Four-star running back predicted to land at Nebraska

Recruiting for the class of 2025 is heating up!

The Nebraska Cornhuskers currently hold three commitments in their 2025 recruiting class, and while that will change in the upcoming weeks and months, the Huskers have been predicted to land one of the country’s top running backs.

On Wednesday, Steve Wiltfong, the vice president of recruiting and the transfer portal for On3 predicted four-star running back Jamarion Parker to land with the Huskers.

247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals rate Parker as a four-star prospect. Rivals ranks the Missouri native as the No. 5 running back in the country, the highest ranking of any recruiting service.

Parker was previously committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks. He originally committed to Arkansas on September 1 of last year before decommitting a little less than two weeks ago on March 25.

Other programs that have offered Parker include Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M, and West Virginia.

Top running back recruit to visit Nebraska

A top running back recruit is preparing for an official visit to Nebraska.

A recently decommitted running back has scheduled an official visit with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Four-star running back Jamarion Parker will visit the Huskers from June 21 to 23.

The prospect withdrew his verbal commitment to Arkansas on Monday afternoon. Parker is one of the top recruits in the state of Missouri for the class of 2025.

Our friends at Razorbacks Wire wrote the following.

Parker had committed back in September, but Arkansas running back coach Jimmy Smith left his post late in the winter to join the staff at Texas Christian. TCU’s offensive coordinator is Kendal Briles. Briles was Arkansas’ offensive coordinator two seasons ago and worked closely with smith.

Last season, Parker played in 11 games, running for 1,207 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Rutgers football is getting involved with a very interesting prospect in freshman prospect Jamarion Parker. Not only is it unusual for the Scarlet Knights to offer a freshman, but they are also doing so in a non-traditional area for recruiting.

Parker is from St. Louis, MO, a region that Rutgers doesn’t traditionally recruit. The class of 2025 running back is already a big contributor at Cardinal Ritter.

Playing a tough schedule last year that included several out-of-state opponents, the Lions went 7-7.

He holds a total of 16 offers already, including Power Five offers from Boston College, Louisville, Michigan, Missouri, Oregon State, Purdue, Texas A&M and West Virginia.

Last week, Parker pulled in offers from Arkansas State, Colorado and Oregon.
