Georgia Bulldogs among four-star DB Ahmari Harvey’s top schools

The Georgia Bulldogs, Florida Gators, FSU, and more are among four-star DB Ahmari Harvey’s top schools.

The Georgia Bulldogs have landed in the top schools for four-star safety Ahmari  Harvey. Harvey is a talented member of the class of 2021. He’s from Tallahassee, Florida and plays high school football at Florida State University School.

Harvey is considered Kirby Smart and UGA in his top seven. He announced his top schools via Twitter:

Georgia, FSU, LSU, Florida, Texas A&M, Penn State, and Auburn all made Harvey’s top seven. Florida and FSU are favored to land the four star.

Harvey will be a member of the class of 2021 to watch moving forward. UGA only has two commits in the class, so Georgia is beginning to focus their recruiting efforts on that class now that National Signing Day for the class of 2020 is over. Will UGA be able to put together another top class in 2021?

Sorey has received recruiting interest so far from FSU, Southern Mississippi, and Tennessee. Sorey was excited to receive his offer from UGA:

Sorey, who is currently only a freshman, will have an abundance of time to decide his recruiting future. Will it be in Athens?

Sorey has visited Florida State University in the process thus far. Sorey started on varsity as an eighth grader. Sorey shows impressive ability to track the ball in his highlights. He has lots of room to grow and will continue to progress moving forward.

Georgia currently has a few commits in the class of 2021, but is focusing on the class of 2020. Georgia’s recruiting in Florida is a part of a recent trend, where Miami, FSU, and Florida have been missing out on many elite in-state recruits. Instead, Georgia, Alabama, and Clemson have been taking a higher percentage of the elite Florida talent.

Can the Bulldogs continue the recent trend? Collier Jr. is also considering FSU, Miami, Florida, Ohio State, LSU, Auburn, Penn State, Syracuse, and Clemson.

UGA in four-star receiver Marcus Fleming’s top five

The Georgia Bulldogs are in the top five for 2020 receiver Marcus Fleming, who plays football at Miami Northwestern High School.

The Georgia Bulldogs cracked the top five for 2020 wide receiver Marcus Fleming. Fleming hails from Miami, Florida and plays football at traditional powerhouse Northwestern High School. Georgia currently has a top five class of 2020.

Flemming announced his top schools and his commitment date last night:

Georgia will battle with Maryland, Nebraska, Florida, and Florida State for the four-star receiver. Fleming is 5’9″ and 160 pounds, so he’ll look to bulk up before playing in the SEC, ACC, or Big Ten.

Fleming has excellent speed. He visited UGA last week for the Texas A&M game. The Bulldogs already have an elite 2020 receiver commitment from the Miami area in Marcus Rosemy.
