Taylor Swift heartily celebrated a Chiefs Super Bowl TD with Blake Lively and Ice Spice

Swift was every Chiefs fan at that moment.

For nearly three full quarters of Super Bowl 58, the Kansas City Chiefs looked lost on offense. They had mustered just two field goals and trailed the San Francisco 49ers, 10-6, late in the third quarter. After yet another punt from the reigning Super Bowl champs, the Chiefs got the break they needed in the form of a punt that went off the leg of a Niners player and was recovered by Kansas City.

One play later, Patrick Mahomes found Marquez Valdes-Scantling wide-open in the end zone for a 16-yard touchdown and Kansas City’s first lead of the game.

Taylor Swift, who has been dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, absolutely loved it, celebrating with friends Blake Lively, Ashley Avignone and Ice Spice in the suite.

Jason Kelce is enjoying the 2024 NFL offseason and had a blast in Las Vegas during the Chiefs-49ers Super Bowl; the All-Pro center looks closer and closer to retirement.

Front Office Sports reported that Kelce has met with ESPN and FOX Sports as he gauges a potential post-retirement career in television.

The New York Post reports that Amazon, NBC, and CBS also might express interest in Kelce.

Kelce was in Las Vegas for Super Bowl LVIII, and nothing says he’s arrived as a media star better than this moment with Taylor Swift and Ice Spice, which has gone viral.

Fans absolutely loved the footage of Taylor Swift introducing Jason Kelce to Ice Spice before Super Bowl 58

The intro we never knew we needed.

The past few months had to be a whirlwind for the entire Kelce family. Jason emerged as a superstar outside of football due to his Amazon documentary, podcast and all-around likable personality. All this happened while his brother, Travis, dated arguably the most famous woman on the planet in Taylor Swift.

Ahead of Super Bowl 58, those worlds collided in just a delightful greeting from Kelce’s suite at Allegiant Stadium.

Fresh off a long journey from Tokyo, Swift arrived to the game with Blake Lively and rapper Ice Spice. CBS cameras showed Swift greeting Jason in the suite with a hug and then introducing the Eagles center to Ice Spice.

It was particularly great how we can see Jason preparing to repeat the name “Ice Spice” back. Almost like, “Ice Spice. Pleasure to meet you. I’m Jason.”

Talk about a Super Bowl party that Jason never would have been able to predict a year ago, but fans were totally there for it.

Taylor Swift made her entrance to Allegiant Stadium for Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday afternoon as she prepared to watch Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs play the San Francisco 49ers for a chance to defend their championship.

Swift, who has been involved with Kelce in a high-profile celebrity relationship, performed to a crowd in Tokyo, Japan yesterday, and made the trip back from Asia to watch her boyfriend perform on the NFL’s biggest stage.

She was flanked by musician Ice Spice and actress Blake Lively as she made her way through the stadium, a sign that her high-profile guests are likely to appear in group shots on the television broadcast.

While it is unclear exactly where Swift and her companions will be seated for the star-studded Super Bowl, their presence is sure to captivate the national audience that will tune in to see which team takes home the Lombardi Trophy.

Meet Ice Spice’s brother and rising football star, Joey Gaston

.@DonJamesSports sits down with a talented QB prospect who is chasing his dreams and is inspired by his very successful sister.

Joey Gaston is one of the premier quarterbacks in the state of New York in the 2025 class. He is also the younger brother of the hottest rap star of 2023, Ice Spice, who is the musical guest on the new season of Saturday Night Live. Ice Spice also has her own specialty drink at Dunkin Donuts.

Gaston is making a name for himself as a rising quarterback and athlete in the 2025 class. He could be someone the Trojans could land in the near future.

Celebrities going to play sports at USC isn’t new. Master P’s son, Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo, played there in the mid 2000s. Lebron James’ son Bronny James is a freshman at USC.

Sasha Obama, former President Barack Obama’s daughter, and Princess Salma bint Abdullah of Jordan graduated earlier this year from USC.

We sat down with Gaston for part one of a series looking at his view of life and his journey as a top athlete in the high school football world.

Trojans Wire: What’s your favorite thing about playing the quarterback position ?

Gaston: My favorite thing about playing QB is having the ability to drop back and pick apart the defense with my arm and legs every play.

Trojans Wire: What’s the main difference between playing at Iona prep versus St. Joseph Regional in Montvale, New Jersey?

Gaston: The main difference is I get to represent New York. New Jersey welcomed me with open arms but I’m happy to be back home representing my home state.

Trojans Wire: So, how is it being the younger brother of hip hop superstar Ice Spice?

Gaston: It’s so great to watch my sister achieve her dreams and it pushes me to achieve mine, but being her little brother is something I’ve been my whole life. Things haven’t changed before and after she became famous. I just continue to support her and she continues to support me.

Prominent Pac-12 sports journalist thinks USC is likely to fire Alex Grinch before season’s end.

USC and Lincoln Riley need to have a plan in place if Alex Grinch coaches poorly and loses to Notre Dame.

Notre Dame’s offensive coordinator might actually be worse than Alex Grinch, a fascinating plot point heading into the October 14 renewal of Irish-Trojans.

Brent Venables is coaching Oklahoma far better this year than Lincoln Riley is coaching USC. It’s up to Riley to change that reality against Notre Dame and Utah.

I finally made it to the Broccoli City Festival and these are my biggest takeaways

Broccoli City started with a mess and ended with a bang.

The Broccoli City Festival has been a bucket list item for me ever since it debuted right in my backyard of Washington, D.C., in 2013.

Back then, I was too broke and too laser-focused on getting a journalism job to worry about attending. By 2016, that ambition had me living in Connecticut and too disconnected to keep up with festivals. I was ready to dive back into the scene after attending Dreamville in 2019 and moving back to D.C. in 2020, but the coronavirus pandemic forced the cancellation of two straight Broccoli City festivals.

That brings us to this past weekend. I finally made it to Broccoli City.

This year, like past years, I had prior engagements for the weekend, but I wasn’t about to miss another opportunity to see what the decade-long buildup of rave has been about. So I made time for a drive to the RFK Stadium Festival grounds for the first day of the weekend-long event and these are my takeaways, good and bad.
