Jaylen Brown: I’m looking forward to working with Kanye West

On what Kanye West means to him as an artist and fashion icon… Jaylen Brown: A pioneer. A legend. Somebody who has broke barriers, you know? He started off as a producer and transcended the game in that way and arguably had a better rap career and now is doing business in fashion with his clothing line; somebody that’s ALWAYS been about breaking walls and breaking down barriers and for me I’m looking to do the same stuff so, he’s definitely a pioneer and definitely somebody you want to admire and follow the game. So, I’m looking forward to working with him.

Kyrie’s Irving stepmother Shetellia Riley remains his agent, but he and Kanye West support each other

Nets star Kyrie Irving rumored to join Kanye West’s Donda Sports

Brooklyn Nets superstar Kyrie Irving is reportedly signing with Kanye West’s Donda Sports, according to an Alabama reporter.

There are some light murmurs that superstar Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets will be the next athlete to join Donda Sports.

Softball beat writer Brett Greenberg of Tuscaloosa News reported on Twitter that Irving would be signing with Donda Sports.

Irving’s stepmother Shetellia Riley currently handles the ball handler’s career as his agent.

Greenberg notes that Donda Sports offers marketing services that the likes of Aaron Donald and Jaylen Brown have signed on for, meaning Irving’s step-mother could continue to represent him.

Reddit chatter began after a user posted the Irving-Donda Sports deal days ago. The user has reportedly leaked Kanye West news in the past including the song True Love and the planned and canceled Donda 2 LP2 project in Houston.

Considering the fact that Irving is up for an extension and is expected to remain in Brooklyn, this is a big move. It will be interesting to see how he and the Nets will handle this now going forward into negotiations.

Celtics’ Jaylen Brown reportedly signs with Donda, Kanye West’s agency, as first athlete to do so

West reportedly is as interested in what Brown wants to do off the court as on it.

It seems that Boston Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown has new representation. And he is the first such NBA player or player of any sport to be represented by his new agency, Donda, according to TMZ Sports. According to TMZ, the partnership has been in the works since March.

It was ironically sparked at the last meeting of the Celtics and the team they now face in the 2022 NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors when Donda chief and renowned hip hop artist Kanye West linked up with the Celtics star at the game, the two photographed courtside in a popular image making the rounds at the time.

TMZ relates that the agency wanted to work with the Cal-Berkeley product “his intelligence, social activism, and charitable work” as well as his on-court skill. West reportedly believes “Brown is underappreciated … and wants to bring him to “superhero” status during his career and long after his playing days.”

The Georgia native famously chose to go into the league without representation, using his personal network of NBA elder statesmen and trusted confidants to navigate the business side of his career in the league.

He later hired agent Jason Glushon to handle his contract extension before moving on to this stage of his career.

Klay Thompson called back to an old Kanye West lyric on Instagram after another incredible Game 6 performance

Game 6 Klay is inevitable, y’all.

Game 6 Klay Thompson is just incredible, man. He knows when the moment is his. It’s been this way for as long as we can remember.

It all starts with 2016 against the Thunder. Then you can go to 2019 against the Rockets. And even 2019 in the NBA Finals against the Raptors before he tore his ACL. Game 6 Klay Thompson is just a beast.

He gave us another great one on Friday when the Warriors eliminated the Grizzlies. Thompson put up 30 points and hit 8 3-pointers to put the Grizz away for good. That’s a bad man.

The best part is he actually knows this, too. He’s well aware of his Game 6 lore. So much so that he evoked an old Kanye West lyric on Instagram and included himself in picture with some legends to do it.

Remember that old lyric from [expletive] in Paris from Watch The Throne with Kanye West and Jay-Z? West goes:

“Psycho, I’m liable to go Michael, take your pick
Jackson, Tyson, Jordan, Game 6”

Classic bars from Kanye back when he was still good at rapping. That’s another story for another day, though.

Anyway, here were the pictures on Klay Thompson’s Instagram story after Game 6.

HE is Game 6 now. Klay Thompson himself. And, honestly given the history there, I don’t really feel like any of us are in the position to argue with him on it.

You never want to run into Game 6 Klay. Ever. The Grizzlies learned that the hard way.

SPECIAL DELIVERY: The Yeezy 450 is so ugly, it’s become the perfect shoe

How do y’all like this shoe so much????

The Yeezy 450 might be the ugliest silhouette Kanye West and his brand have ever given us.

When these shoes dropped we roasted them into oblivion. They look like dumplings and old Pokémon fossils. Typically not what you see the most hyped shoes out there looking like.

Does it matter, though? Absolutely not. Because, for whatever reason, people still love these things. They cannot get enough of them. They’re one of the most popular Yeezy models out there.

And that’s exactly why I feel like this shoe will be something special for the Yeezy Brand. Well, I should say, it could be.

Because they still need to fix one big problem with it. Find out what that is on this episode of Special Delivery.
