Fans turned the Brian Windhorst rant about Luka Doncic into a diss track with Kendrick Lamar beats

Meet the Dončićs.

The Celtics beat the Mavericks again in Game 3 of the 2024 NBA Finals and are now just one win away from winning a championship.

After the game, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst joined SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt to discuss what he saw from both teams. He efficiently tore about nearly everything about the way Luka Doncic has played in this series so far against Boston.

It was a memorable appearance from Windhorst that you can watch in its entirety below, but it is more than worth your time.

RELATED: Brian Windhorst’s brutally honest take on Luka Doncic defense and complaining is spot on

Windhorst delivered quite a few memorable lines, including:

“I’m standing here in the Mavericks tunnel. Over there is the Celtics tunnel. That’s where the winners are. If Luka is going to ever be a winner coming out of this tunnel here, he’s going to have to use what happened in this Finals as a learning experience.”

He also added:

“His defense performance is unacceptable. He is a whole on the court.”

But this one stood out:

“They have begged him. They have talked with him. They have pleaded with him. He is costing his team because of how he treats the officials.”

Perhaps the most brutal was this:

“Maybe over the summer, somebody will get to him and nobody with the Mavericks or anybody else in his life has.”

The whole delivery sounded like a diss track, so fans took the time to edit that with famous beats for Windhorst.

WATCH: Ravens spend 2 minutes debating Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef during OTAs

Baltimore Ravens spend 2 minutes debating Kyle Hamilton’s comments about the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef during OTAs

The Ravens do everything together, so it should come as no surprise that debating rap beef in the group chat would trickle down into the first day of OTAs.

If you’ve been under a rug for the past two or three months, Drake, J Cole, and Kendrick Lamar have engaged in some lyrical sparring, with the Dreamville star bowing out and leaving the OVO king and Compton’s finest to battle it out.

On April 6, All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton weighed in on the beef via Twitter, stating that the beef had made its way into a group chat.

Fast-forward to Monday, May 20. During a break in the action, the Ravens as a team gave their opinion, and the responses were hilarious.

LeBron James partying to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” might be Drake’s biggest L yet

LeBron picked a side, y’all.

Drake has taken a lot of Ls lately because of this beef with Kendrick Lamar, man. He’s getting cooked, man.

Kendrick’s “Not Like Us” has become the biggest song in the world at this point. The Compton rapper has somehow turned the entire world against Drake. It’s gotten so bad that nobody will even buy his Nikes at this point.

The only thing that could make it worse may have just happened, though. LeBron James might have picked a side and it ain’t the homie from Canada’s.

The Lakers’ superstar was seen dancing to K Dot’s latest hit in the background of a video posted by the rapper Daylyt.

He’s just back there grooving. It’s hilarious.

Warning: There is some NSFW language in this video

Bron is back there getting it, man. He and Savannah James look like they’re having a blast at this party.

What an L for Drake. He and James are supposed to be homies. James was one of Drake’s biggest supporters early on in his career. He also was the guy Drake turned to in his beef with Pusha T a few years ago.

I ain’t saying they can’t be friends anymore. All I’m saying is that if I caught my friends in 4k having a great time to a song that cooked me the way this song cooked Drake? We probably wouldn’t be friends anymore. We’d have to at least have a conversation.

I’m sure LeBron will post a video of him erroneously rapping the lyrics to Drake’s “Family Matters” song about Kendrick. Then all will be forgiven, I’m sure.

Regardless, this is hilarious. Glad to see Bron enjoying his offseason already.

Naomi Osaka gave a brilliant answer for who is winning the Kendrick Lamar-Drake rap beef

Naomi Osaka gave a brilliant answer as to who is winning the Kendrick Lamar-Drake rap beef.

The rap battle going on right now between Kendrick Lamar and Drake is one for the ages, and tennis star Naomi Osaka has officially given her verdict on who’s winning.

In a very smart response, Osaka said that she’s a pacificist when it comes to these issues but also gave her opinion on who is winning in her mind.

Spoiler alert: it’s basically who everyone thinks has bested Drake in this beef.

Osaka is one of the best tennis players in the world right now, so she knows what it takes to win a competition. If this is how she feels this rap beef is going, we’re inclined to agree with her.

We’ll see if either artist comes out with any additional music, but Osaka is a clear winner in this situation either way with her very wise answer.

We’ll see if any other sports stars chime in with opinions in the weeks ahead.

