Ducks now projected to land pair of top-100 players, rising QB in 2024 class

The Ducks seem to be as hot as any team on the recruiting trail at the moment.

If you hadn’t been paying attention over the past couple of weeks, it’s now become incredibly clear that the Oregon Ducks are among the nation’s hottest teams in the recruiting world right now.

The last seven days saw them pick up commitments from 4-star CB Aaron Flowers and 4-star DL Tionne Gray, as well as an in-state commitment from 3-star OL Trent Ferguson, moving them to well inside the top 10 rankings nationally. On top of that, a flurry of recruiting predictions has started to come in over the past couple of days, predicting that more high-end 4-star talent is on the way.

On Thursday, 247Sports Recruiting Director Steve Wiltfong put in a prediction that Oregon would be the landing spot for 4-star WR Dillon Gresham.

On Friday, Wiltfong and fellow 247Sports colleague Greg Biggins logged multiple predictions for the Ducks. Here’s more info on the players that Oregon is projected to land, and where that would leave them in the national rankings should it all come to fruition.

Oregon QB target Luke Moga announces commitment date

Luke Moga, an Oregon QB target in the 2024 class, will announce his commitment later this month.

The Oregon Ducks could be finding out about one of their major recruiting targets in the coming weeks.

3-star quarterback Luke Moga, one of the top QB targets for Oregon in the 2024 class, announced that he would be making his commitment official on April 28th. Moga, who is rated as the No. 33 QB in the 2024 class, has the Ducks among his top schools, and will be taking another visit to Eugene in the coming weeks.

Though Moga is not considered highly rated, the Ducks have been keen on his abilities and high on his potential to grow as a passer. He has quickly started to rise up a lot of recruiting boards, and could very well see his recruiting ranking improve over the coming months.

Resetting Michigan State football’s 2024 QB recruiting board

Michigan State has done a full reset to its 2024 QB recruiting board, check out who the Spartans are going to target:

Michigan State is looking to build momentum on the recruiting trail for 2024. Currently, the Spartans only hold two commitments, both in the defensive backfield. As summer approaches, the MSU coaching staff will continue to build the class.

The QB position has been a roller coaster so far in the 2024 cycle for MSU. In the last edition of resetting MSU’s 2024 QB board, we had five quarterbacks on the list; only one holdover is on this list.

That problem stemmed from the staff not pursuing Davi Belfort’s commitment, allowing him to choose Virginia Tech, losing highly touted four-star Jake Merklinger to Tennessee and Daniel Kaelin choosing Missouri before visiting East Lansing.

Now, OC Jay Johnson is left resetting his QB board, and we have some clarity on what it looks like:
