Kadarius Toney made hilarious mistake in Browns’ Week 14 loss to Steelers

Former Kansas City #Chiefs WR Kadarius Toney made a hilarious mistake in the Cleveland Browns’ Week 14 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Kansas City Chiefs parted ways with polarizing wide receiver Karadius Toney in August, and it took a while for the former Florida Gator to catch on with a new team in the regular season.

Toney struggled with drops during his time in Kansas City, and was a generally inconsistent—albeit undeniably talented—presence in the Chiefs receiving corps during the team’s back-to-back Super Bowl runs in 2022 and 2023.

He signed with the Cleveland Browns’ practice squad on September 9, and saw his first action of the season in Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Unfortunately, his Browns debut took a turn for the worse when Toney muffed a punt in hilarious fashion:

Fans in Kansas City are sure to be glad that Toney isn’t making mistakes like this as a member of the Chiefs’ roster, and with any luck, the defending Super Bowl champions may benefit from Toney’s butterfingers when they face Cleveland on December 15.

Chiefs DT Chris Jones responds to Travis Kelce’s hilarious viral stunt: ‘Caught me slipping’

Kansas City #Chiefs DT Chris Jones responds to Travis Kelce’s hilarious viral stunt: ‘Caught me slipping’ | @EdEastonJr

Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro Chris Jones has never avoided the tough questions throughout his career without patience and a level head. However, he felt more than eager to respond emotionally to reporters on Thursday regarding the viral stunt he fell victim to from teammate Travis Kelce.

“Hey, listen, imma say this right now. I have dunked on Travis (Kelce) so many times. All of a sudden, y’all come to town. Travis caught me slipping. “Okay, we’ve got to be selective with what we’re posting collectively for the Chiefs,” Jones said, holding back laughter from the crowd of reporters. “Okay, we can’t post that. Why? Who posted it? Why? Why? What was you trying to prove that? Okay, you can’t post it. You didn’t even give me consent.”

The video showing Kelce simulating a dunk over Jones is another example of the solid camaraderie they have maintained in the locker room throughout their years as teammates.

“I’ve caught Travis slipping so many times, and I was at La La Land, and I was looking for him. I’m like, Where the hell is he at?” said Jones. “Because he always tried to sneak up and duck on me. I didn’t get him a couple of times, and I couldn’t find him yesterday. I’m looking around; about the time I turned around, all I see is 87 (Travis Kelce) jumping on my head; last two days, No ‘Diddy.'”

Jones will seek revenge, and a camera crew is ready to capture it all and tie things up with Kelce on pranks.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce pulls hilarious stunt with Chris Jones at practice

#Chiefs TE Travis Kelce pulled a hilarious prank on Chris Jones during Kansas City’s practice session on Wednesday.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is a known prankster, and managed to make waves at practice on Wednesday by joking around with veteran defensive lineman Chris Jones.

While the team was preparing for their highly anticipated Week 11 matchup against the Buffalo Bills, Kelce ran up to Jones and did an NBA-style slam dunk move that knocked the long-tenured sack master to the ground.

Before he helped Jones back to his feet, Kelce did a signature victory dance for everyone who was watching the horseplay in Kansas City’s indoor practice facility.

FOX 4 KC sports anchor Harold R. Kuntz posted a video of Kelce’s stunt to Twitter.

Take a look:

Kelce’s rough show of brotherly love with Jones appeared to go over well with their teammates, who seemed to get a kick from the All-Pro tight end’s antics.

Expect to see Kelce and Jones channel their rambunctious energy to help the Chiefs defeat Buffalo on Sunday.

NBA fans rightfully roasted Paul George for saying he ‘hung banners’ during his time with the Pacers

What banners did you hang, Paul George? Central division banners?

Now, listen. I’m not one to fall victim to the whole RINGZ OVER EVERYTHING culture that has taken over NBA coverage for years.

That’s a zero-sum game for all of us. Only one team can win a championship every year, but that doesn’t mean that other players and other teams aren’t worth appreciating.

