Jennifer Lopez’s daughter, Emme, is just 11 years old.
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira put on a fun performance during the Super Bowl halftime show that featured plenty of songs, a lot of dancing, and cameos from two rappers I couldn’t recognize.
Anyway, one cool thing that did happen was that Jennifer Lopez’s daughter, Emme, got to perform during the halftime show.
Emme is an aspiring singer and performer who wants to follow in her mom’s footsteps. She’s also just 11 years old. And singing in front of millions upon millions of people, and doing it well. I’m not sure I had mastered tying my shoes at 11.
Anyway, it was a very cool moment, and good for young Emme.

Lopez made a spectacular entrance and was wearing a leather outfit and went through numerous changes, at one point draped in the flag of Puerto Rico and singing a bit of “Born in the U.S.A.” made famous by Bruce Springsteen.

Shakira is a Colombian pop singer who released her debut album in 1991, at 13 years old. Four of her songs have reached the Billboard Top 10, with ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ her sole No. 1 hit.
“The message [of my performance] is gonna be ‘Listen, I’m a woman. I’m a Latina. It wasn’t easy for me to get to where I am. And being at the Super Bowl is proof that everything is possible,” the 42-year-old told 60 Minutes. “That the dreams of a little girl from Barranquilla, Colombia, they were made of something of what dreams are made of and I’m gonna be there, giving it all.’ ”
Best SB halftime show ever…by far…and I'm a Prince fanatic…but this is unequalled. Lordy…

It has to happen, right?
Here’s my surefire, No. 1 can’t-miss prediction about Super Bowl 54: Alex Rodriguez is going to go viral at another Super Bowl.
My bet: he’ll be on camera, somewhere in the crowd at Hard Rock Stadium, with his phone out, filming his fiancee while she performs at the halftime show, the same way he took in her performance at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards when she won that year’s Video Vanguard.
And it won’t be the first time he went viral at a Super Bowl. Let’s go all the way back to 2011, when Rodriguez was dating actress Cameron Diaz and this happened at Super Bowl XLV:
I think this Sunday’s moment will look like this:
A Rod supporting JLO is the type of energy we all need #VMAs pic.twitter.com/uo9rfOYkMD
— luigi x barack! at the disco (@daniela_llebron) August 21, 2018
He does this a lot, which is sweet:
And it’ll be another awesome moment in a string of similarly awesome moments for the pair named the best sports couple by us in 2018.
I’ve been really training hard this week for the halftime performance 💪🏼😅
Who is your MVP pick for this Sunday? ⭐️🏈 pic.twitter.com/vEa1w3YEi6

Jennifer Lopez and Shakira join the list of entertainers to play halftime at Super Bowls in Miami.
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will be the halftime show at Super Bowl LIV when the Kansas City Chiefs meet the San Francisco 49ers Feb. 2. The bar is incredibly high for the intermission act in South Beach because the halftime show for XLI was the best of all. Prince put on a spectacular show that tops every other act who has had the honor of showing their talents for about 12 minutes.
