The Jason Kelce era is over, as the Eagles All-Pro center announced his retirement from the NFL after 13 legendary seasons.

Kelce addressed his future during the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl media sessions, stating that he’d announce it in the coming weeks, and that time came on Monday, March 4, 2024.

Kylie Kelce couldn’t bear to watch the Super Bowl out of superstition stress and it’s wonderfully hilarious

Kylie Kelce is a true fan. Sometimes you just can’t watch.

Sunday evening, everyone inside Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas had all of their attention focused on the field as the Kansas City Chiefs squared off against the San Francisco 49ers in a tense battle for the Super Bowl.

Well, almost everyone.

Kylie Kelce, the sister-in-law of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, couldn’t bear the stress. Kelce is incredibly superstitious — no, seriously she’s so superstitious she will move seats and kick people out of the room if they’re bad luck — and at some point of the game, she decided she literally couldn’t watch anymore.

In an Instagram story posted Tuesday, Kelce said she had resorted to just watching the reactions of friend Sarah King in the suite.

King verified the hilarious situation, sharing a video of Kelce with back to the field and nervously fidgeting.

Kylie, you’re a real one.

Kylie Kelce is so relatably superstitious she will kick you out if you’re bad luck

Yes, Kelce will make you move seats if she needs to.

Kylie Kelce does not play when it comes to sports. It’s probably not wildly surprising considering she’s been married to Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce since 2018, but her love of sports goes back way further than that.

Kylie played field hockey at Cabrini University in Pennsylvania, earning Rookie of the Year honors for the Colonial States Athletic Conference in 2013 and CSAC first-team honors twice in her career (2014, 2016).

Her experience as a player, and now a player’s wife, has helped her develop what she calls some superstitious “quirks”.

“I would lean towards [calling them] quirky only because it it takes a nice positive twist on it. I think quirky, such a cute word,” Kelce told For The Win in a recent interview for a Lindt chocolate partnership. “And it’s like, yes, my superstitions are cute. No, they’re actually a little over the top.”

Kelce has said her superstitions have manifested in everything from moving seats to making others stay out of the room if her favorite team’s tide turns when they leave.

“I’m okay with that,” Kelce said. “Like, I feel like I’m doing my part.”

If you want to know just how serious she is, her superstitions even stretch to household chores like laundry.

“There was one time where I was folding laundry, and I bent down next to the basket and they had like a really good catch,” Kelce explained with a self-deprecating laugh. “Then I had to stay bent down next to the basket. I will hold a position as long as I need to you know, so I absolutely am superstitious.”

We don’t know if Kylie will be in a suite for the Super Bowl, but if she is, you better be willing to move seats if things aren’t going well.

In true Eagles’ fan fashion, Kylie Kelce will never wear Chiefs gear to support brother-in-law Travis

Kelce, an Eagles fan, has a very reasonable take on game day attire to support brother-in-law Travis Kelce.

Kylie Kelce, the wife of Eagles center Jason and sister-in-law of Chiefs tight end Travis, is a Philadelphia fan through-and-through. She will be in Las Vegas to support Travis in Super Bowl 58, but there’s one thing she absolutely will not be doing: wearing Kansas City gear.

“I mean, I just can’t do it,” Kelce told For The Win in a recent interview while talking about her deal with Lindor chocolate maker Lindt. “I will cheer on Travis every single day of the week, forever. But I won’t wear Chiefs stuff.”

In the two postseason wins she has attended, Kelce has donned a red and gold tee-shirt from the New Heights podcast — the show the brothers co-host together — and a red sweatshirt emblazoned with the University of Cincinnati logo.

Kelce knows what she won’t wear at this point, but that doesn’t mean she’s picked out a game day outfit yet.

“I’m not an aesthetic girly. I do not plan my outfits ahead of time,” Kelce said with a laugh. “So I would imagine that I will go back in the direction of either New Heights podcast or Cincinnati.”

Although the mother of three didn’t attend Cincinnati with the Kelce brothers, Kylie doesn’t feel like she’s cheating on her own school — Cabrini University — since she attended a smaller DII school.

We’ll see what she chose when the game rolls around Sunday night.

Jason Kelce playfully trolled his wife Kylie on New Heights about her desire to get a cat

Oh, the Kelces are definitely going to end up getting a cat.

Eagles center Jason Kelce doesn’t want a cat. The problem? His wife, Kylie, does. This back-and-forth has been happening for a few weeks after Kylie joined a family special New Heights episode to close out 2023. On the podcast, which Jason co-hosts with little brother Travis, Kylie talked about her desire to add a feline to the Kelce crew.

The conversations escalated when Kylie used Jason’s own hilarious quote about launching himself out of the suite in Buffalo back at him via a comment on social media. “‘I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this.’ — the exact quote I will say when I’m grabbing the keys to go get a cat,” read her Instagram reply to the New Heights clip.

On this week’s episode, the cat came up once again. “Ky tweeted this or Instagrammed this and immediately, I googled ‘how to lose a cat,'” Jason said.

“Nothing came up. The only thing that came up was like, ‘Oh, are you sad you just lost a cat?'” Kelce continued with a lighthearted tone, “Like, no, I need to lose a cat. I’m not worried about losing it. I want to lose it, and I’m surprised that there was nowhere to research good ways to accidentally lose a cat.”

Silly Jason. You can’t lose a cat, they just do whatever they want. Either way, we’re all excited for the Kelces to get their inevitable cat.

New video showed Taylor Swift having the best time celebrating the Chiefs’ win with Kylie and Jason Kelce

The behind-the-scenes footage we REALLY needed.

Fans waited nearly all season to see Taylor Swift meet Jason and Kylie Kelce, and the past two weeks haven’t disappointed at all.

Jason — Eagles center and the brother of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — stole the show in Buffalo with his shirtless celebration from a luxury suite. And come Sunday’s AFC title game in Baltimore, Jason kept his shirt on but still managed to be the life of the party alongside his wife, Kylie, and the 12-time Grammy winner.

After already sharing some incredible behind-the-scenes footage from the Kelce suite, Taylor’s good friend Keleigh Teller shared additional video from that epic time in Baltimore. We were treated to Jason chugging beers and a celebratory hug between Taylor and Kylie.

They all truly had the best time, and fans loved watching that happiness play out.
