Michigan State football has extended an offer to an edge rusher who just won the Big Ten title a few weeks ago

Michigan State football has extended an offer to an edge rusher who just won the Big Ten title a few weeks ago.

Oregon transfer Jaeden Moore announced on Wednesday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. Moore entered the transfer portal earlier this week.

Moore played two seasons for the Ducks, with an enhanced role this past season on the Oregon defense. According to 247Sports, he was mainly used as a standup pass rusher off the edge.

In 13 games this season, Moore recorded six total tackles, one tackle for loss, and 0.5 sacks. Additionally, Moore finished with 16 total quarterback pressures.

Oregon Ducks EDGE Jaeden Moore to enter transfer portal

Oregon Ducks EDGE Jaeden Moore announced that he intends to enter the transfer portal and leave Eugene in the 2025 offseason.

Oregon Ducks edge rusher Jaeden Moore announced on Monday that he would officially be entering the transfer portal during the 2025 offseason and ending his time in Eugene.

Winston is a redshirt freshman who has been with the Ducks for the past two years, playing in 13 games and racking up 6 tackles, 1 TFL, 2 QB hurries, 2 pass breakups.

As a former 3-star prospect who was rated by 247Sports as the No. 724 player in the 2023 class, Moore brings a solid upside to teams who are looking for a strong pass rusher.

As for the Ducks, Moore is the second EDGE to announce that they are transferring away from Oregon this offseason, joining redshirt sophomore Emar’rion Winston. Despite that, his departure isn’t a major surprise. With the young talent on the roster at that position, it makes sense that he would want to go to another team to find a clearer path to playing time, rather than competing with the likes of Matayo Uiagalelei, Teitum Tuioti, Blake Purchase, and Elijah Rushing for snaps.

SIGNED: 3-star defensive end Jaeden Moore is officially a Duck

Oregon was able to sign 3-star defensive end Jaeden Moore out of Visalia, Calif.

Oregon head coach Dan Lanning and his staff is clearly making the defensive line a focus in their first complete recruiting class and they just added a good one out of Visalia, Calif.

At 6-foot-4 and 230 pounds, Jaeden Moore should be one of those quick edge rushers that will eventually be difficult to account for. He had a monster junior season where he was credited with 17.5 sacks. Moore added nine more this year.

He was recruited by Washington, California, and Boise State before signing with the Ducks. Most recruiting services have Moore as a mid-level recruit, but under the Ducks’ scientific approach to sculpting the body, Moore could be one of those diamonds in the rough.

3-star Oregon EDGE target Jaeden Moore announces commitment

Jaeden Moore, a 3-star EDGE out of Visalia, California announced his commitment on Wednesday.

The Oregon Ducks’ defensive line just got better in the 2023 recruiting class.

On Wednesday afternoon, 3-star EDGE Jaeden Moore announced that he would be committing to the Ducks, giving them another member on the defensive line. So far, Oregon already has commitments from Terrance Green, My’keil Gardener, Tevita Pome’e, and Teitum Tuioti.

Moore is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 39 EDGE and No. 620 player overall in the 2023 class. He chose the Ducks over the Arizona Wildcats, California Golden Bears, and Washington Huskies.

Standing at 6-foot-4, 230 pounds, Moore projects as a good-sized DE who will grow into Oregon’s system and offer a strong setting of the edge around the outside.

California 2023 defensive end gets a Notre Dame offer

Interesting development here

The Irish aren’t taking any chances with their defensive end group in the 2023 recruiting class. Currently there are four commits ([autotag]Keon Keeley[/autotag], [autotag]Brenan Vernon[/autotag], [autotag]Boubacar Traore[/autotag] and [autotag]Devan Houstan[/autotag]). Each is an impressive prospect.

It seems as if most of the commits are very solid in their pledges — except Keeley. The highest rated commit recently officially visited Alabama and there is smoke he could be on his way to Columbus for an official when the Buckeyes face the Irish.

[autotag]Marcus Freeman[/autotag]wants four ends in this class, even if there is a decommit, so an offer went out today to [autotag]Jaeden Moore[/autotag], a Californian who is 6 feet, 4 inches and 235 pounds.

What’s interesting about this offer is Moore is set to announce his commitment on Aug. 17 and the Irish aren’t in his final four. This obviously could change the situation for Moore, who was selecting from among California, Washington, Oregon and Arizona.

We will find out in a few days if the Irish offer sways Moore to continue with his commitment, delay it or possibly commit to the Irish. It is definitely a recruitment to watch right now for Notre Dame.
