Wisconsin offered Will Griffin, a four-star class of 2026 quarterback from Tampa, Florida, on Monday. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound athlete still has two more years at Jesuit High School before he’d potentially make the leap to the collegiate level.

Although he’s still so far out from making his college debut, Griffin has already received 24 Division 1 offers, including five offers from within the Big Ten. With programs like Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon interested, Wisconsin has some competition within their conference.

Badgers offer four-star wide receiver from Texas

Can the Badgers land another player from The Woodlands?

Wisconsin offered Quanell X Farrakhan Jr., a four-star wide receiver from The Woodlands, Texas, on Wednesday. The 6-foot, 170-pound athlete is a junior in high school and will be a member of the class of 2025 recruiting group wherever he ends up.

To this point, Farrakhan has received 20 Division 1 offers, including five from within the Big Ten. As of right now, 247Sports expects him to join Penn State after his high school career, but nothing is set in stone.

One angle the Badgers have is the fact that the team’s class of 2024 four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer currently plays with the wide receiver and he could entice him to come to Madison.

Burgess is a 6-foot-4, 240-pound problem off the edge and he is considered a top 25 defensive lineman in the class of 2025 by 247Sports. His sophomore season highlights from Simeon can be found here.

With Luke Fickell taking over at head coach, defense has remained a focus of the future and Burgess would be a massive commitment if the Badgers can get him. As of right now, only quarterback Landyn Locke (Rockwall, TX) has committed for the class of 2025.

Kamren “Ferrari” Flowers, a four-star class of 2025 wide receiver from West Bloomfield, Michigan is set to visit UW-Madison on July 29.

Kamren “Ferrari” Flowers, a four-star class of 2025 wide receiver from West Bloomfield, Michigan is set to visit UW-Madison on July 29. The soon to be junior in high school already has an offer from Wisconsin, making the visit even more intriguing.

As of right now, Flowers has 10 Division 1 offers, with the Badgers being joined by Michigan State and Penn State in offering him from within the Big Ten. Considering he’s from Michigan, it’s possible that MSU has the inside track to gaining his eventual commitment, though I wouldn’t count out Luke Fickell and offensive coordinator Phil Longo.

For the class of 2025, so far, Wisconsin has only earned the commitment of one athlete, quarterback Landyn Locke (Rockwall, TX), though it remains incredibly early in that recruiting cycle.

The Wisconsin football team added another 2024 recruit Friday, gaining the commitment of four-star running back Darrion Dupree from Chicago, Illinois. He’ll join the Badgers after his final year of high school football at Mount Carmel.

Dupree picked Wisconsin over the 28 Division 1 programs that offered him, including Illinois, Iowa and Michigan (amongst others) from within the Big Ten. The 5-foot-10 athlete instead opted to choose a program in Madison that churns out pro-level running backs as good as any in the country.

Luke Fickell and Phil Longo’s offense of the future appears to be coming together with Dupree and 2024 four-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer (The Woodlands, TX) figuring to be focal points.

With Braelon Allen potentially moving on the the NFL following the 2023 campaign, the addition of Dupree is a rather impactful one.