Paul George is absolutely one of those players — even if we don’t really trust the Clippers that much. He’s always been one of the best two-way forces in the NBA.

But it’s hard not to admit that the guy is probably a bit off when it comes to looking back on his tenure with the Pacers.

George talked about how he “hung banners” in Indiana on his new Podcast P show. And the rest of us are just trying to figure out which banners he’s talking about.

“I genuinely feel as much as they aren’t happy with how things went about, they boo me because, at the end of the day, it’s love. And I’ve still got love there. I hung banners there. I’ll always be grateful for the time that I was there.”

Banners, y’all. Are we talking Central Division banners? He has to be, right? George’s number isn’t retired in Indiana. He’s not even sure if his number is going to be retired in Indiana himself.

Generally, when people talk about banners, they’re talking about championships. But the Pacers never actually made it to the NBA Finals during George’s tenure. Indiana came close, sure. But LeBron James was standing in the way. So, yeah. Everyone was a bit confused.

The internet absolutely roasted George for this take.

Jimmy Butler playing Nickelback in the Heat locker room after a loss shouldn’t be so funny, but it is

Jimmy Butler is so perfect in every way

Jimmy Butler sets the tone for the Miami Heat in so many different ways. Apparently, that includes the post-game playlist.

We know Butler is a huge country music fan, so immediately you get where he’s coming from. His taste is a bit eclectic, and that’s not a bad thing. So you already know the vibes when going into the Miami Heat locker room.

That’s why the lede from this latest profile on Butler is so perfect. Butler was apparently blasting Nickelback from the team locker room after a disappointing loss to the Orlando Magic, according to ESPN’s Nick Fridell.

The best part? Jimmy sang every word.

“The sounds of Nickelback coming from the portable speaker inside the Miami Heat locker room were unmistakable. As the rest of his teammates and Heat staffers quietly showered, got dressed and picked over a postgame pizza spread following a 126-114 overtime loss to the Orlando Magic on Saturday, Jimmy Butler decided it was the the right time to pump up the volume on his stereo and blast the familiar sounds of Chad Kroeger’s voice.

And Butler, who had just poured in a game-high 38 points in 39 minutes sang every word to each song.”

The visual of this alone is absolutely hilarious. Jimmy Butler singing from the bottom of his heart after a disappointing loss while everyone else is trying to pack up is just so…Jimmy Butler.

What makes this even better, though, is this — Nickelback is so polarizing. You either love them or you hate them. And their music can get kind of sad.

So, honestly, I’m just imagining Jimmy Butler singing “How You Remind Me” from his soul while, like, Caleb Martin is trying to pack up and leave.

That’s just perfect. And, again, it’s so Jimmy Butler.

Apparently, though, whatever Butler did after the Magic loss has worked. The Heat have won two in a row since then.

Maybe keep the tunes going, Jimmy. Something is clicking.

Mike Greenberg is every Jets fan with his reaction to Aaron Rodgers announcing his intentions

Mike Greenberg’s reaction is amazing

The Jets fortunes are finally turning around. After being just a quarterback away for so long, Aaron Rodgers has announced he’s coming to (hopefully?) save the day in New York.

Nobody was happier to hear the news than Jets fans. Among them was Mike Greenberg. The dude was absolutely pumped to see his favorite team finally getting a quarterback.

We know this because his wife, Stacy, did the fantastic work of not only documenting his reaction but also documenting the moments leading up to his reaction to Rodgers saying he’s coming to New York.

And that reaction, folks, is absolutely priceless. It’s absolutely the same one Jets fans everywhere had.

Look at this joy, y’all.

Mans went from drinking Smart Water while stressing to popping bottles. It’s hilarious.

But what’s even better was the journey to getting there.

This UNC student asked a hilarious — but extremely real — question after finding out Tyler Nickel entered the transfer portal

This is pure comedy.

College coaches across sports have been complaining about the transfer portal for years at this point. Clearly, they don’t appreciate the autonomy and agency it gives student-athletes.

If we’re being honest, their arguments generally don’t hold very much weight. They certainly can’t hold a candle to the problem this UNC student is about to have as Tyler Nickel is entering the transfer portal.

