($3.3 million), USC quarterback Caleb Williams ($2.6 million), CU Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders ($1.6 million) and Ohio State receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. ($1.3 million).

Arch is the grandson of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning and the son of Cooper Manning, who had his football career cut short in college by spinal stenosis. Arch was a star high school QB at Isidore Newman in Louisiana, breaking passing records that were previously held by his uncles, Peyton and Eli. Arch is now set to join the Longhorns this fall.

Because the NFL requires prospects to be at least three years removed from high school, the earliest Arch could declare for the NFL draft is 2026. He will have plenty of opportunities to get paid before potentially going pro, though, thanks to his NIL possibilities.

WATCH: Peyton Manning’s son, Marshall, shows off strong arm at the Pro Bowl

Yup, that’s 11-year-old Marshall Manning slinging it at the Pro Bowl.

Look out, the next great Manning quarterback might be on the way.

Marshall Manning, the son of five-time NFL MVP Peyton Manning, is 11 years old now and has been growing up on the sidelines of NFL games. He’s been coached by his dad — and some of Peyton’s former teammates — in flag football for several years now, and Marshall has developed quite the arm.

Marshall is in Las Vegas this week to attend the Pro Bowl Games. The AFC is being coached by Peyton while the NFC is being coached by Eli Manning (the brothers teamed up to film some funny commercials to promote the Pro Bowl).

Before the Pro Bowl’s flag football game on Sunday, Marshall showed off his arm by connecting with former Indianapolis Colts tight end Marcus Pollard, who was covered by ex-Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis.

Check it out:

https://www.instagram.com/p/CoSbJH9JpJG/

“That’s a good little arm now,” Lewis said after the pass.

Catching passes from a Manning is nothing new for Pollard, who totaled 34 touchdown receptions during his seven-year run with Peyton in Indy.

It looks like Marshall threw from about the 10-yard line to about the 20-yard line, which would be about a 20-yard pass on the Pro Bowl’s modified 50-yard field. Not bad for an 11-year-old kid.

Another deep pass from Manning:

And a strike from the AFC’s practice last night:

Marshall’s older cousin, Arch (the son of Peyton and Eli’s brother, Cooper) just completed a record-breaking high school career at Isidore Newman in Louisiana and he’s now set to play college football for the University of Texas. The Manning’s football story might not be over just yet.

WATCH: Best highlights from the ‘ManningCast’ in 2022

We are big fans of the ‘ManningCast’ and we’re glad it will return in 2023! Here are highlights from 2022 👇

Peyton Manning and his brother, Eli, returned to ESPN2 for a second season of the ManningCast in 2022, serving as commentators for alternate broadcasts of ten Monday Night Football games last season.

Season 2 of the broadcast features several hilarious moments, including a few painfully funny reactions from Peyton — like when the Denver Broncos botched their clock management against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1.

Later in the year, Eli caused a stir when he joked that the Broncos should have given their punter a big contract instead of quarterback Russell Wilson when the team’s offense was struggling. Wilson wasn’t offended by the jab.

The Manning brothers went viral in October when they reacted to a streaker running on the field during a San Francisco 49ers-Los Angeles Rams game. That was one of the broadcast’s top highlights of the season.

Omaha Productions, Peyton’s company that produces the ManningCast, shared highlights from Season 2 on YouTube:

They also shared a shorter clip on Twitter:

Good news: Peyton and Eli will return for Season 3 in 2023.

Eli Manning teaches Demario Davis how to rip ‘Peyton’ in half in Pro Bowl commercial

Eli Manning teaches Demario Davis how to rip [tackling dummy] “Peyton” in half in the NFL’s latest commercial for the Pro Bowl 🤣

The sibling rivalry between Peyton Manning (AFC) and Eli Manning (NFC) continues as the brothers prepare to coach against each other in the 2023 Pro Bowl Games next week.

After arguing over which conference is better in their first commercial for this year’s Pro Bowl and recreating a viral meme scene from Zoolander, Eli and Peyton are back with another funny commercial promoting the all-star flag football game.

Well, Eli’s back, joined by a stand-in Peyton.

In the new commercial, Eli has put a picture of Peyton’s face over a tackling dummy to use as an example of how to rip a flag. Eli tells New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis to “grip it and rip it.”

Davis does so, ripping Peyton (the tackling dummy) in half.

“Too much rip?” Davis asks.

“No, that’s perfect,” a shocked Eli replies.

Then, of course, the zinger: “Wonder if we can get Peyton in the game?”

This year’s flag football Pro Bowl game will air on ESPN, ABC and Disney XD on Sunday, Feb. 5.

Peyton and Eli Manning recreate viral ‘I’m not your brah’ meme scene from ‘Zoolander’

Peyton and Eli Manning recreated the meme-worthy “I’m not your brah” scene from Zoolander, and it’s perfect.

Peyton and Eli Manning have a faux sibling rival that has been used in marketing dating back to their famous “This is SportsCenter” ad campaign from 2006.

The NFL has tapped into that marketable “sibling rivalry” by pitting Peyton (AFC) against Eli (NFC) as the two coaches for this year’s Pro Bowl Games. Peyton and Eli have already released several commercials promoting the Pro Bowl’s flag football game, including one in which Peyton declares “Mom loves the AFC more.”

The brothers also released a spoof recreation of a famous scene from the 2001 film Zoolander that has recently become a viral meme. From the NFL’s official Twitter page:

In the original, “Derek Zoolander” (Ben Stiller) delivers the “You’re excused, and I’m not your brah” comeback line to “Hansel” (Owen Wilson).

Peyton plays the part of “Zoolander” and Eli plays “Hansel,” adding on “Yes you are” as a nice touch that personalizes the message for the Mannings.

This year’s flag football Pro Bowl game will air on ESPN, ABC and Disney XD on Sunday, Feb. 5.

Cooper Manning had a funny ‘third-favorite’ Brock Purdy promo on Fox

“Is this some type of metaphor about me? Nah, couldn’t be.” 😅

Fox found a perfect candidate to promote the San Francisco 49ers’ divisional-round playoff game against the Dallas Cowboys over the weekend.

In the promo, Cooper Manning, the brother of Super Bowl-winning quarterbacks Peyton and Eli, recounted the Niners’ two quarterback injuries that led them to their third-choice option, Brock Purdy.

“So here they are, on quarterback No. 3, three wins away from striking that familiar goal,” Cooper said in the promo. “Brock Purdy, maybe he started off as a third option — the third favorite — but maybe that third favorite was the perfect choice all along?”

Check out the video from the NFL on Fox:

It was clearly a clever way of alluding to Cooper being known as the “third” Manning brother due to the success of Peyton and Eli as QBs. At the end of the video, though, the good-natured Cooper denies the correlation.

“Is this some type of metaphor about me? Nah, couldn’t be.”

Cooper was a star wide receiver in high school but his football career was cut short before college by spinal stenosis. Cooper has been more involved in marketing with Peyton and Eli lately, and his son, Arch, is one of the top QB prospects in the country who has committed to play college football at the University of Texas beginning this fall.

It’s clear that Cooper, much like Peyton and Eli, has a good sense of humor.