Nobody is buying Drake’s new Nike shoe after his beef with Kendrick Lamar

Maybe Drake should just dead the beef now before things get worse

When you’re as big of a star as Drake has been for the last decade-plus, getting into a rap beef comes with a ton of risk.

Many people and brands have invested millions of dollars into Drake’s talent and career. That’s not just the case on the music side — brands like Nike have endorsed the Toronto pop star through the years.

Right now? That endorsement isn’t looking so good.

Kendrick Lamar has seemingly done the impossible and turned the public against Drake, leading to more than 1 million dislikes on his latest response record “The Heart Part 6.”

It’s not just hurting Drake on the music side — he’s taking L’s on the business end, too.

His latest signature shoe with Nike, the NOCTA Hot Step II, was released on the SNKRS app Thursday. And, well, it looks like nobody wants these joints.

Almost every size was still available as of Thursday afternoon.

To be fair to Drake and Nike here, this isn’t like a hyped Jordan release. It wouldn’t sell out immediately. But for every size to be sitting there still? That’s not normal.

The comment section on posts about the shoes hasn’t been kind to Drake either.

Look, these NOCTA shoes aren’t the greatest. Nobody is going head over heels for a pair of white-on-white shoes. That’s not the vibe. But I do think it’s safe to say this beef isn’t just impacting Drake’s music at this point.

He might be better off just leaving things here before they get even worse.

Did Michigan football just pick a side with the Kendrick Lamar, Drake beef?

#Michigan FTW! #GoBlue

Over the past month, pop culture has been captivated by the beef between hip-hop artists Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

It started with a collaboration between J. Cole and Drake but Lamar blasted the duo on a track with Future and Metro Boomin shortly after. J. Cole apologized at a concert, but Drake went ahead and released a track ‘dissing’ Lamar called ‘Push Ups.’ He then released ‘Taylor Made Freestyle’ which had AI versions of Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg, but the Shakur estate made him take it down. Drake continued to goad Lamar into a response, which didn’t come until last Tuesday, when he released ‘Euphoria.’ On Friday morning, Lamar doubled up by releasing ‘6:16 from LA,’ but Drake released his rebuttal, ‘Family Matters,’ later that evening. Lamar wasted no time, releasing ‘Meet the Grahams’ just minutes later, usurping any hype that Drake intended to get with what was expected to be his kill shot.

Then, Lamar doubled up again, dropping ‘Not Like Us’ on Saturday evening. A West Coast-style club banger, Lamar’s ‘diss’ on Drake went straight to No. 1 on the charts.

And now Michigan football is tapping in.

On Wednesday evening, the official Michigan football X (formerly Twitter) account took advantage of the audio from ‘Not Like Us,’ which repeats the chorus, ‘They not like us,’ along with visuals of the Wolverines winning the 2023 national championship.

Drake had released another track after all of this, with Sunday night’s ‘The Heart part 6’ but it has failed to reach the same critical acclaim as Lamar’s sudden hit.

Michigan isn’t the first team to use ‘Not Like Us.’ Unsurprisingly, USC — the Big Ten school closest to Lamar’s native Compton, California — co-opted the track showing clips from practice mixed with the song.

If nothing else, the social media managers for Michigan football are paying attention to the pop culture moment and utilizing the moment for tremendous content.

Kendrick Lamar’s Not Like Us is now a Dodgers walk-up song, which means he beat Drake

We think Kendrick Lamar won this one.

If we’re looking for a winner in the ongoing beef between Kedrick Lamar and Drake, I think sports has declared it.

We heard TNT playing Lamar’s Euphoria during Inside the NBA earlier in the postseason, and now we’ve got Not Like Us everywhere. TNT played it during Game 2 of the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves series, and then it sounded like the Los Angeles Dodgers played it both before Monday’s game against the Miami Marlins and for Gavin Lux as a walk-up song.

Inside the NBA played Kendrick Lamar’s Euphoria and Charles Barkley and Co. had funny reactions

They’re in the middle of a rap beef now.

The Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef has spilled over into the sports world … sort of.

After Lamar dropped Euphoria, the diss track that had the world buzzing about how badly he ripped on Drake, the folks at Inside the NBA decided to play it on Wednesday night as halftime started between the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks in their playoff game.

The reaction?

“Y’all putting us in the middle of the rap beef!” remarked Kenny Smith.

Charles Barkley simply added, “Grown-[butt] men.” LOL!

NBA fans noticed and had a bit of a laugh over it on X (formerly Twitter):
