The couple who we’ve watched be adorable over the years announced earlier this year that Sims was expecting, and on Thursday she revealed on Instagram Stories that it’s a boy that arrived six weeks ahead of her due date.

Sims then detailed what happened after, including how supportive Koepka was while she had to undergo a C-section. The baby is in the NICU, but by her accounts, is doing well (and we hope that continues to be the case!).

Jena Sims had the perfect TikTok response to why she wasn’t with Brooks Koepka at his PGA Championship win

The perfect response.

It was the question golf fans were asking after Brooks Koepka won the 2023 PGA Championship, his fifth major in what’s turning out to be a pretty incredible career: Why wasn’t Jena Sims, his pregnant wife, there at Oak Hill to celebrate with him?

After celebrating with an awesome TikTok saying how proud she was, Sims had answers for anyone with that question. She used the social media platform to show a video of her getting up on a ladder in her home with Koepka and dusting off part of the large trophy case, getting it ready for the Wanamaker Trophy.

Jena Sims proudly posts a tearful TikTok celebrating Brooks Koepka’s PGA Championship win

She celebrated Koepka’s victory with a tearful TikTok.

Even though Jena Sims couldn’t be there in person with Brooks Koepka for his fifth major win at the 2023 PGA Championship, she still had plenty to celebrate on Sunday while watching him claim victory at Oak Hill.

After the victory, Sims posted a TikTok of her talking about how she was crying and how stoked “someone” was going to be of the win.

That would be a reference to her pregnancy — she and Koepka are expecting a son! Sims also posted a few snaps on Instagram Stories after the victory, including a screenshot of a post-win FaceTime, which is just adorable:

Why Jena Sims isn’t with Brooks Koepka at the 2023 PGA Championship

Here’s why.

Brooks Koepka is back on top of the golf world once again.

The four-time golf major winner and LIV Golf member won his fifth at the 2023 PGA Championship, finishing ahead of Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland at Oak Hill.

If you’re here, you may be wondering: Why isn’t he celebrating the win with his wife, Jena Sims, who is pregnant with their first child?

As far as I can tell, the answer is because the model and actress is in Miami for the SI Swimsuit events promoting this year’s edition. She shared some photos and videos from there on Instagram, including one Story on Sunday in which she nervously watched Koepka with their dog.

There’s your answer! And UPDATE: She posted congrats on TikTok.

From the looks of Instagram, it appears Jena Sims and Brooks Koepka are getting married.

That means it’s time to celebrate! Congrats to the couple!

The superstar golfer and the actress and nonprofit founder have been together since 2017, and that’s included some celebrations snapped after Koepka wins — of course that included the Sims mixup by Joe Buck after the 2017 U.S. Open that she had a laugh over — before they got engaged over a year ago.

So as the nuptials get closer, let’s look back at some of their sweet moments that we’ve seen, including them celebrating major victories together:

It’s a VERY happy birthday for LIV golfer Brooks Koepka, who turned 33 years old on Wednesday.

Because it was on that same day that he and wife Jena Sims announced that they’re expecting a baby. Snaps from their Instagram accounts show them on a beach, with ultrasound photos and their dog, Cove, celebrating with some very happy future parents.

The final photo? A cake with “HBD daddy” written on it. Awww! A perfect present for a birthday, I’d say.

The announcement comes nearly a year after the pair tied the knot. The two met at the 2015 Masters and began dating in 2017.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Jena Sims Koepka emerged from the clubhouse for the final round of the 87th Masters wearing a cozy green dress and light-colored shoes she was keen to keep out of the mud. After a brutally wet, cold and windy Saturday, patrons were spoiled by sunshine for what was sure to be a final-round duel between major champions Jon Rahm and Brooks Koepka.

The couple met for the first time at the 2015 Masters and were married last summer in Turks and Caicos with an afterparty performance from rapper Ludacris.

The festivities are over, and golfer Brooks Koepka and actress Jena Sims are now husband and wife.

Sims posted a bunch of photos and videos in her Instagram Story in the days after the wedding last weekend — which in included a performance by the legendary Ludacris at the reception! — showing how fun it looked, but thanks to a regular IG post on both her and Koepka’s accounts, we can see what they looked like and how happy they were.

It was simply captioned, “Best. Day. Of. My. Life” and they look great. There’s also another photo from the night before:

“Turks & Koepkas” was the name of the week long wedding celebration held in Turks and Caicos for Brooks Koepka and Jena Sims this past week. Jena did a great job of reposting and documenting all the festivities and it looked like everyone who attended had a blast.

From custom Nikes, slippers and hats to extravagant dresses, a performance by Ludacris and stellar photos, the Koepka’s know how to throw a party. The newly weds looked stunning and partied all night long while entertaining their guests with great food, music and drinks.
