Four-star Salisbury High School linebacker Jalon Walker puts the University of Georgia and more among his latest edition of top schools
The Georgia Bulldogs offered a football scholarship to linebacker Jalon Walker back in August. On Nov. 6, Walker has put the University of Georgia among his latest edition of top schools.
Walker is a four-star outside linebacker recruit, who plays football for Salisbury High School. Salisbury is a smaller town north of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Walker is currently a junior in high school and is a member of the class of 2022. He measures at six-foot-two and weighs 220 pounds, which is good size for a linebacker. He’s got ample time to decide where he wants to play college football.
Kirby Smart and Georgia are one of the top destinations for elite linebacker recruits in college football. The University of Georgia is loaded at the position currently, but the Dawgs are likely losing several linebackers to the NFL following this season.
College football players, who have played in over four games, are allowed to return next season due to COVID-19, even if they are seniors. This will be something to watch in programs across the country following this season.
Walker has already received scholarship offers from FSU, LSU, Tennessee, Oregon, Clemson, Texas and more. The attention of these major programs further justifies Walker’s elite four-star rating.
Jalon Walker puts UNC, Auburn, Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State in his list of top schools. He’s got lots of elite programs to choose from. He removed LSU, Arizona State, Texas, and more from his top ten. The four-star linebacker announced his top schools via his Twitter account:
Go Dawgs! Best of luck to Walker throughout his recruitment process and with his college football career. He should be a priority target for the Bulldogs in the class of 2022.
