Former Georgia commit, 4-star CB makes commitment

Kayin Lee decommitted from the Bulldogs after former UGA defensive backs coach Jahmile Addae left for the same position at Miami

Talented four-star cornerback recruit Kayin Lee has committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Lee was previously committed to Georgia, but backed off his commitment in Feb. 2022.

Kayin Lee, who is a member of the class of 2023, decommitted from the Bulldogs after former Georgia defensive backs coach Jahmile Addae left for the same position at Miami. Fran Brown is the new Georgia defensive back coach and has earned some big wins on the recruiting trail, but was unable to keep Kayin Lee.

Lee is a rising senior on a top notch football team at Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia. Cedar Grove won the 3A state championship in 2021. Cedar Grove has two players, Christen Miller and Carlton Madden, who signed as part of the Bulldogs’ class of 2022.

Lee is ranked as the No. 13 recruit in Georgia and the No. 18 corner in the country. The Ohio State commit is the country’s No. 145 overall recruit in the class of 2023.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound cornerback has scholarship offers from some of the best schools in the country like Auburn, USC, Florida, Oregon, Ohio State, Arkansas and more.

The Georgia Bulldogs have lost a commitment from four-star cornerback recruit Kayin Lee, who is a member of the class of 2023. Lee’s decommitment is not shocking considering Georgia’s change at defensive back coach.

Jahmile Addae is headed to Miami and Fran Brown is the new Georgia defensive back coach. Kayin Lee is a junior on a loaded football team at Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia.

Cedar Grove won the 3A state championship in 2021. Cedar Grove has two players, Christen Miller and Carlton Madden, that have signed with the Bulldogs’ class of 2022.

Kayin Lee is ranked as the No. 15 recruit in Georgia and the No. 17 corner in the country. He’s the No. 144 overall recruit.

The 5-foot-11, 160-pound cornerback’s decommitment brings the Georgia class of 2023 down to eight commitments. Georgia has commitments from six four-star recruits and the No. 2 recruiting class in the country.

Lee has several major college football scholarship offers from schools like Auburn, USC, Florida, Oregon, Ohio State, Arkansas, and more. Miami could be a new contender for Lee.

The Georgia Bulldogs added a commitment from four-star Cedar Grove cornerback recruit Kayin Lee.

Kirby Smart and Georgia are looking to add a commitment from another Cedar Grove star in four-star defensive lineman Christen Miller.

Kayin Lee is ranked as the No. 14 recruit in Georgia and the No. 14 corner in the country. He’s the No. 121 overall recruit.

The 5-foot-11, 160-pound cornerback is UGA’s sixth commitment in the class of 2023. Georgia has commitments from six four-star recruits to compose second-ranked the class of 2023 in the country.
