The Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart have offered a scholarship to offensive tackle recruit Knijeah Harris. Harris plays for Florida high school football powerhouse IMG Academy, who has numerous top University of Georgia recruiting targets and several players who will play at the next level.
In fact, Georgia has secured a commitment from 2021 IMG Academy running back Lovasea Carroll.
Knijeah Harris is much younger than Carroll, who is a senior. Harris is currently a sophomore, so he’s a member of the class of 2023. Harris has good size for an offensive tackle at six-foot-four and he weighs 305 pounds.
The sophomore offensive tackle has already received immense recruiting attention. Harris is too young to have a star rating, but he’s gotten scholarship offers from FSU, Miami, Penn State, Indiana, Florida, Texas A&M, and more. He’ll end up as a three or four-star recruit in the upcoming months.
Harris announced his scholarship offer from UGA via his Twitter account. Congratulations to the IMG Academy player.
