Signing Day: UGA football signs OG Jared Wilson

Three-star offensive guard recruit Jared Wilson (Clemmons, North Carolina) has signed with the University of Georgia football program.

Three-star offensive guard recruit Jared Wilson (Clemmons, North Carolina) originally committed to Georgia in November last year and then backed off that commitment in February when offensive line coach Sam Pittman left for Arkansas. Now, Wilson is signing with the University of Georgia as a member of the class of 2021.

The 6-foot-4, 325-pound guard ranks as America’s No. 408 overall prospect, No. 19 offensive guard and No. 23 in the state of North Carolina. He’ll join a very talented offensive line room in Athens.

North Carolina turned on the heat and received a commitment from Wilson, but, in the end, he wanted to be a Bulldog.

Here’s the message he shared with Bulldog fans when he recommitted to Georgia over UNC:

The 6-foot-4, 325-pound guard ranks as America’s No. 408 overall prospect, No. 19 offensive guard and No. 23 in the state of North Carolina. He plays for West Forsyth High School.
