Georgia-Missouri kickoff time, TV set

Georgia football hosts Missouri as part of a CBS doubleheader

The Georgia Bulldogs will host the (7-1) Missouri Tigers on Nov. 4. Kickoff of the Missouri game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET. The clash between two of the top teams in the SEC East will be televised on CBS.

The winner of the Georgia-Missouri game will have an inside track to winning the SEC East. Missouri has an off week before traveling to play Georgia. The Bulldogs play Florida on Oct. 28 the week before the Missouri game.

Missouri nearly upset Georgia in 2022, but the Bulldogs rallied in the second half and pulled off a narrow 26-22 win.

CBS will also televise a rare night game following the Georgia game. At 7:45 p.m. ET the (6-2) LSU Tigers and (7-1) Alabama Crimson Tide play in the second game of CBS’s doubleheader. The winner of the LSU-Alabama game will likely represent the SEC West in the SEC championship.

The Nov. 4 SEC schedule also features Texas A&M at Ole Miss, Arkansas at Florida, Auburn at Vanderbilt, and Kentucky at Mississippi State. Tennessee and South Carolina both host non-Power Five opponents.

Georgia is the No. 1 team in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Missouri is ranked No. 16.

The Georgia vs Missouri football game, which was scheduled for this weekend in Columbia, Missouri, has been postponed, the SEC announced.

The reason being positive COVID tests and contact tracing within the Tigers’ football program.

The No. 12 ranked Bulldogs were set to take on Missouri Saturday at noon in a game that was to be televised on the SEC Network.

The SEC released a statement:

The Georgia at Missouri football game of November 14 has been postponed due to combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Missouri football program, consistent with Southeastern Conference COVID-19 management requirements.

Because Missouri has a game tentatively scheduled for December 12, the opportunity to reschedule the Georgia at Missouri game will need to be evaluated. The rescheduling of games on the remaining SEC football schedule may include December 19 as a playing date.

With Missouri already playing Vanderbilt on December 12, the date the conference set aside for make-up games, this game may be forced to be played on December 19, the date of the SEC Championship, per the SEC’s release.

Alabama at LSU and Texas A&M at Tennessee, both scheduled for this weekend, have also been postponed for the same reasons.

Georgia plays at home against Mississippi State the following weekend.
