The Georgia Bulldogs won the 2021 college football season national championship, but weren’t done yet. Georgia dominated the NFL combine and then made history with five defensive players drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft. No other college football team has ever had five defensive players in the first round.
Georgia set a new school record for most players drafted with 15. It is the second consecutive year that Georgia has broken its school record. The Bulldogs also had the most players drafted in a seven round draft in NFL draft history.