UNC student, Shivan Shah, had a very real — and hilarious — question about one of his classmates after he found out Nickel planned on leaving UNC. Shah just wants to know what this means for their group presentation next month.

Honestly, I feel this. Nickel’s transfer is cool or whatever, but Shah is trying to get that good grade.

But through it all, Shah has no complaints. These are only jokes. He was completely understanding and had nothing but complimentary things to say about Nickel.

This argument would be more convincing than any arguments coaches have made about why the transfer portal is the end of the world. Yet, here we are.

Looks like the coaches out there could learn something from the students. Best of luck to Shah on the project. He should get an A for this tweet alone.

A comprehensive emoji breakdown of Breanna Stewart’s extremely confusing emoji-filled tweets ahead of WNBA Free Agency

What in the world is Stewie talking about here?

Breanna Stewart is one of the best players in the WNBA, without a doubt. She’s a signature shoe athlete for a reason, y’all.

Stewie has only played 6 seasons in the W so far, but she’s already a 4-time All-Star and a two-time WNBA Champion. On top of that, she’s already an MVP and nearly won another one last season if not for the incredible season A’ja Wilson had.

And, now, she’s a free agent.

That’s right. Breanna Stewart — who has been a member of the Seattle Storm for her entire career so far — might actually be on the move. As one of the best players in the WNBA, that’s already going to have the entire league on edge.

It’s the same thing that happens when LeBron James or Kevin Durant becomes a free agent or demands a trade. It freezes up the entire league. No one knows what to do because whatever Stewie chooses to do will flip the league on its head — even with this being arguably the best free agent class the league has ever seen.

So, yeah. Things are a bit tense in the W right now. And Stewart is adding fuel to the fire…with emojis.

Stewart has been dropping tweets filled with emojis over the last few days as we get closer and closer to the start of free agency on January 21st. First, she dropped this tweet on January 16.

Then, she dropped this bad boy three days later on the 19th.

And nobody has any clue what any of it means. But don’t worry. That’s not going to stop us from breaking it down. Let’s dive into it.

It’s time for some…meaningless speculation!

The Warriors have been playing NBA 2k in real life all along and now we finally have proof

THE BALL JUST GLITCHED. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN???

All these years we’ve all been wondering how in the heck the Warriors’ offense works.

The team’s system has looked unstoppable for years on end now. And even when it isn’t charged up by the immense star power Golden State has had over the years, the ball still moves in ways that confound everyone.

But we finally figured it out. We finally understand why now. The reason the offense works so well is because, well, the Warriors are actually playing a game of 2k while everyone else is playing normal basketball.

Don’t close this window just yet! I know, I know. Sounds crazy, right? But we have proof! I mean, how else would you explain this ball glitch?

THERE’S NO WAY, Y’ALL.

Look, the rational response here is that Green threw a bounce pass to Thompson and the camera just missed it. But that’s exactly what they want you to think.

Nope. The ball glitched right into Thompson’s hands. The simulation is simulating. There’s no doubt in my mind about it. The Warriors have been doing it for years. Now, we’ve finally got it on camera.

I think we just caught the NBA’s version of Sasquatch, y’all.

Ohio State’s Twitter account hilariously screwed up the tradition of crossing out ‘M’ again before playing Michigan

Hopefully, Ohio State pays more attention to detail once the game starts

Listen, man. We all understand it’s rivalry week. And we all understand what Michigan did to Ohio State last year. Michigan legitimately broke OSU.

This is also a particularly huge rivalry game. Both teams are 11-0 and both could show up in the College Football Playoff when it comes down to it. This is a huge game for both teams.

Part of the tradition for Ohio State ahead of the game is removing the M from everything. Literally. But they always somehow seem to miss one when it comes to Twitter.

The OSU Twitter account tweeted out a hype video for Saturday’s game, it removed M from all of the words in the tweet.

Except for one.

How do you miss the M in some? Come on, y’all. Be better. If you’re going to remove the M, remove it all the way.

Fans had a pretty great laugh at this.
