Six Alabama players selected in latest PFN four-round NFL mock draft

See where these six former Crimson Tide stars are projected to land

As we creep towards the end of the month of February, we close in on the NFL combine and the NFL draft. Until those events are here we are stuck with an influx of NFL mock drafts.

Like most draft seasons, the mock drafts are littered with former Alabama stars hoping to make a name for themselves at the next level. While there isn’t as much pure star power in the class from Alabama, there is a chance the No. 1 overall selection could be a former member for the Crimson Tide.

Let’s take a look at Pro Football Network’s latest four-round mock draft and where former members of the Tide are slated to land.

7 Alabama players selected in latest 4-round 2022 NFL mock draft

Though the NFL playoffs are still ongoing, fans of many teams have turned their focus to the upcoming 2022 draft. Wether it be filling a team-need or selecting the best player available, the top collegiate talent will land with teams from all across the league.

Alabama players are a staple in the annual draft, especially in the early rounds.

Pro Football Network recently released their latest four-round 2022 NFL mock draft, which features seven total former Crimson Tide stars from both sides of the ball.

Some join struggling teams on the first night of the draft, while others may be joining an established contender.

Here’s where they are projected to land.

Jalyn Armour-Davis announces his NFL Draft intentions

The 6-1, 192 DB has made a decision on his future!

Redshirt-freshman defensive back Jalyn Armour-Davis has officially announced his intention to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.

Armour-Davis spent three seasons on the Crimson Tide roster as a cornerback. This season was his best, statistically, with four passes defended, three interceptions and 35 total tackles.

At 6-1 and 192 pounds, Armour-Davis sports an NFL-ready frame at the cornerback position. The defender has the size to play on the outside at the next level. Furthermore, he has impressive relative length, which can be more important than height.

As a former 100m state champion, Armour-Davis can run with the fastest of WRs.

While plagued with injuries for two seasons during his career, I wouldn’t expect injuries to be a lingering issue for Armour-Davis as he makes his jump to the next level.

He announced his decision via his official Twitter account.
